الم
English Translation:
Alif-Lam-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.]
اردو ترجمہ:
الم.
أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوا أَن يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ
English Translation:
Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: "We believe," and will not be tested.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا لوگوں نے یہ گمان کر رکھا ہے کہ ان کے صرف اس دعوے پر کہ ہم ایمان لائے ہیں ہم انہیں بغیر آزمائے ہوئے ہی چھوڑ دیں گے؟.
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْكَاذِبِينَ
English Translation:
And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allah will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars, (although Allah knows all that before putting them to test).
اردو ترجمہ:
ان سے اگلوں کو بھی ہم نے خوب جانچا ۔ یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں بھی جان لے گا جو سچ کہتے ہیں اور انہیں بھی معلوم کرلے گا جو جھوٹے ہیں.
أَمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ أَن يَسْبِقُونَا ۚ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ
English Translation:
Or those who do evil deeds think that they can outstrip Us (i.e. escape Our Punishment)? Evil is that which they judge!
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا جو لوگ برائیاں کر رہے ہیں انہوں نے یہ سمجھ رکھا ہے کہ وه ہمارے قابو سے باہر ہو جائیں گے ، یہ لوگ کیسی بری تجویزیں کر رہے ہیں.
مَن كَانَ يَرْجُو لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ أَجَلَ اللَّهِ لَآتٍ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
English Translation:
Whoever hopes for the Meeting with Allah, then Allah's Term is surely coming. and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
اردو ترجمہ:
جسے اللہ کی ملاقات کی امید ہو پس اللہ کا ٹھہرایا ہوا وقت یقیناً آنے والا ہے ، وه سب کچھ سننے والا، سب کچھ جاننے والا ہے.
وَمَن جَاهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَاهِدُ لِنَفْسِهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ
English Translation:
And whosoever strives, he strives only for himself. Verily, Allah is free of all wants from the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ہر ایک کوشش کرنے والا اپنے ہی بھلے کی کوشش کرتا ہے۔ ویسے تو اللہ تعالیٰ تمام جہان والوں سے بےنیاز ہے.
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَحْسَنَ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
English Translation:
Those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah (Monotheism) and in Messenger Muhammad SAW, and do not apostate because of the harm they receive from the polytheists], and do righteous good deeds, surely, We shall remit from them their evil deeds and shall reward them according to the best of that which they used to do.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جن لوگوں نے یقین کیا اور مطابق سنت کام کیے ہم ان کے تمام گناہوں کو ان سے دور کر دیں گے اور انہیں ان کے نیک اعمال کے بہترین بدلے دیں گے.
وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا ۖ وَإِن جَاهَدَاكَ لِتُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا ۚ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
English Translation:
And We have enjoined on man to be good and dutiful to his parents, but if they strive to make you join with Me (in worship) anything (as a partner) of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not. Unto Me is your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do.
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم نے ہر انسان کو اپنے ماں باپ کے ساتھ اچھا سلوک کرنے کی نصیحت کی ہے ہاں اگر وه یہ کوشش کریں کہ آپ میرے ساتھ اسے شریک کرلیں جس کا آپ کو علم نہیں تو ان کا کہنا نہ مانیئے، تم سب کا لوٹنا میری ہی طرف ہے پھر میں ہر اس چیز سے جو تم کرتے تھے تمہیں خبر دوں گا.
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ فِي الصَّالِحِينَ
English Translation:
And for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah and other items of Faith) and do righteous good deeds, surely, We shall make them enter in (the enterance of) the righteous (i.e. in Paradise).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جن لوگوں نے ایمان قبول کیا اور نیک کام کیے انہیں میں اپنے نیک بندوں میں شمار کر لوں گا.
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ فَإِذَا أُوذِيَ فِي اللَّهِ جَعَلَ فِتْنَةَ النَّاسِ كَعَذَابِ اللَّهِ وَلَئِن جَاءَ نَصْرٌ مِّن رَّبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّا كُنَّا مَعَكُمْ ۚ أَوَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَعْلَمَ بِمَا فِي صُدُورِ الْعَالَمِينَ
English Translation:
Of mankind are some who say: "We believe in Allah," but if they are made to suffer for the sake of Allah, they consider the trial of mankind as Allah's punishment, and if victory comes from your Lord, (the hypocrites) will say: "Verily! We were with you (helping you)." Is not Allah Best Aware of what is in the breast of the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور بعض لوگ ایسے بھی ہیں جو زبانی کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ایمان لائے ہیں لیکن جب اللہ کی راه میں کوئی مشکل آن پڑتی ہے تو لوگوں کی ایذا دہی کو اللہ تعالیٰ کے عذاب کی طرح بنا لیتے ہیں ، ہاں اگر اللہ کی مدد آجائے تو پکار اٹھتے ہیں کہ ہم تو تمہارے ساتھی ہی ہیں کیا دنیا جہان کے سینوں میں جو کچھ ہے اس سے اللہ تعالیٰ دانا نہیں ہے؟
وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ
English Translation:
Verily, Allah knows those who believe, and verily, He knows the hypocrites [i.e. Allah will test the people with good and hard days to discriminate the good from the wicked (although Allah knows all that before putting them to test)].
