Az-Zumar - الزمر (Surah 39)

تَنزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ
English Translation:
The revelation of this Book (the Quran) is from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس کتاب کا اتارنا اللہ تعالیٰ غالب باحکمت کی طرف سے ہے.
إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ فَاعْبُدِ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا لَّهُ الدِّينَ
English Translation:
Verily, We have sent down the Book to you (O Muhammad SAW) in truth: So worship Allah (Alone) by doing religious deeds sincerely for Allah's sake only, (and not to show-off, and not to set up rivals with Him in worship).
اردو ترجمہ:
یقیناً ہم نے اس کتاب کو آپ کی طرف حق کے ساتھ نازل فرمایا ہے پس آپ اللہ ہی کی عبادت کریں، اسی کے لئے دین کو خالص کرتے ہوئے.
أَلَا لِلَّهِ الدِّينُ الْخَالِصُ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ مَا نَعْبُدُهُمْ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَا إِلَى اللَّهِ زُلْفَىٰ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي مَا هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي مَنْ هُوَ كَاذِبٌ كَفَّارٌ
English Translation:
Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allah only. And those who take Auliya' (protectors and helpers) besides Him (say): "We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allah." Verily, Allah will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Truly, Allah guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever.
اردو ترجمہ:
خبردار! اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کے لئے خالص عبادت کرنا ہے اور جن لوگوں نے اس کے سوا اولیا بنا رکھے ہیں (اور کہتے ہیں) کہ ہم ان کی عبادت صرف اس لئے کرتے ہیں کہ یہ (بزرگ) اللہ کی نزدیکی کے مرتبہ تک ہماری رسائی کرا دیں، یہ لوگ جس بارے میں اختلاف کر رہے ہیں اس کا (سچا) فیصلہ اللہ (خود) کرے گا۔ جھوٹے اور ناشکرے (لوگوں) کو اللہ تعالیٰ راه نہیں دکھاتا.
لَّوْ أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا لَّاصْطَفَىٰ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ ۖ هُوَ اللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ
English Translation:
Had Allah willed to take a son (or offspring or children), He could have chosen whom He pleased out of those whom He created. But glory be to Him! (He is above such things). He is Allah, the One, the Irresistible.
اردو ترجمہ:
اگر اللہ تعالیٰ کااراده اولاد ہی کا ہوتا تو اپنی مخلوق میں سے جسے چاہتا چن لیتا۔ (لیکن) وه تو پاک ہے، وه وہی اللہ تعالیٰ ہے یگانہ اور قوت والا.
خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ يُكَوِّرُ اللَّيْلَ عَلَى النَّهَارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ النَّهَارَ عَلَى اللَّيْلِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۗ أَلَا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفَّارُ
English Translation:
He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. He makes the night to go in the day and makes the day to go in the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon. Each running (on a fixed course) for an appointed term. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving.
اردو ترجمہ:
نہایت اچھی تدبیر سے اس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو بنایا وه رات کو دن اور دن کو رات پر لپیٹ دیتا ہے اور اس نے سورج اور چاند کو کام پر لگا رکھا ہے۔ ہر ایک مقرره مدت تک چل رہا ہے یقین مانو کہ وہی زبردست اور گناہوں کا بخشنے والا ہے.
خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ الْأَنْعَامِ ثَمَانِيَةَ أَزْوَاجٍ ۚ يَخْلُقُكُمْ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ خَلْقًا مِّن بَعْدِ خَلْقٍ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ ثَلَاثٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ ۖ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُصْرَفُونَ
English Translation:
He created you (all) from a single person (Adam); then made from him his wife [Hawwa' (Eve)]. And He has sent down for you of cattle eight pairs (of the sheep, two, male and female; of the goats, two, male and female; of the oxen, two, male and female; and of the camels, two, male and female). He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation in three veils of darkness, such is Allah your Lord. His is the kingdom, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). How then are you turned away?
اردو ترجمہ:
اس نے تم سب کو ایک ہی جان سے پیدا کیا ہے ، پھر اسی سے اس کا جوڑا پیدا کیا اور تمہارے لئے چوپایوں میں سے (آٹھ نر وماده) اتارے وه تمہیں تمہاری ماؤں کے پیٹوں میں ایک بناوٹ کے بعد دوسری بناوٹ پر بناتا ہے تین تین اندھیروں میں، یہی اللہ تعالیٰ تمہارا رب ہے اسی کے لئے بادشاہت ہے، اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، پھر تم کہاں بہک رہے ہو.
