الم
English Translation:
Alif-Lam-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].
اردو ترجمہ:
الم.
غُلِبَتِ الرُّومُ
English Translation:
The Romans have been defeated.
اردو ترجمہ:
رومی مغلوب ہوگئے ہیں.
فِي أَدْنَى الْأَرْضِ وَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ غَلَبِهِمْ سَيَغْلِبُونَ
English Translation:
In the nearer land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious.
اردو ترجمہ:
نزدیک کی زمین پر اور وه مغلوب ہونے کے بعد عنقریب غالب آجائیں گے.
فِي بِضْعِ سِنِينَ ۗ لِلَّهِ الْأَمْرُ مِن قَبْلُ وَمِن بَعْدُ ۚ وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
English Translation:
Within three to nine years. The decision of the matter, before and after (these events) is only with Allah, (before the defeat of Romans by the Persians, and after, i.e. the defeat of the Persians by the Romans). And on that Day, the believers (i.e. Muslims) will rejoice (at the victory given by Allah to the Romans against the Persians),
اردو ترجمہ:
چند سال میں ہی۔ اس سے پہلے اور اس کے بعد بھی اختیار اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کا ہے۔ اس روز مسلمان شادمان ہوں گے.
بِنَصْرِ اللَّهِ ۚ يَنصُرُ مَن يَشَاءُ ۖ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ
English Translation:
With the help of Allah, He helps whom He wills, and He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ کی مدد سے ، وه جس کی چاہتا ہے مدد کرتا ہے۔ اصل غالب اور مہربان وہی ہے.
وَعْدَ اللَّهِ ۖ لَا يُخْلِفُ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
(It is) a Promise of Allah (i.e. Allah will give victory to the Romans against the Persians), and Allah fails not in His Promise, but most of men know not.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ کا وعده ہے ، اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے وعدے کا خلاف نہیں کرتا لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے.
يَعْلَمُونَ ظَاهِرًا مِّنَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ عَنِ الْآخِرَةِ هُمْ غَافِلُونَ
English Translation:
They know only the outside appearance of the life of the world (i.e. the matters of their livelihood, like irrigating or sowing or reaping, etc.), and they are heedless of the Hereafter.
اردو ترجمہ:
وه تو (صرف) دنیوی زندگی کے ظاہر کو (ہی) جانتے ہیں اور آخرت سے تو بالکل ہی بےخبر ہیں.
أَوَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُوا فِي أَنفُسِهِم ۗ مَّا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ بِلِقَاءِ رَبِّهِمْ لَكَافِرُونَ
English Translation:
Do they not think deeply (in their ownselves) about themselves (how Allah created them from nothing, and similarly He will resurrect them)? Allah has created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, except with truth and for an appointed term. And indeed many of mankind deny the Meeting with their Lord. [See Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 21, Page 24].
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا ان لوگوں نے اپنے دل میں یہ غور نہیں کیا؟ کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے آسمانوں کو اور زمین اور ان کے درمیان جو کچھ ہے سب کو بہترین قرینے سے مقرر وقت تک کے لئے (ہی) پیدا کیا ہے، ہاں اکثر لوگ یقیناً اپنے رب کی ملاقات کے منکر ہیں.
أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَأَثَارُوا الْأَرْضَ وَعَمَرُوهَا أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا عَمَرُوهَا وَجَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ۖ فَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
English Translation:
Do they not travel in the land, and see what was the end of those before them? They were superior to them in strength, and they tilled the earth and populated it in greater numbers than these (pagans) have done, and there came to them their Messengers with clear proofs. Surely, Allah wronged them not, but they used to wrong themselves.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا انہوں نے زمین پر چل پھر کر یہ نہیں دیکھا کہ ان سے پہلے لوگوں کا انجام کیسا (برا) ہوا؟ وه ان سے بہت زیاده توانا (اور طاقتور) تھے اور انہوں نے (بھی) زمین بوئی جوتی تھی اور ان سے زیاده آباد کی تھی اور ان کے پاس ان کے رسول روشن دلائل لے کر آئے تھے۔ یہ تو ناممکن تھا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ان پر ظلم کرتا لیکن (دراصل) وه خود اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے تھے.