اردو ترجمہ:
جو لوگ ایمان لائے اللہ انہیں بھی ظاہر کرکے رہے گا اور منافقوں کو بھی ظاہر کرکے رہے گا.
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّبِعُوا سَبِيلَنَا وَلْنَحْمِلْ خَطَايَاكُمْ وَمَا هُم بِحَامِلِينَ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُم مِّن شَيْءٍ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ
English Translation:
And those who disbelieve say to those who believe: "Follow our way and we will verily bear your sins," never will they bear anything of their sins. Surely, they are liars.
اردو ترجمہ:
کافروں نے ایماں والوں سے کہا کہ تم ہماری راه کی تابعداری کرو تمہارے گناه ہم اٹھا لیں گے ، حالانکہ وه ان کے گناہوں میں سے کچھ بھی نہیں اٹھانے والے، یہ تو محض جھوٹے ہیں.
وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ أَثْقَالَهُمْ وَأَثْقَالًا مَّعَ أَثْقَالِهِمْ ۖ وَلَيُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَمَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ
English Translation:
And verily, they shall bear their own loads, and other loads besides their own, and verily, they shall be questioned on the Day of Resurrection about that which they used to fabricate.
اردو ترجمہ:
البتہ یہ اپنے بوجھ ڈھولیں گے اور اپنے بوجھوں کے ساتھ ہی اور بوجھ بھی ۔ اور جو کچھ افترا پردازیاں کر رہے ہیں ان سب کی بابت ان سے باز پرس کی جائے گی.
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمْ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمْسِينَ عَامًا فَأَخَذَهُمُ الطُّوفَانُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ
English Translation:
And indeed We sent Nuh (Noah) to his people, and he stayed among them a thousand years less fifty years [inviting them to believe in the Oneness of Allah (Monotheism), and discard the false gods and other deities], and the Deluge overtook them while they were Zalimun (wrong-doers, polytheists, disbelievers, etc.).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ہم نے نوح (علیہ السلام) کو ان کی قوم کی طرف بھیجا وه ان میں ساڑھے نو سو سال تک رہے ، پھر تو انہیں طوفان نے دھر پکڑا اور وه تھے بھی ظالم.
فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَأَصْحَابَ السَّفِينَةِ وَجَعَلْنَاهَا آيَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
English Translation:
Then We saved him and those with him in the ship, and made it (the ship) as an Ayah (a lesson, a warning, etc.) for the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر ہم نے انہیں اور کشتی والوں کو نجات دی اور اس واقعہ کو ہم نے تمام جہان کے لیے عبرت کا نشان بنا دیا.
وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاتَّقُوهُ ۖ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
And (remember) Ibrahim (Abraham) when he said to his people: "Worship Allah (Alone), and fear Him, that is better for you if you did but know.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) نے بھی اپنی قوم سے فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی عبادت کرو اوراس سے ڈرتے رہو، اگر تم میں دانائی ہے تو یہی تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے.
إِنَّمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَانًا وَتَخْلُقُونَ إِفْكًا ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ لَكُمْ رِزْقًا فَابْتَغُوا عِندَ اللَّهِ الرِّزْقَ وَاعْبُدُوهُ وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُ ۖ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
English Translation:
"You worship besides Allah only idols, and you only invent falsehood. Verily, those whom you worship besides Allah have no power to give you provision, so seek your provision from Allah (Alone), and worship Him (Alone), and be grateful to Him. To Him (Alone) you will be brought back.
اردو ترجمہ:
تم تو اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا بتوں کی پوجا پاٹ کر رہے ہو اور جھوٹی باتیں دل سے گھڑ لیتے ہو ۔ سنو! جن جنکی تم اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا پوجا پاٹ کر رہے ہو وه تو تمہاری روزی کے مالک نہیں پس تمہیں چاہئے کہ تم اللہ تعالیٰ ہی سے روزیاں طلب کرو اور اسی کی عبادت کرو اور اسی کی شکر گزاری کرو اور اسی کی طرف تم لوٹائے جاؤ گے.
وَإِن تُكَذِّبُوا فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أُمَمٌ مِّن قَبْلِكُمْ ۖ وَمَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ
English Translation:
"And if you deny, then nations before you have denied (their Messengers). And the duty of the Messenger is only to convey (the Message) plainly."
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اگر تم جھٹلاؤ تو تم سے پہلے کی امتوں نے بھی جھٹلایا ہے ، رسول کے ذمہ تو صرف صاف طور پر پہنچا دینا ہی ہے.