إِن تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنكُمْ ۖ وَلَا يَرْضَىٰ لِعِبَادِهِ الْكُفْرَ ۖ وَإِن تَشْكُرُوا يَرْضَهُ لَكُمْ ۗ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۗ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
English Translation:
If you disbelieve, then verily, Allah is not in need of you, He likes not disbelief for His slaves. And if you are grateful (by being believers), He is pleased therewith for you. No bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, so He will inform you what you used to do. Verily, He is the All-Knower of that which is in (men's) breasts.
اردو ترجمہ:
اگر تم ناشکری کرو تو (یاد رکھو کہ) اللہ تعالیٰ تم (سب سے) بے نیاز ہے ، اور وه اپنے بندوں کی ناشکری سے خوش نہیں اور اگر تم شکر کرو تو وه اسے تمہارے لئے پسند کرے گا۔ اور کوئی کسی کا بوجھ نہیں اٹھاتا پھر تم سب کا لوٹنا تمہارے رب ہی کی طرف ہے۔ تمہیں وه بتلا دے گا جو تم کرتے تھے۔ یقیناً وه دلوں تک کی باتوں کا واقف ہے.
۞ وَإِذَا مَسَّ الْإِنسَانَ ضُرٌّ دَعَا رَبَّهُ مُنِيبًا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُ نِعْمَةً مِّنْهُ نَسِيَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُو إِلَيْهِ مِن قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ ۚ قُلْ تَمَتَّعْ بِكُفْرِكَ قَلِيلًا ۖ إِنَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ
English Translation:
And when some hurt touches man, he cries to his Lord (Allah Alone), turning to Him in repentance, but when He bestows a favour upon him from Himself, he forgets that for which he cried for before, and he sets up rivals to Allah, in order to mislead others from His Path. Say: "Take pleasure in your disbelief for a while: surely, you are (one) of the dwellers of the Fire!"
اردو ترجمہ:
اور انسان کو جب کبھی کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو وه خوب رجوع ہو کر اپنے رب کو پکارتا ہے، پھر جب اللہ تعالیٰ اسے اپنے پاس سے نعمت عطا فرمادیتا ہے تو وه اس سے پہلے جو دعا کرتا تھا اسے (بالکل) بھول جاتا ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے شریک مقرر کرنے لگتا ہے جس سے (اوروں کو بھی) اس کی راه سے بہکائے، آپ کہہ دیجئے! کہ اپنے کفر کا فائده کچھ دن اور اٹھالو، (آخر) تو دوزخیوں میں ہونے والا ہے.
أَمَّنْ هُوَ قَانِتٌ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ سَاجِدًا وَقَائِمًا يَحْذَرُ الْآخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُو رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهِ ۗ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ۗ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ
English Translation:
Is one who is obedient to Allah, prostrating himself or standing (in prayer) during the hours of the night, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the Mercy of his Lord (like one who disbelieves)? Say: "Are those who know equal to those who know not?" It is only men of understanding who will remember (i.e. get a lesson from Allah's Signs and Verses).
اردو ترجمہ:
بھلا جو شخص راتوں کے اوقات سجدے اور قیام کی حالت میں (عبادت میں) گزارتا ہو، آخرت سے ڈرتا ہو اور اپنے رب کی رحمت کی امید رکھتا ہو ، (اور جو اس کے برعکس ہو برابر ہو سکتے ہیں) بتاؤ تو علم والے اور بے علم کیا برابر کے ہیں؟ یقیناً نصیحت وہی حاصل کرتے ہیں جو عقلمند ہوں۔ (اپنے رب کی طرف سے).
قُلْ يَا عِبَادِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ ۚ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا فِي هَـٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ ۗ وَأَرْضُ اللَّهِ وَاسِعَةٌ ۗ إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُم بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
English Translation:
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "O My slaves who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), be afraid of your Lord (Allah) and keep your duty to Him. Good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world, and Allah's earth is spacious (so if you cannot worship Allah at a place, then go to another)! Only those who are patient shall receive their rewards in full, without reckoning."
اردو ترجمہ:
کہہ دو کہ اے میرے ایمان والے بندو! اپنے رب سے ڈرتے رہو ، جو اس دنیا میں نیکی کرتے ہیں ان کے لئے نیک بدلہ ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی زمین بہت کشاده ہے صبر کرنے والوں ہی کو ان کا پورا پورا بےشمار اجر دیا جاتا ہے.
قُلْ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا لَّهُ الدِّينَ
English Translation:
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Verily, I am commanded to worship Allah (Alone) by obeying Him and doing religious deeds sincerely for Allah's sake only and not to show off, and not to set up rivals with Him in worship;
اردو ترجمہ:
آپ کہہ دیجئے! کہ مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی اس طرح عبادت کروں کہ اسی کے لئے عبادت کو خالص کر لوں.
وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
English Translation:
"And I am commanded (this) in order that I may be the first of those who submit themselves to Allah (in Islam) as Muslims."
اردو ترجمہ:
اور مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں سب سے پہلا فرماں بردار بن جاؤں.
قُلْ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
English Translation:
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Verily, if I disobey my Lord, I am afraid of the torment of a great Day."
اردو ترجمہ:
کہہ دیجئے! کہ مجھے تو اپنے رب کی نافرمانی کرتے ہوئے بڑے دن کے عذاب کا خوف لگتا ہے.
قُلِ اللَّهَ أَعْبُدُ مُخْلِصًا لَّهُ دِينِي
English Translation:
Say (O Muhammad SAW) "Allah Alone I worship by doing religious deeds sincerely for His sake only and not to show-off, and not to set up rivals with Him in worship."
اردو ترجمہ:
کہہ دیجئے! کہ میں تو خالص کر کے صرف اپنے رب ہی کی عبادت کرتا ہوں.
فَاعْبُدُوا مَا شِئْتُم مِّن دُونِهِ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ الْخَاسِرِينَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ أَلَا ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِينُ
English Translation:
So worship what you like besides Him. Say (O Muhammad SAW): "The losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, that will be a manifest loss!"
اردو ترجمہ:
تم اس کے سوا جس کی چاہو عبادت کرتے رہو کہہ دیجئے! کہ حقیقی زیاں کار وه ہیں جو اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل کو قیامت کے دن نقصان میں ڈال دیں گے، یاد رکھو کہ کھلم کھلا نقصان یہی ہے.
لَهُم مِّن فَوْقِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ مِّنَ النَّارِ وَمِن تَحْتِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يُخَوِّفُ اللَّهُ بِهِ عِبَادَهُ ۚ يَا عِبَادِ فَاتَّقُونِ
English Translation:
They shall have coverings of Fire, above them and covering (of Fire) beneath them; with this Allah does frighten His slaves: "O My slaves, therefore fear Me!"
اردو ترجمہ:
انہیں نیچے اوپر سے آگ کے (شعلے مثل) سائبان (کے) ڈھانک رہے ہوں گے ۔ یہی (عذاب) ہے جن سے اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندوں کو ڈرا رہا ہے، اے میرے بندو! پس مجھ سے ڈرتے رہو.
وَالَّذِينَ اجْتَنَبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ أَن يَعْبُدُوهَا وَأَنَابُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَىٰ ۚ فَبَشِّرْ عِبَادِ
English Translation:
Those who avoid At-Taghut (false deities) by not worshipping them and turn to Allah in repentance, for them are glad tidings; so announce the good news to My slaves,
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جن لوگوں نے طاغوت کی عبادت سے پرہیز کیا اور (ہمہ تن) اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف متوجہ رہے وه خوش خبری کے مستحق ہیں، میرے بندوں کو خوشخبری سنا دیجئے.
الَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُ ۚ أُولَـٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَاهُمُ اللَّهُ ۖ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمْ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ
English Translation:
Those who listen to the Word [good advice La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and Islamic Monotheism, etc.] and follow the best thereof (i.e. worship Allah Alone, repent to Him and avoid Taghut, etc.) those are (the ones) whom Allah has guided and those are men of understanding (like Zaid bin 'Amr bin Nufail, Salman Al-Farisi and Abu Dhar Al-Ghifari). اردو ترجمہ:
جو بات کو کان لگا کر سنتے ہیں۔ پھر جو بہترین بات ہو اس کی اتباع کرتے ہیں۔ یہی ہیں جنہیں اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہدایت کی ہے اور یہی عقلمند بھی ہیں.
أَفَمَنْ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ كَلِمَةُ الْعَذَابِ أَفَأَنتَ تُنقِذُ مَن فِي النَّارِ
English Translation:
Is, then one against whom the Word of punishment justified (equal to the one who avoids evil). Will you (O Muhammad SAW) rescue him who is in the Fire?
اردو ترجمہ:
بھلا جس شخص پر عذاب کی بات ﺛابت ہو چکی ہے ، تو کیا آپ اسے جو دوزخ میں ہے چھڑا سکتے ہیں؟
لَـٰكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ غُرَفٌ مِّن فَوْقِهَا غُرَفٌ مَّبْنِيَّةٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۖ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ ۖ لَا يُخْلِفُ اللَّهُ الْمِيعَادَ
English Translation:
But those who fear Allah and keep their duty to their Lord (Allah), for them are built lofty rooms; one above another under which rivers flow (i.e. Paradise). (This is) the Promise of Allah: and Allah does not fail in (His) Promise.