ثُمَّ كَانَ عَاقِبَةَ الَّذِينَ أَسَاءُوا السُّوأَىٰ أَن كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَكَانُوا بِهَا يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
English Translation:
Then evil was the end of those who did evil, because they belied the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, Messengers, etc.) of Allah and made mock of them.
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر آخر برا کرنے والوں کا بہت ہی برا انجام ہوا ، اس لئے کہ وه اللہ تعالیٰ کی آیتوں کو جھٹلاتے اور ان کی ہنسی اڑاتے تھے.
اللَّهُ يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
English Translation:
Allah (Alone) originates the creation, then He will repeat it, then to Him you will be returned.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ ہی مخلوق کی ابتدا کرتا ہے پھر وہی اسے دوباره پیدا کرے گا پھر تم سب اسی کی طرف لوٹائے جاؤ گے.
وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يُبْلِسُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ
English Translation:
And on the Day when the Hour will be established, the Mujrimun (disbelievers, sinners, criminals, polytheists, etc.) will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows, and despair.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جس دن قیامت قائم ہوگی تو گنہگار حیرت زده ره جائیں گے.
وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُم مِّن شُرَكَائِهِمْ شُفَعَاءُ وَكَانُوا بِشُرَكَائِهِمْ كَافِرِينَ
English Translation:
No intercessor will they have from those whom they made equal with Allah (partners i.e. their so-called associate gods), and they will (themselves) reject and deny their partners.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ان کے تمام تر شریکوں میں سے ایک بھی ان کا سفارشی نہ ہوگا اور (خود یہ بھی) اپنے شریکوں کے منکر ہو جائیں گے.
وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَفَرَّقُونَ
English Translation:
And on the Day when the Hour will be established, that Day shall (all men) be separated (i.e. the believers will be separated from the disbelievers).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جس دن قیامت قائم ہوگی اس دن (جماعتیں) الگ الگ ہو جائیں گی.
فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَهُمْ فِي رَوْضَةٍ يُحْبَرُونَ
English Translation:
Then as for those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and did righteous good deeds, such shall be honoured and made to enjoy luxurious life (forever) in a Garden of delight (Paradise).
اردو ترجمہ:
جو ایمان لاکر نیک اعمال کرتے رہے وه تو جنت میں خوش وخرم کر دیئے جائیں گے.
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَلِقَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُحْضَرُونَ
English Translation:
And as for those who disbelieved and belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, Allah's Messengers, Resurrection, etc.), and the Meeting of the Hereafter, such shall be brought forth to the torment (in the Hell-fire).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جنہوں نے کفر کیا تھا اور ہماری آیتوں کو اور آخرت کی ملاقات کو جھوٹا ٹھہرایا تھا وه سب عذاب میں پکڑ کر حاضر رکھے جائیں گے.
فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ
English Translation:
So glorify Allah [above all that (evil) they associate with Him (O believers)], when you come up to the evening [i.e. offer the (Maghrib) sunset and ('Isha') night prayers], and when you enter the morning [i.e. offer the (Fajr) morning prayer].
اردو ترجمہ:
پس اللہ تعالیٰ کی تسبیح پڑھا کرو جب کہ تم شام کرو اور جب صبح کرو.
وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَعَشِيًّا وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ
English Translation:
And His is all the praises and thanks in the heavens and the earth, and (glorify Him) in the afternoon (i.e. offer 'Asr prayer) and when you come up to the time, when the day begins to decline (i.e. offer Zuhr prayer). (Ibn 'Abbas said: "These are the five compulsory congregational prayers mentioned in the Quran)."
اردو ترجمہ:
تمام تعریفوں کے لائق آسمان وزمین میں صرف وہی ہے تیسرے پہر کو اور ظہر کے وقت بھی (اس کی پاکیزگی بیان کرو).
يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَيُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ
English Translation:
He brings out the living from the dead, and brings out the dead from the living. And He revives the earth after its death. And thus shall you be brought out (resurrected).
اردو ترجمہ:
(وہی) زنده کو مرده سے اور مرده کو زنده سے نکالتا ہے ۔ اور وہی زمین کو اس کی موت کے بعد زنده کرتا ہے اسی طرح تم (بھی) نکالے جاؤ گے.
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ إِذَا أَنتُم بَشَرٌ تَنتَشِرُونَ
English Translation:
And among His Signs is this, that He created you (Adam) from dust, and then [Hawwa' (Eve) from Adam's rib, and then his offspring from the semen, and], - behold you are human beings scattered!
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے ہے کہ اس نے تم کو مٹی سے پیدا کیا پھر اب انسان بن کر (چلتے پھرتے) پھیل رہے ہو.
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
English Translation:
And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اس کی نشانیوں میں سے ہے کہ تمہاری ہی جنس سے بیویاں پیدا کیں تاکہ تم ان سے آرام پاؤ اس نے تمہارے درمیان محبت اور ہمدردی قائم کر دی، یقیناً غور وفکر کرنے والوں کے لئے اس میں بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں.
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَانِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّلْعَالِمِينَ
English Translation:
And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. Verily, in that are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس (کی قدرت) کی نشانیوں میں سے آسمانوں اور زمین کی پیدائش اور تمہاری زبانوں اور رنگتوں کا اختلاف (بھی) ہے ، دانش مندوں کے لئے اس میں یقیناً بڑی نشانیاں ہیں.
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ مَنَامُكُم بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَابْتِغَاؤُكُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ
English Translation:
And among His Signs is the sleep that you take by night and by day, and your seeking of His Bounty. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who listen.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور (بھی) اس کی (قدرت کی) نشانی تمہاری راتوں اور دن کی نیند میں ہے اور اس کے فضل (یعنی روزی) کو تمہارا تلاش کرنا بھی ہے ۔ جو لوگ (کان لگا کر) سننے کے عادی ہیں ان کے لئے اس میں بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں.
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ يُرِيكُمُ الْبَرْقَ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَيُحْيِي بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
English Translation:
And among His Signs is that He shows you the lightning, by way of fear and hope, and He sends down water (rain) from the sky, and therewith revives the earth after its death. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who understand.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اس کی نشانیوں میں سے ایک یہ (بھی) ہے کہ وه تمہیں ڈرانے اور امیدوار بنانے کے لئے بجلیاں دکھاتا ہے اور آسمان سے بارش برساتا ہے اور اس مرده زمین کو زنده کر دیتا ہے، اس میں (بھی) عقلمندوں کے لئے بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں.
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَن تَقُومَ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ بِأَمْرِهِ ۚ ثُمَّ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ دَعْوَةً مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ إِذَا أَنتُمْ تَخْرُجُونَ
English Translation:
And among His Signs is that the heaven and the earth stand by His Command, then afterwards when He will call you by single call, behold, you will come out from the earth (i.e. from your graves for reckoning and recompense).
اردو ترجمہ:
اس کی ایک نشانی یہ بھی ہے کہ آسمان وزمین اسی کے حکم سے قائم ہیں، پھر جب وه تمہیں آواز دے گا صرف ایک بار کی آواز کے ساتھ ہی تم سب زمین سے نکل آؤ گے.
وَلَهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ كُلٌّ لَّهُ قَانِتُونَ
English Translation:
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient to Him.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور زمین وآسمان کی ہر چیز اس کی ملکیت ہےاور ہر ایک اس کے فرمان کے ماتحت ہے.
وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ وَهُوَ أَهْوَنُ عَلَيْهِ ۚ وَلَهُ الْمَثَلُ الْأَعْلَىٰ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
English Translation:
And He it is Who originates the creation, then will repeat it (after it has been perished), and this is easier for Him. His is the highest description (i.e. none has the right to be worshipped but He, and there is nothing comparable unto Him) in the heavens and in the earth. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
اردو ترجمہ:
وہی ہے جو اول بار مخلوق کو پیدا کرتا ہے پھر سے دوباره پیدا کرے گا اور یہ تو اس پر بہت ہی آسان ہے۔ اسی کی بہترین اور اعلیٰ صفت ہے ، آسمانوں میں اور زمین میں بھی اور وہی غلبے والا حکمت والا ہے.