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَيْفَ يُبْدِئُ اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ
English Translation:
See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it. Verily, that is easy for Allah.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ مخلوق کی ابتدا کس طرح اللہ نے کی پھر اللہ اس کا اعاده کرے گا ، یہ تو اللہ تعالیٰ پر بہت ہی آسان ہے.
قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانظُرُوا كَيْفَ بَدَأَ الْخَلْقَ ۚ ثُمَّ اللَّهُ يُنشِئُ النَّشْأَةَ الْآخِرَةَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
English Translation:
Say: "Travel in the land and see how (Allah) originated creation, and then Allah will bring forth (resurrect) the creation of the Hereafter (i.e. resurrection after death). Verily, Allah is Able to do all things."
اردو ترجمہ:
کہہ دیجئے! کہ زمین میں چل پھر کر دیکھو تو سہی کہ کس طرح اللہ تعالیٰ نے ابتداءً پیدائش کی۔ پھر اللہ تعالیٰ ہی دوسری نئی پیدائش کرے گا، اللہ تعالیٰ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے.
يُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَرْحَمُ مَن يَشَاءُ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ تُقْلَبُونَ
English Translation:
He punishes whom He will, and shows mercy to whom He will, and to Him you will be returned.
اردو ترجمہ:
جسے چاہے عذاب کرے جس پر چاہے رحم کرے، سب اسی کی طرف لوٹائے جاؤ گے.
وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ ۖ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
English Translation:
And you cannot escape in the earth or in the heaven. And besides Allah you have neither any Wali (Protector or Guardian) nor any Helper.
اردو ترجمہ:
تم نہ تو زمین میں اللہ تعالیٰ کو عاجز کرسکتے ہو نہ آسمان میں، اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا تمہارا کوئی والی ہے نہ مددگار.
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَلِقَائِهِ أُولَـٰئِكَ يَئِسُوا مِن رَّحْمَتِي وَأُولَـٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
English Translation:
And those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and the Meeting with Him, it is they who have no hope of My Mercy, and it is they who will (have) a painful torment.
اردو ترجمہ:
جو لوگ اللہ تعالیٰ کی آیتوں اور اس کی ملاقات کو بھلاتے ہیں وه میری رحمت سے ناامید ہو جائیں اور ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے.
فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا اقْتُلُوهُ أَوْ حَرِّقُوهُ فَأَنجَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
English Translation:
So nothing was the answer of [Ibrahim's (Abraham)] people except that they said: "Kill him or burn him." Then Allah saved him from the fire. Verily, in this are indeed signs for a people who believe.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان کی قوم کا جواب بجز اس کے کچھ نہ تھا کہ کہنے لگے کہ اسے مار ڈالو یا اسے جلا دو ۔ آخر اللہ نے انہیں آگ سے بچا لیا، اس میں ایمان والے لوگوں کے لیے تو بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں.
وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا اتَّخَذْتُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَانًا مَّوَدَّةَ بَيْنِكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُ بَعْضُكُم بِبَعْضٍ وَيَلْعَنُ بَعْضُكُم بَعْضًا وَمَأْوَاكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ
English Translation:
And [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "You have taken (for worship) idols instead of Allah, and the love between you is only in the life of this world, but on the Day of Resurrection, you shall disown each other, and curse each other, and your abode will be the Fire, and you shall have no helper."
اردو ترجمہ:
(حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے) کہا کہ تم نے جن بتوں کی پرستش اللہ کے سوا کی ہے انہیں تم نے اپنی آپس کی دنیوی دوستی کی بنا ٹھہرا لی ہے ، تم سب قیامت کے دن ایک دوسرے سے کفر کرنے لگو گے اور ایک دوسرے پر لعنت کرنے لگو گے۔ اور تمہارا سب کا ٹھکانہ دوزخ ہوگا اور تمہارا کوئی مددگار نہ ہوگا.
۞ فَآمَنَ لَهُ لُوطٌ ۘ وَقَالَ إِنِّي مُهَاجِرٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
English Translation:
So Lout (Lot) believed in him [Ibrahim's (Abraham) Message of Islamic Monotheism]. He [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "I will emigrate for the sake of my Lord. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise."
اردو ترجمہ:
پس حضرت ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) پر حضرت لوط (علیہ السلام) ایمان لائے اور کہنے لگے کہ میں اپنے رب کی طرف ہجرت کرنے والا ہوں۔ وه بڑا ہی غالب اور حکیم ہے.
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِ النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتَابَ وَآتَيْنَاهُ أَجْرَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
English Translation:
And We bestowed on him [Ibrahim (Abraham)], Ishaque (Isaac) and Ya'qub (Jacob), and ordained among his offspring Prophethood and the Book [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) (to Musa - Moses), the Injeel (Gospel) (to 'Iesa - Jesus), the Quran (to Muhammad SAW), all from the offspring of Ibrahim (Abraham)], and We granted him his reward in this world, and verily, in the Hereafter he is indeed among the righteous.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ہم نے انھیں (ابراہیم کو) اسحاق ویعقوب (علیہما السلام) عطا کیے اور ہم نے نبوت اور کتاب ان کی اولاد میں ہی کر دی اور ہم نے دنیا میں بھی اسے ﺛواب دیااور آخرت میں تو وه صالح لوگوں میں سے ہیں.
وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِّنَ الْعَالَمِينَ
English Translation:
And (remember) Lout (Lot), when he said to his people: "You commit Al-Fahishah (sodomy the worst sin) which none has preceded you in (committing) it in the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns)."
اردو ترجمہ:
اور حضرت لوط (علیہ السلام) کا بھی ذکر کرو جب کہ انہوں نے اپنی قوم سے فرمایا کہ تم تو اس بدکاری پر اتر آئے ہو جسے تم سے پہلے دنیا بھر میں سے کسی نے نہیں کیا.
أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ وَتَقْطَعُونَ السَّبِيلَ وَتَأْتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ الْمُنكَرَ ۖ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا ائْتِنَا بِعَذَابِ اللَّهِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
English Translation:
"Verily, you do sodomy with men, and rob the wayfarer (travellers, etc.)! And practise Al-Munkar (disbelief and polytheism and every kind of evil wicked deed) in your meetings." But his people gave no answer except, that they said: "Bring Allah's Torment upon us if you are one of the truthful."
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا تم مردوں کے پاس بدفعلی کے لیے آتے ہو اور راستے بند کرتے ہو اور اپنی عام مجلسوں میں بے حیائیوں کا کام کرتے ہو؟ اس کے جواب میں اس کی قوم نے بجز اس کے اور کچھ نہیں کہا کہ بس جا اگر سچا ہے تو ہمارے پاس اللہ تعالیٰ کا عذاب لے آ.
قَالَ رَبِّ انصُرْنِي عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
English Translation:
He said: "My Lord! Give me victory over the people who are Mufsidun (those who commit great crimes and sins, oppressors, tyrants, mischief-makers, corrupts).
اردو ترجمہ:
حضرت لوط (علیہ السلام) نے دعا کی کہ پروردگار! اس مفسد قوم پر میری مدد فرما.
وَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ بِالْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوا إِنَّا مُهْلِكُو أَهْلِ هَـٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ ۖ إِنَّ أَهْلَهَا كَانُوا ظَالِمِينَ
English Translation:
And when Our Messengers came to Ibrahim (Abraham) with the glad tidings they said: "Verily, we are going to destroy the people of this [Lout's (Lot's)] town (i.e. the town of Sodom in Palestine) truly, its people have been Zalimun [wrong-doers, polytheists and disobedient to Allah, and have also belied their Messenger Lout (Lot)]."
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جب ہمارے بھیجے ہوئے فرشتے ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کے پاس بشارت لے کر پہنچے کہنے لگے کہ اس بستی والوں کو ہم ہلاک کرنے والے ہیں ، یقیناً یہاں کے رہنے والے گنہگار ہیں.
قَالَ إِنَّ فِيهَا لُوطًا ۚ قَالُوا نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن فِيهَا ۖ لَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
English Translation:
Ibrahim (Abraham) said: "But there is Lout (Lot) in it." They said:"We know better who is there, we will verily save him [Lout (Lot)] and his family, except his wife, she will be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed along with those who will be destroyed from her folk)."
اردو ترجمہ:
(حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے) کہا اس میں تو لوط (علیہ السلام) ہیں، فرشتوں نے کہا یہاں جو ہیں ہم انہیں بخوبی جانتے ہیں ۔ لوط (علیہ السلام) کو اور اس کے خاندان کو سوائے اس کی بیوی کے ہم بچالیں گے، البتہ وه عورت پیچھے ره جانے والوں میں سے ہے.
وَلَمَّا أَن جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطًا سِيءَ بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعًا وَقَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ ۖ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَكَ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
English Translation:
And when Our Messengers came to Lout (Lot), he was grieved because of them, and felt straitened on their account. They said: "Have no fear, and do not grieve! Truly, we shall save you and your family, except your wife, she will be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed along with those who will be destroyed from her folk).
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر جب ہمارے قاصد لوط (علیہ السلام) کے پاس پہنچے تو وه ان کی وجہ سے غمگین ہوئے اور دل ہی دل میں رنج کرنے لگے ۔ قاصدوں نے کہا آپ نہ خوف کھایئے نہ آزرده ہوں، ہم آپ کو مع آپ کے متعلقین کے بچالیں گے مگر آپ کی بیوی کہ وه عذاب کے لیے باقی ره جانے والوں میں سے ہوگی.
إِنَّا مُنزِلُونَ عَلَىٰ أَهْلِ هَـٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ رِجْزًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ
English Translation:
Verily, we are about to bring down on the people of this town a great torment from the sky, because they have been rebellious (against Allah's Command)."
