وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ
English Translation:
By the heaven, and At-Tariq (the night-comer, i.e. the bright star);
اردو ترجمہ:
قسم ہے آسمان کی اور اندھیرے میں روشن ہونے والے کی.
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ
English Translation:
And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is?
اردو ترجمہ:
تجھے معلوم بھی ہے کہ وه رات کو نمودار ہونے والی چیز کیا ہے؟
النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ
English Translation:
(It is) the star of piercing brightness;
اردو ترجمہ:
وه روشن ستاره ہے.
إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ
English Translation:
There is no human being but has a protector over him (or her) (i.e. angels incharge of each human being guarding him, writing his good and bad deeds, etc.)
اردو ترجمہ:
کوئی ایسا نہیں جس پر نگہبان فرشتہ نہ ہو.
فَلْيَنظُرِ الْإِنسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ
English Translation:
So let man see from what he is created!
اردو ترجمہ:
انسان کو دیکھنا چاہئے کہ وه کس چیز سے پیدا کیا گیا ہے.
خُلِقَ مِن مَّاءٍ دَافِقٍ
English Translation:
He is created from a water gushing forth.
اردو ترجمہ:
وه ایک اچھلتے پانی سے پیدا کیا گیا ہے.
يَخْرُجُ مِن بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ
English Translation:
Proceeding from between the back-bone and the ribs,
اردو ترجمہ:
جو پیٹھ اور سینے کے درمیان سے نکلتا ہے.
إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِ لَقَادِرٌ
English Translation:
Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)!
اردو ترجمہ:
بیشک وه اسے پھیر لانے پر یقیناً قدرت رکھنے والا ہے.
يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَائِرُ
English Translation:
The Day when all the secrets (deeds, prayers, fasting, etc.) will be examined (as to their truth).
اردو ترجمہ:
جس دن پوشیده بھیدوں کی جانچ پڑتال ہوگی.
فَمَا لَهُ مِن قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ
English Translation:
Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper.
اردو ترجمہ:
تو نہ ہوگا اس کے پاس کچھ زور نہ مدددگار.
وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِ
English Translation:
By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again.
اردو ترجمہ:
بارش والے آسمان کی قسم!
وَالْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِ
English Translation:
And the earth which splits (with the growth of trees and plants),
اردو ترجمہ:
اور پھٹنے والی زمین کی قسم!
إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ
English Translation:
Verily! This (the Quran) is the Word that separates (the truth from falsehood, and commands strict legal laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil).
اردو ترجمہ:
بیشک یہ (قرآن) البتہ دو ٹوک فیصلہ کرنے والا کلام ہے.
وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ
English Translation:
And it is not a thing for amusement.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ ہنسی کی (اور بے فائده) بات نہیں.
إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا
English Translation:
Verily, they are but plotting a plot (against you O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)).
اردو ترجمہ:
البتہ کافر داؤ گھات میں ہیں.
وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا
English Translation:
And I (too) am planning a plan.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور میں بھی ایک چال چل رہا ہوں.
فَمَهِّلِ الْكَافِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا
English Translation:
So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them for a while.
اردو ترجمہ:
تو کافروں کو مہلت دے انہیں تھوڑے دنوں چھوڑ دے.