ضَرَبَ لَكُم مَّثَلًا مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ هَل لَّكُم مِّن مَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُم مِّن شُرَكَاءَ فِي مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ فَأَنتُمْ فِيهِ سَوَاءٌ تَخَافُونَهُمْ كَخِيفَتِكُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
English Translation:
He sets forth for you a parable from your ownselves, - Do you have partners among those whom your right hands possess (i.e. your slaves) to share as equals in the wealth We have bestowed on you? Whom you fear as you fear each other? Thus do We explain the signs in detail to a people who have sense.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہارے لئے ایک مثال خود تمہاری ہی بیان فرمائی، جو کچھ ہم نے تمہیں دے رکھا ہے کیا اس میں تمہارے غلاموں میں سے بھی کوئی تمہارا شریک ہے؟ کہ تم اور وه اس میں برابر درجے کے ہو ؟ اور تم ان کا ایسا خطره رکھتے ہو جیسا خود اپنوں کا، ہم عقل رکھنے والوں کے لئے اسی طرح کھول کھول کر آیتیں بیان کر دیتے ہیں.
بَلِ اتَّبَعَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَهْوَاءَهُم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۖ فَمَن يَهْدِي مَنْ أَضَلَّ اللَّهُ ۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ
English Translation:
Nay, but those who do wrong follow their own lusts without knowledge, Then who will guide him whom Allah has sent astray? And for such there will be no helpers.
اردو ترجمہ:
بلکہ بات یہ ہے کہ یہ ظالم تو بغیر علم کے خواہش پرستی کر رہے ہیں، اسے کون راه دکھائے جسے اللہ تعالیٰ راه سے ہٹا دے، ان کا ایک بھی مددگار نہیں.
فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا ۚ فِطْرَتَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا ۚ لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
So set you (O Muhammad SAW) your face towards the religion of pure Islamic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allah Alone) Allah's Fitrah (i.e. Allah's Islamic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalq-illah (i.e. the Religion of Allah Islamic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol 21, Page 41]
اردو ترجمہ:
پس آپ یک سو ہو کر اپنا منھ دین کی طرف متوجہ کر دیں ۔ اللہ تعالیٰ کی وه فطرت جس پر اس نے لوگوں کو پیدا کیا ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ کے بنائے کو بدلنا نہیں، یہی سیدھا دین ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں سمجھتے.
۞ مُنِيبِينَ إِلَيْهِ وَاتَّقُوهُ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
English Translation:
(Always) Turning in repentance to Him (only), and be afraid and dutiful to Him; and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and be not of Al-Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc.).
اردو ترجمہ:
(لوگو!) اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف رجوع ہو کر اس سے ڈرتے رہو اور نماز کو قائم رکھو اور مشرکین میں سے نہ ہو جاؤ.
مِنَ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِيَعًا ۖ كُلُّ حِزْبٍ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُونَ
English Translation:
Of those who split up their religion (i.e. who left the true Islamic Monotheism), and became sects, [i.e. they invented new things in the religion (Bid'ah), and followed their vain desires], each sect rejoicing in that which is with it.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان لوگوں میں سے جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیا اور خود بھی گروه گروه ہوگئے ہر گروه اس چیز پر جو اس کے پاس ہے مگن ہے.
وَإِذَا مَسَّ النَّاسَ ضُرٌّ دَعَوْا رَبَّهُم مُّنِيبِينَ إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا أَذَاقَهُم مِّنْهُ رَحْمَةً إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يُشْرِكُونَ
English Translation:
And when harm touches men, they cry sincerely only to their Lord (Allah), turning to Him in repentance, but when He gives them a taste of His Mercy, behold! a party of them associate partners in worship with their Lord.