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم اس بستی والوں پر آسمانی عذاب نازل کرنے والے ہیں اس وجہ سے کہ یہ بےحکم ہو رہے ہیں.
وَلَقَد تَّرَكْنَا مِنْهَا آيَةً بَيِّنَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
English Translation:
And indeed We have left thereof an evident Ayah (a lesson and a warning and a sign the place where the Dead Sea is now in Palestine) for a folk who understand.
اردو ترجمہ:
البتہ ہم نے اس بستی کو صریح عبرت کی نشانی بنا دیا ان لوگوں کے لیے جو عقل رکھتے ہیں.
وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَارْجُوا الْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ
English Translation:
And to (the people of) Madyan (Midian), We sent their brother Shu'aib (Shuaib). He said: "O my people! Worship Allah, and hope for (the reward of good deeds by worshipping Allah Alone, on) the last Day, and commit no mischief on the earth as Mufsidun (those who commit great crimes, oppressors, tyrants, mischief-makers, corrupts).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور مدین کی طرف ہم نے ان کے بھائی شعیب (علیہ السلام) کو بھیجا انہوں نے کہا اے میری قوم کے لوگو! اللہ کی عبادت کرو قیامت کے دن کی توقع رکھو اور زمین میں فساد نہ کرتے پھرو.
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ
English Translation:
And they belied him [Shu'aib (Shuaib)], so the earthquake seized them, and they lay (dead), prostrate in their dwellings.
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر بھی انہوں نے انہیں جھٹلایا آخر انہیں زلزلے نے پکڑ لیا اور وه اپنے گھروں میں بیٹھے کے بیٹھے مرده ہو کر ره گئے.
وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَ وَقَد تَّبَيَّنَ لَكُم مِّن مَّسَاكِنِهِمْ ۖ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَكَانُوا مُسْتَبْصِرِينَ
English Translation:
And 'Ad and Thamud (people)! And indeed (their destruction) is clearly apparent to you from their (ruined) dwellings. Shaitan (Satan) made their deeds fair-seeming to them, and turned them away from the (Right) Path, though they were intelligent.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ہم نے عادیوں اور ﺛمودیوں کو بھی غارت کیا جن کے بعض مکانات تمہارے سامنے ظاہر ہیں اور شیطان نے انہیں ان کی بداعمالیاں آراستہ کر دکھائی تھیں اور انہیں راه سے روک دیا تھا باوجودیکہ یہ آنکھوں والے اور ہوشیار تھے.
وَقَارُونَ وَفِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ ۖ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُم مُّوسَىٰ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا كَانُوا سَابِقِينَ
English Translation:
And (We destroyed also) Qarun (Korah), Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and Haman. And indeed Musa (Moses) came to them with clear Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but they were arrogant in the land, yet they could not outstrip Us (escape Our punishment).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور قارون اور فرعون اور ہامان کو بھی، ان کے پاس حضرت موسیٰ (علیہ السلام) کھلے کھلے معجزے لے کر آئے تھے پھر بھی انہوں نے زمین میں تکبر کیا لیکن ہم سے آگے بڑھنے والے نہ ہو سکے.
فَكُلًّا أَخَذْنَا بِذَنبِهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ حَاصِبًا وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ أَخَذَتْهُ الصَّيْحَةُ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ خَسَفْنَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ أَغْرَقْنَا ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
English Translation:
So We punished each (of them) for his sins, of them were some on whom We sent Hasiban (a violent wind with shower of stones) [as the people of Lout (Lot)], and of them were some who were overtaken by As-Saihah [torment - awful cry, etc. (as Thamud or Shu'aib's people)], and of them were some whom We caused the earth to swallow [as Qarun (Korah)], and of them were some whom We drowned [as the people of Nuh (Noah), or Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his people]. It was not Allah Who wronged them, but they wronged themselves.
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر تو ہر ایک کو ہم نے اس کے گناه کے وبال میں گرفتار کر لیا ، ان میں سے بعض پر ہم نے پتھروں کا مینہ برسایا اور ان میں سے بعض کو زور دار سخت آواز نے دبوچ لیا اور ان میں سے بعض کو ہم نے زمین میں دھنسا دیا اور ان میں سے بعض کو ہم نے ڈبو دیا، اللہ تعالیٰ ایسا نہیں کہ ان پر ظلم کرے بلکہ یہی لوگ اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے تھے.
مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ كَمَثَلِ الْعَنكَبُوتِ اتَّخَذَتْ بَيْتًا ۖ وَإِنَّ أَوْهَنَ الْبُيُوتِ لَبَيْتُ الْعَنكَبُوتِ ۖ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
The likeness of those who take Auliya' (protectors and helpers) other than Allah is as the likeness of a spider, who builds (for itself) a house, but verily, the frailest (weakest) of houses is the spider's house; if they but knew.
