إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انفَطَرَتْ
English Translation:
When the heaven is cleft asunder.
اردو ترجمہ:
جب آسمان پھٹ جائے گا.
وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انتَثَرَتْ
English Translation:
And when the stars have fallen and scattered;
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جب ستارے جھڑ جائیں گے.
وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ
English Translation:
And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up);
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جب سمندر بہہ نکلیں گے.
وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ
English Translation:
And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents)
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جب قبریں (شق کر کے) اکھاڑ دی جائیں گی.
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ
English Translation:
(Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds).
اردو ترجمہ:
(اس وقت) ہر شخص اپنے آگے بھیجے ہوئے اور پیچھے چھوڑے ہوئے (یعنی اگلے پچھلے اعمال) کو معلوم کر لے گا.
يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ
English Translation:
O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous?
اردو ترجمہ:
اے انسان! تجھے اپنے رب کریم سے کس چیز نے بہکایا.
الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ
English Translation:
Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion;
اردو ترجمہ:
جس (رب نے) تجھے پیدا کیا، پھر ٹھیک ٹھاک کیا، پھر (درست اور) برابر بنایا.
فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ
English Translation:
In whatever form He willed, He put you together.
اردو ترجمہ:
جس صورت میں چاہا تجھے جوڑ دیا.
كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ
English Translation:
Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds).
اردو ترجمہ:
ہرگز نہیں بلکہ تم تو جزا وسزا کے دن کو جھٹلاتے ہو.
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ
English Translation:
But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you.
اردو ترجمہ:
یقیناً تم پر نگہبان عزت والے.
كِرَامًا كَاتِبِينَ
English Translation:
Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds).
اردو ترجمہ:
لکھنے والے مقرر ہیں.
يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
English Translation:
They know all that you do.
اردو ترجمہ:
جوکچھ تم کرتے ہو وه جانتے ہیں.
إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ
English Translation:
Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise);
اردو ترجمہ:
یقیناً نیک لوگ (جنت کے عیش وآرام اور) نعمتوں میں ہوں گے.
وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ
English Translation:
And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell),

اور یقیناً بدکار لوگ دوزخ میں ہوں گے.
يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ
English Translation:
In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense,
اردو ترجمہ:
بدلے والے دن اس میں جائیں گے.
وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ
English Translation:
And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell).

وه اس سے کبھی غائب نہ ہونے پائیں گے.
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
English Translation:
And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is?
اردو ترجمہ:
تجھے کچھ خبر بھی ہے کہ بدلے کا دن کیا ہے.
ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
English Translation:
Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is?
اردو ترجمہ:
میں پھر (کہتا ہوں کہ) تجھے کیا معلوم کہ جزا (اور سزا) کا دن کیا ہے.
يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا ۖ وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ
English Translation:
(It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah.

(وه ہے) جس دن کوئی شخص کسی شخص کے لئے کسی چیز کا مختار نہ ہوگا، اور (تمام تر) احکام اس روز اللہ کے ہی ہوں گے.