اردو ترجمہ:
لوگوں کو جب کبھی کوئی مصیبت پہنچتی ہے تو اپنے رب کی طرف (پوری طرح) رجوع ہو کر دعائیں کرتے ہیں، پھر جب وه اپنی طرف سے رحمت کاذائقہ چکھاتا ہے تو ان میں سے ایک جماعت اپنے رب کے ساتھ شرک کرنے لگتی ہے.
لِيَكْفُرُوا بِمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ ۚ فَتَمَتَّعُوا فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
So as to be ungrateful for the graces which We have bestowed on them. Then enjoy (your short life); but you will come to know.
اردو ترجمہ:
تاکہ وه اس چیز کی ناشکری کریں جو ہم نے انہیں دی ہے اچھا تم فائده اٹھا لو! ابھی ابھی تمہیں معلوم ہو جائے گا.
أَمْ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانًا فَهُوَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِمَا كَانُوا بِهِ يُشْرِكُونَ
English Translation:
Or have We revealed to them a Scripture, which speaks of that which they have been associating with Him?
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا ہم نے ان پر کوئی دلیل نازل کی ہے جو اسے بیان کرتی ہے جسے یہ اللہ کے ساتھ شریک کر رہے ہیں.
وَإِذَا أَذَقْنَا النَّاسَ رَحْمَةً فَرِحُوا بِهَا ۖ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَقْنَطُونَ
English Translation:
And when We cause mankind to taste of mercy, they rejoice therein, but when some evil afflicts them because of (evil deeds and sins) that their (own) hands have sent forth, lo! They are in despair!
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جب ہم لوگوں کو رحمت کا مزه چکھاتے ہیں تو وه خوب خوش ہو جاتے ہیں اور اگر انہیں ان کے ہاتھوں کے کرتوت کی وجہ سے کوئی برائی پہنچے تو ایک دم وه محض ناامید ہو جاتے ہیں.
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
English Translation:
Do they not see that Allah enlarges the provision for whom He wills and straitens (it for whom He wills). Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who believe.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ جسے چاہے کشاده روزی دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہے تنگ ، اس میں بھی ان لوگوں کے لئے جو ایمان لاتے ہیں نشانیاں ہیں.
فَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَىٰ حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
English Translation:
So give to the kindred his due, and to Al-Miskin (the poor) and to the wayfarer. That is best for those who seek Allah's Countenance, and it is they who will be successful.
اردو ترجمہ:
پس قرابت دار کو مسکین کو مسافر کو ہر ایک کو اس کا حق دیجئے ، یہ ان کے لئے بہتر ہے جو اللہ تعالیٰ کا منھ دیکھنا چاہتے ہوں، ایسے ہی لوگ نجات پانے والے ہیں.
وَمَا آتَيْتُم مِّن رِّبًا لِّيَرْبُوَ فِي أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ فَلَا يَرْبُو عِندَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا آتَيْتُم مِّن زَكَاةٍ تُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُضْعِفُونَ
English Translation:
And that which you give in gift (to others), in order that it may increase (your wealth by expecting to get a better one in return) from other people's property, has no increase with Allah, but that which you give in Zakat seeking Allah's Countenance then those, they shall have manifold increase.
اردو ترجمہ:
تم جو سود پر دیتے ہو کہ لوگوں کے مال میں بڑھتا رہے وه اللہ تعالیٰ کے ہاں نہیں بڑھتا ۔ اور جو کچھ صدقہ زکوٰة تم اللہ تعالیٰ کا منھ دیکھنے (اورخوشنودی کے لئے) دو تو ایسے لوگ ہی اپنا دو چند کرنے والے ہیں.
اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ۖ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَائِكُم مَّن يَفْعَلُ مِن ذَٰلِكُم مِّن شَيْءٍ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
English Translation:
Allah is He Who created you, then provided food for you, then will cause you to die, then (again) He will give you life (on the Day of Resurrection). Is there any of your (so-called) partners (of Allah) that do anything of that? Glory be to Him! And Exalted be He above all that (evil) they associate (with Him).