اردو ترجمہ:
جن لوگوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا اور کارساز مقرر کر رکھے ہیں ان کی مثال مکڑی کی سی ہے کہ وه بھی ایک گھر بنا لیتی ہے، حالانکہ تمام گھروں سے زیاده بودا گھر مکڑی کا گھر ہی ہے ، کاش! وه جان لیتے.
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ مِن شَيْءٍ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
English Translation:
Verily, Allah knows what things they invoke instead of Him. He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ ان تمام چیزوں کو جانتا ہے جنہیں وه اس کے سوا پکار رہے ہیں، وه زبردست اور ذی حکمت ہے
وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ ۖ وَمَا يَعْقِلُهَا إِلَّا الْعَالِمُونَ
English Translation:
And these similitudes We put forward for mankind, but none will understand them except those who have knowledge (of Allah and His Signs, etc.).
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم ان مثالوں کو لوگوں کے لیے بیان فرما رہے ہیں انہیں صرف علم والے ہی سمجھتے ہیں.
خَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
English Translation:
(Allah says to His Prophet Muhammad SAW): "Allah (Alone) created the heavens and the earth with truth (and none shared Him in their creation)." Verily! Therein is surely a sign for those who believe.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو مصلحت اور حق کے ساتھ پیدا کیا ہے ، ایمان والوں کے لیے تو اس میں بڑی بھاری دلیل ہے.
اتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ ۖ إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ تَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنكَرِ ۗ وَلَذِكْرُ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَصْنَعُونَ
English Translation:
Recite (O Muhammad SAW) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Quran), and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat). Verily, As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.) and the remembering (praising, etc.) of (you by) Allah (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising, etc.) Allah in prayers, etc.]. And Allah knows what you do.
اردو ترجمہ:
جو کتاب آپ کی طرف وحی کی گئی ہے اسے پڑھئے اور نماز قائم کریں، یقیناً نماز بے حیائی اور برائی سے روکتی ہے، بیشک اللہ کا ذکر بہت بڑی چیز ہے، تم جو کچھ کر رہے ہو اس سے اللہ خبردار ہے.
۞ وَلَا تُجَادِلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَقُولُوا آمَنَّا بِالَّذِي أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَأُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَإِلَـٰهُنَا وَإِلَـٰهُكُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ
English Translation:
And argue not with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better (with good words and in good manner, inviting them to Islamic Monotheism with His Verses), except with such of them as do wrong, and say (to them): "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you; our Ilah (God) and your Ilah (God) is One (i.e. Allah), and to Him we have submitted (as Muslims)."
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اہل کتاب کے ساتھ بحﺚ ومباحثہ نہ کرو مگر اس طریقہ پر جو عمده ہو مگر ان کے ساتھ جو ان میں ظالم ہیں اور صاف اعلان کر دو کہ ہمارا تو اس کتاب پر بھی ایمان ہے اور جو ہم پر اتاری گئی ہے اور اس پر بھی جو تم پر اتاری گئی، ہمارا تمہارا معبود ایک ہی ہے۔ ہم سب اسی کے حکم برادر ہیں.
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ ۚ فَالَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ ۖ وَمِنْ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ ۚ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَّا الْكَافِرُونَ
English Translation:
And thus We have sent down the Book (i.e. this Quran) to you (O Muhammad SAW), and those whom We gave the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) aforetime] believe therein as also do some of these (who are present with you now like 'Abdullah bin Salam) and none but the disbelievers reject Our Ayat [(proofs, signs, verses, lessons, etc., and deny Our Oneness of Lordship and Our Oneness of worship and Our Oneness of Our Names and Qualities: i.e. Islamic Monotheism)].
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ہم نے اسی طرح آپ کی طرف اپنی کتاب نازل فرمائی ہے، پس جنہیں ہم نے کتاب دی ہے وه اس پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور ان (مشرکین) میں سے بعض اس پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور ہماری آیتوں کا انکار صرف کافر ہی کرتے ہیں.
وَمَا كُنتَ تَتْلُو مِن قَبْلِهِ مِن كِتَابٍ وَلَا تَخُطُّهُ بِيَمِينِكَ ۖ إِذًا لَّارْتَابَ الْمُبْطِلُونَ
English Translation:
Neither did you (O Muhammad SAW) read any book before it (this Quran), nor did you write any book (whatsoever) with your right hand. In that case, indeed, the followers of falsehood might have doubted.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس سے پہلے تو آپ کوئی کتاب پڑھتے نہ تھے اور نہ کسی کتاب کو اپنے ہاتھ سے لکھتے تھے کہ یہ باطل پرست لوگ شک وشبہ میں پڑتے.
بَلْ هُوَ آيَاتٌ بَيِّنَاتٌ فِي صُدُورِ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ ۚ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَّا الظَّالِمُونَ
English Translation:
Nay, but they, the clear Ayat [i.e. the description and the qualities of Prophet Muhammad SAW written like verses in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] are preserved in the breasts of those who have been given knowledge (from the people of the Scriptures). And none but the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) deny Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.).
اردو ترجمہ:
بلکہ یہ (قرآن) تو روشن آیتیں ہیں جو اہل علم کے سینوں میں محفوظ ہیں ، ہماری آیتوں کا منکر بجز ظالموں کے اور کوئی نہیں.
وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا الْآيَاتُ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَا أَنَا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
English Translation:
And they say: "Why are not signs sent down to him from his Lord? Say: "The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner."
اردو ترجمہ:
انہوں نے کہا کہ اس پر کچھ نشانیاں (معجزات) اس کے رب کی طرف سے کیوں نہیں اتارے گئے۔ آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ نشانیاں تو سب اللہ تعالیٰ کے پاس ہیں میں تو صرف کھلم کھلا آگاه کر دینے والا ہوں.
أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ أَنَّا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَرَحْمَةً وَذِكْرَىٰ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
English Translation:
Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book (the Quran) which is recited to them? Verily, herein is mercy and a reminder (or an admonition) for a people who believe.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا انہیں یہ کافی نہیں؟ کہ ہم نے آپ پر کتاب نازل فرما دی جو ان پر پڑھی جا رہی ہے ، اس میں رحمت (بھی) ہے اور نصیحت (بھی) ہے ان لوگوں کے لئے جو ایمان والے ہیں.
قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ شَهِيدًا ۖ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ وَكَفَرُوا بِاللَّهِ أُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ
English Translation:
Say (to them O Muhammad SAW): "Sufficient is Allah for a witness between me and you. He knows what is in the heavens and on earth." And those who believe in Batil (all false deities other than Allah), and disbelieve in Allah and (in His Oneness), it is they who are the losers.
اردو ترجمہ:
کہہ دیجئے کہ مجھ میں اور تم میں اللہ تعالیٰ گواه ہونا کافی ہے وه آسمان وزمین کی ہر چیز کا عالم ہے، جو لوگ باطل کے ماننے والے اور اللہ تعالیٰ سے کفر کرنے والے ہیں وه زبردست نقصان اور گھاٹے میں ہیں.
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ ۚ وَلَوْلَا أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَّجَاءَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
English Translation:
And they ask you to hasten on the torment (for them), and had it not been for a term appointed, the torment would certainly have come to them. And surely, it will come upon them suddenly while they perceive not!
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ لوگ آپ سے عذاب کی جلدی کر رہے ہیں ۔ اگر میری طرف سے مقرر کیا ہوا وقت نہ ہوتا تو ابھی تک ان کے پاس عذاب آچکا ہوتا، یہ یقینی بات ہے کہ اچانک ان کی بے خبری میں ان کے پاس عذاب آپہنچے گا.
يَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌ بِالْكَافِرِينَ
English Translation:
They ask you to hasten on the torment. And verily! Hell, of a surety, will encompass the disbelievers.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ عذاب کی جلدی مچا رہے ہیں اور (تسلی رکھیں) جہنم کافروں کو گھیر لینے والی ہے.
يَوْمَ يَغْشَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِمْ وَيَقُولُ ذُوقُوا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
English Translation:
On the Day when the torment (Hell-fire) shall cover them from above them and from underneath their feet, and it will be said: "Taste what you used to do."
اردو ترجمہ:
اس دن ان کے اوپر تلے سے عذاب ڈھانﭗ رہا ہوگا اور اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا کہ اب اپنے (بد) اعمال کا مزه چکھو.
يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ أَرْضِي وَاسِعَةٌ فَإِيَّايَ فَاعْبُدُونِ
English Translation:
O My slaves who believe! Certainly, spacious is My earth. Therefore worship Me (Alone)."
اردو ترجمہ:
اے میرے ایمان والے بندو! میری زمین بہت کشاده ہے سو تم میری ہی عبادت کرو.
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ
English Translation:
Everyone shall taste the death. Then unto Us you shall be returned.
اردو ترجمہ:
ہر جاندار موت کا مزه چکھنے والا ہےاور تم سب ہماری ہی طرف لوٹائے جاؤ گے.
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِّنَ الْجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ نِعْمَ أَجْرُ الْعَامِلِينَ
English Translation:
And those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, to them We shall surely give lofty dwellings in Paradise, underneath which rivers flow, to live therein forever. Excellent is the reward of the workers.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جولوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک کام کیے انہیں ہم یقیناً جنت کے ان بالا خانوں میں جگہ دینگے جن کے نیچے چشمے بہہ رہے ہیں جہاں وه ہمیشہ رہیں گے، کام کرنے والوں کا کیا ہی اچھا اجر ہے.
الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
English Translation:
Those who are patient, and put their trust (only) in their Lord (Allah).
اردو ترجمہ:
وه جنہوں نے صبر کیا ، اور اپنے رب تعالیٰ پر بھروسہ رکھتے ہیں.