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ وه ہے جس نے تمہیں پیدا کیا پھر روزی دی پھر مار ڈالے گا پھر زنده کر دے گا بتاؤ تمہارے شریکوں میں سے کوئی بھی ایسا ہے جو ان میں سے کچھ بھی کر سکتا ہو۔ اللہ تعالیٰ کے لئے پاکی اور برتری ہے ہر اس شریک سے جو یہ لوگ مقرر کرتے ہیں.
ظَهَرَ الْفَسَادُ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِي النَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم بَعْضَ الَّذِي عَمِلُوا لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
English Translation:
Evil (sins and disobedience of Allah, etc.) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds, etc.), that Allah may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allah, and begging His Pardon).
اردو ترجمہ:
خشکی اور تری میں لوگوں کی بداعمالیوں کے باعﺚ فساد پھیل گیا۔ اس لئے کہ انہیں ان کے بعض کرتوتوں کا پھل اللہ تعالیٰ چکھا دے (بہت) ممکن ہے کہ وه باز آجائیں.
قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّشْرِكِينَ
English Translation:
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Travel in the land and see what was the end of those before (you)! Most of them were Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc.)."
اردو ترجمہ:
زمین میں چل پھر کر دیکھو تو سہی کہ اگلوں کا انجام کیا ہوا۔ جن میں اکثر لوگ مشرک تھے.
فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ الْقَيِّمِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۖ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصَّدَّعُونَ
English Translation:
So set you (O Muhammad SAW) your face to (the obedience of Allah, your Lord) the straight and right religion (Islamic Monotheism), before there comes from Allah a Day which none can avert it. On that Day men shall be divided [(in two groups), a group in Paradise and a group in Hell].
اردو ترجمہ:
پس آپ اپنا رخ اس سچے اور سیدھے دین کی طرف ہی رکھیں قبل اس کے کہ وه دن آجائے جس کا ٹل جانا اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے ہے ہی نہیں ، اس دن سب متفرق ہو جائیں گے.
مَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُ ۖ وَمَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِأَنفُسِهِمْ يَمْهَدُونَ
English Translation:
Whosoever disbelieves will suffer from his disbelief, and whosoever does righteous good deeds (by practising Islamic Monotheism), then such will prepare a good place (in Paradise) for themselves (and will be saved by Allah from His Torment).
اردو ترجمہ:
کفر کرنے والوں پر ان کے کفر کا وبال ہوگا اور نیک کام کرنے والے اپنی ہی آرام گاه سنوار رہے ہیں.
لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ مِن فَضْلِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ
English Translation:
That He may reward those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous good deeds, out of His Bounty. Verily, He likes not the disbelievers.
اردو ترجمہ:
تاکہ اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں اپنے فضل سے جزا دے جو ایمان لائے اور نیک اعمال کیے وه کافروں کو دوست نہیں رکھتا ہے.
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَن يُرْسِلَ الرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرَاتٍ وَلِيُذِيقَكُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِهِ وَلِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ بِأَمْرِهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
English Translation:
And among His Signs is this, that He sends the winds as glad tidings, giving you a taste of His Mercy (i.e. rain), and that the ships may sail at His Command, and that you may seek of His Bounty, in order that you may be thankful.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس کی نشانیوں میں سے خوشخبریاں دینے والی ہواؤں کو چلانا بھی ہے اس لئے کہ تمہیں اپنی رحمت سے لطف اندوز کرے، اور اس لئے کہ اس کے حکم سے کشتیاں چلیں، اور اس لئے کہ اس کے فضل کو تم ڈھونڈو، اور اس لئے کہ تم شکر گزاری کرو.