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن دَابَّةٍ لَّا تَحْمِلُ رِزْقَهَا اللَّهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
English Translation:
And so many a moving (living) creature there is, that carries not its own provision! Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور بہت سے جانور ہیں جو اپنی روزی اٹھائے نہیں پھرتے، ان سب کو اور تمہیں بھی اللہ تعالیٰ ہی روزی دیتا ہے، وه بڑا ہی سننے جاننے والا ہے.
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
English Translation:
If you were to ask them: "Who has created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon?" They will surely reply: "Allah." How then are they deviating (as polytheists and disbelievers)?
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اگر آپ ان سے دریافت کریں کہ زمین وآسمان کا خالق اور سورج چاند کو کام میں لگانے والا کون ہے؟ تو ان کا جواب یہی ہوگا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ، پھر کدھر الٹے جا رہے ہیں.
اللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
English Translation:
Allah enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and straitens it for whom (He wills). Verily, Allah is the All-Knower of everything.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندوں میں سے جسے چاہے فراخ روزی دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہے تنگ ۔ یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ ہر چیز کا جاننے والا ہے.
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّن نَّزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ مِن بَعْدِ مَوْتِهَا لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۚ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
English Translation:
If you were to ask them: "Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death?" They will surely reply: "Allah." Say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah!" Nay! Most of them have no sense.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اگر آپ ان سے سوال کریں کہ آسمان سے پانی اتار کر زمین کو اس کی موت کے بعد زنده کس نے کیا؟ تو یقیناً ان کا جواب یہی ہوگا اللہ تعالیٰ نے۔ آپ کہہ دیں کہ ہر تعریف اللہ ہی کے لئے سزاوار ہے، بلکہ ان میں سے اکثر بے عقل ہیں.
وَمَا هَـٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَهْوٌ وَلَعِبٌ ۚ وَإِنَّ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ لَهِيَ الْحَيَوَانُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
And this life of the world is only amusement and play! Verily, the home of the Hereafter, that is the life indeed (i.e. the eternal life that will never end), if they but knew
اردو ترجمہ:
اور دنیا کی یہ زندگانی تو محض کھیل تماشا ہے البتہ آخرت کے گھر کی زندگی ہی حقیقی زندگی ہے، کاش! یہ جانتے ہوتے.
فَإِذَا رَكِبُوا فِي الْفُلْكِ دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاهُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ إِذَا هُمْ يُشْرِكُونَ
English Translation:
And when they embark on a ship, they invoke Allah, making their Faith pure for Him only, but when He brings them safely to land, behold, they give a share of their worship to others.
اردو ترجمہ:
پس یہ لوگ جب کشتیوں میں سوار ہوتے ہیں تو اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کو پکارتے ہیں اس کے لئے عبادت کو خالص کر کے پھر جب وه انہیں خشکی کی طرف بچا لاتا ہے تو اسی وقت شرک کرنے لگتے ہیں.
لِيَكْفُرُوا بِمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
So that they become ingrate for that which We have given them, and that they take their enjoyment (as a warning and a threat), but they will come to know.
اردو ترجمہ:
تاکہ ہماری دی ہوئی نعمتوں سے مکرتے رہیں اور برتتے رہیں ۔ ابھی ابھی پتہ چل جائے گا.
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا حَرَمًا آمِنًا وَيُتَخَطَّفُ النَّاسُ مِنْ حَوْلِهِمْ ۚ أَفَبِالْبَاطِلِ يُؤْمِنُونَ وَبِنِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ يَكْفُرُونَ
English Translation:
Have they not seen that We have made (Makkah) a sanctuary secure, and that men are being snatched away from all around them? Then do they believe in Batil (falsehood - polytheism, idols and all deities other than Allah), and deny (become ingrate for) the Graces of Allah?
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا یہ نہیں دیکھتے کہ ہم نے حرم کو با امن بنا دیا ہے حالانکہ ان کے اردگرد سے لوگ اچک لیے جاتے ہیں ، کیا یہ باطل پر تو یقین رکھتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی نعمتوں پر ناشکری کرتے ہیں.
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُ ۚ أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْكَافِرِينَ
English Translation:
And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or denies the truth (Muhammad SAW and his doctrine of Islamic Monotheism and this Quran), when it comes to him? Is there not a dwelling in Hell for disbelievers (in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger Muhammad SAW)?
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اس سے بڑا ظالم کون ہوگا؟ جو اللہ تعالیٰ پر جھوٹ باندھے یا جب حق اس کے پاس آجائے وه اسے جھٹلائے، کیا ایسے کافروں کا ٹھکانا جہنم میں نہ ہوگا؟
وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
English Translation:
As for those who strive hard in Us (Our Cause), We will surely guide them to Our Paths (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism). And verily, Allah is with the Muhsinun (good doers)."
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جو لوگ ہماری راه میں مشقتیں برداشت کرتے ہیں ہم انہیں اپنی راہیں ضرور دکھا دیں گے۔ یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ نیکو کاروں کا ساتھی ہے.