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَاءُوهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا ۖ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
English Translation:
And indeed We did send Messengers before you (O Muhammad SAW) to their own peoples. They came to them with clear proofs, then, We took vengeance on those who committed crimes (disbelief, setting partners in worship with Allah, sins, etc.), and (as for) the believers it was incumbent upon Us to help (them).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ہم نے آپ سے پہلے بھی اپنے رسولوں کو ان کی قوم کی طرف بھیجا وه ان کے پاس دلیلیں لائے۔ پھر ہم نے گناه گاروں سے انتقام لیا۔ ہم پر مومنوں کی مدد کرنا لازم ہے.
اللَّهُ الَّذِي يُرْسِلُ الرِّيَاحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًا فَيَبْسُطُهُ فِي السَّمَاءِ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ وَيَجْعَلُهُ كِسَفًا فَتَرَى الْوَدْقَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَالِهِ ۖ فَإِذَا أَصَابَ بِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
English Translation:
Allah is He Who sends the winds, so they raise clouds, and spread them along the sky as He wills, and then break them into fragments, until you see rain drops come forth from their midst! Then when He has made them fall on whom of His slaves as He will, lo! they rejoice!
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ ہوائیں چلاتا ہے وه ابر کو اٹھاتی ہیں پھر اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی منشا کے مطابق اسے آسمان میں پھیلا دیتا ہے اور اس کے ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیتا ہے پھر آپ دیکھتے ہیں کہ اس کےاندر سے قطرے نکلتے ہیں، اور جنہیں اللہ چاہتا ہے ان بندوں پر پانی برساتا ہے تو وه خوش خوش ہو جاتے ہیں
وَإِن كَانُوا مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن قَبْلِهِ لَمُبْلِسِينَ
English Translation:
And verily before that (rain), just before it was sent down upon them, they were in despair!
اردو ترجمہ:
یقین ماننا کہ بارش ان پر برسنے سے پہلے پہلے تو وه ناامید ہو رہے تھے.
فَانظُرْ إِلَىٰ آثَارِ رَحْمَتِ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ يُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
English Translation:
Look then at the effects (results) of Allah's Mercy, how He revives the earth after its death. Verily! That (Allah) Who revived the earth after its death shall indeed raise the dead (on the Day of Resurrection), and He is Able to do all things.
اردو ترجمہ:
پس آپ رحمت الٰہی کے آﺛار دیکھیں کہ زمین کی موت کے بعد کس طرح اللہ تعالیٰ اسے زنده کر دیتا ہے؟ کچھ شک نہیں کہ وہی مردوں کو زنده کرنے والا ہے ، اور وه ہر ہر چیز پر قادر ہے.
وَلَئِنْ أَرْسَلْنَا رِيحًا فَرَأَوْهُ مُصْفَرًّا لَّظَلُّوا مِن بَعْدِهِ يَكْفُرُونَ
English Translation:
And if We send a wind [which would spoil the green growth (tilth) brought up by the previous rain], and they see (their tilth) turn yellow, behold, they then after their being glad, would become unthankful (to their Lord Allah as) disbelievers.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اگر ہم باد تند چلا دیں اور یہ لوگ انہی کھیتوں کو (مرجھائی ہوئی) زرد پڑی ہوئی دیکھ لیں تو پھر اس کے بعد ناشکری کرنے لگیں.
فَإِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَىٰ وَلَا تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَاءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ
English Translation:
So verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. the disbelievers, etc.), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they show their backs, turning away.
اردو ترجمہ:
بیشک آپ مردوں کو نہیں سنا سکتے اور نہ بہروں کو (اپنی) آواز سنا سکتے ہیں جب کہ وه پیٹھ پھیر کر مڑ گئے ہوں.
وَمَا أَنتَ بِهَادِ الْعُمْيِ عَن ضَلَالَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
English Translation:
And you (O Muhammad SAW) cannot guide the blind from their straying; you can make to hear only those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and have submitted to Allah in Islam (as Muslims).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور نہ آپ اندھوں کو ان کی گمراہی سے ہدایت کرنے والے ہیں آپ تو صرف ان ہی لوگوں کو سناتے ہیں جو ہماری آیتوں پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں پس وہی اطاعت کرنے والے ہیں.
۞ اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن ضَعْفٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعْدِ ضَعْفٍ قُوَّةً ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ ضَعْفًا وَشَيْبَةً ۚ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۖ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْقَدِيرُ
English Translation:
Allah is He Who created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strength gave (you) weakness and grey hair. He creates what He wills. And it is He Who is the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful (i.e. Able to do all things).
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ وه ہے جس نے تمہیں کمزوری کی حالت میں پیدا کیا پھر اس کمزوری کے بعد توانائی دی، پھر اس توانائی کے بعد کمزوری اور بڑھاپا دیا جو چاہتا ہے پیدا کرتا ہے، وه سب سے پورا واقف اور سب پر پورا قادر ہے.
وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يُقْسِمُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُوا غَيْرَ سَاعَةٍ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَانُوا يُؤْفَكُونَ
English Translation:
And on the Day that the Hour will be established, the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) will swear that they stayed not but an hour, thus were they ever deluded [away from the truth (i.e. they used to tell lies and take false oaths, and turn away from the truth) in this life of the world)].
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جس دن قیامت برپا ہو جائے گی گناه گار لوگ قسمیں کھائیں گے کہ (دنیا میں) ایک گھڑی کے سوا نہیں ٹھہرے، اسی طرح یہ بہکے ہوئے ہی رہے.
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ وَالْإِيمَانَ لَقَدْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْبَعْثِ ۖ فَهَـٰذَا يَوْمُ الْبَعْثِ وَلَـٰكِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
And those who have been bestowed with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed you have stayed according to the Decree of Allah, until the Day of Resurrection, so this is the Day of Resurrection, but you knew not."
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جن لوگوں کو علم اور ایمان دیا گیا وه جواب دیں گے کہ تم تو جیسا کہ کتاب اللہ میں ہے یوم قیامت تک ٹھہرے رہے۔ آج کا یہ دن قیامت ہی کا دن ہے لیکن تم تو یقین ہی نہیں مانتے تھے.
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يَنفَعُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ
English Translation:
So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail those who did wrong (by associating partners in worship with Allah, and by denying the Day of Resurrection), nor will they be allowed (then) to return to seek Allah's Pleasure (by having Islamic Faith with righteous deeds and by giving up polytheism, sins and crimes with repentance).
اردو ترجمہ:
پس اس دن ظالموں کو ان کا عذر بہانہ کچھ کام نہ آئے گا اور نہ ان سے توبہ اور عمل طلب کیا جائے گا.
وَلَقَدْ ضَرَبْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَـٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ ۚ وَلَئِن جِئْتَهُم بِآيَةٍ لَّيَقُولَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا مُبْطِلُونَ
English Translation:
And indeed We have set forth for mankind, in this Quran every kind of parable. But if you (O Muhammad SAW) bring to them any sign or proof, (as an evidence for the truth of your Prophethood), the disbelievers are sure to say (to the believers): "You follow nothing but falsehood, and magic."
اردو ترجمہ:
بیشک ہم نےاس قرآن میں لوگوں کے سامنے کل مثالیں بیان کر دی ہیں ۔ آپ ان کے پاس کوئی بھی نشانی لائیں، یہ کافر تو یہی کہیں گے کہ تم (بے ہوده گو) بالکل جھوٹے ہو.
كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
Thus does Allah seal up the hearts of those who know not [the proofs and evidence of the Oneness of Allah i.e. those who try not to understand true facts that which you (Muhammad SAW) have brought to them].
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ ان لوگوں کے دلوں پر جو سمجھ نہیں رکھتے یوں ہی مہر کر دیتا ہے.
فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُوقِنُونَ
English Translation:
So be patient (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, the Promise of Allah is true, and let not those who have no certainty of faith, discourage you from conveying Allah's Message (which you are obliged to convey)
اردو ترجمہ:
پس آپ صبر کریں یقیناً اللہ کا وعده سچا ہے۔ آپ کو وه لوگ ہلکا (بے صبرا) نہ کریں جویقین نہیں رکھتے.