اردو ترجمہ:
ہاں وه لوگ جو اپنے رب سے ڈرتے رہے ان کے لئے بالا خانے ہیں جن کے اوپر بھی بنے بنائے بالا خانے ہیں (اور) ان کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہیں۔ رب کا وعده ہے اور وه وعده خلافی نہیں کرتا.
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَسَلَكَهُ يَنَابِيعَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُ بِهِ زَرْعًا مُّخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهُ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَاهُ مُصْفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُ حُطَامًا ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ
English Translation:
See you not, that Allah sends down water (rain) from the sky, and causes it to penetrate the earth, (and then makes it to spring up) as water-springs and afterward thereby produces crops of different colours, and afterward they wither and you see them turn yellow, then He makes them dry and broken pieces. Verily, in this, is a Reminder for men of understanding.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا آپ نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ آسمان سے پانی اتارتا ہے اور اسے زمین کی سوتوں میں پہنچاتا ہے، پھر اسی کے ذریعہ سے مختلف قسم کی کھیتیاں اگاتا ہے پھر وه خشک ہو جاتی ہیں اور آپ انہیں زرد رنگ دیکھتے ہیں پھر انہیں ریزه ریزه کر دیتا ہے، اس میں عقل مندوں کے لئے بہت زیاده نصیحت ہے.
أَفَمَن شَرَحَ اللَّهُ صَدْرَهُ لِلْإِسْلَامِ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ نُورٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِ ۚ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْقَاسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مِّن ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۚ أُولَـٰئِكَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ
English Translation:
Is he whose breast Allah has opened to Islam, so that he is in light from His Lord (as he who is non-Muslim)? So, woe to those whose hearts are hardened against remembrance of Allah! They are in plain error!
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا وه شخص جس کا سینہ اللہ تعالیٰ نےاسلام کے لئے کھول دیا ہے پس وه اپنے پروردگار کی طرف سے ایک نور پر ہے اور ہلاکی ہے ان پر جن کے دل یاد الٰہی سے (اﺛر نہیں لیتے بلکہ) سخت ہو گئے ہیں۔ یہ لوگ صریح گمراہی میں (مبتلا) ہیں.
اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابًا مُّتَشَابِهًا مَّثَانِيَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى اللَّهِ يَهْدِي بِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ
English Translation:
Allah has sent down the best statement, a Book (this Quran), its parts resembling each other in goodness and truth, oft-repeated. The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it (when they recite it or hear it). Then their skin and their heart soften to the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah. He Guides therewith whom He pleases and whomever Allah sends astray, for him there is no guide.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ نے بہترین کلام نازل فرمایا ہے جو ایسی کتاب ہے کہ آپس میں ملتی جلتی اور بار بار دہرائی ہوئی آیتوں کی ہے ، جس سے ان لوگوں کے رونگٹے کھڑے ہو جاتے ہیں جو اپنے رب کا خوف رکھتے ہیں آخر میں ان کے جسم اور دل اللہ تعالیٰ کے ذکر کی طرف نرم ہو جاتے ہیں، یہ ہے اللہ تعالیٰ کی ہدایت جس کے ذریعہ جسے چاہے راه راست پر لگا دیتا ہے۔ اور جسے اللہ تعالیٰ ہی راه بھلا دے اس کا ہادی کوئی نہیں.
أَفَمَن يَتَّقِي بِوَجْهِهِ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ وَقِيلَ لِلظَّالِمِينَ ذُوقُوا مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ
English Translation:
Is he then, who will confront with his face the awful torment on the Day of Resurrection (as he who enters peacefully in Paradise)? And it will be said to the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.): "Taste what you used to earn!"
اردو ترجمہ:
بھلا جو شخص قیامت کے دن کے بدترین عذاب کی سپر (ڈھال) اپنے منھ کو بنائے گا۔ (ایسے) ظالموں سے کہا جائے گا کہ اپنے کیے کا (وبال) چکھو.
كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
English Translation:
Those before them belied, and so the torment came on them from directions they perceived not.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان سے پہلے والوں نے بھی جھٹلایا، پھر ان پر وہاں سے عذاب آپڑا جہاں سے ان کو خیال بھی نہ تھا.
فَأَذَاقَهُمُ اللَّهُ الْخِزْيَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
So Allah made them to taste the disgrace in the present life, but greater is the torment of the Hereafter if they only knew!
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں زندگانی دنیا میں رسوائی کا مزه چکھایا اور ابھی آخرت کا تو بڑا بھاری عذاب ہے کاش کہ یہ لوگ سمجھ لیں.
وَلَقَدْ ضَرَبْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَـٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
English Translation:
And indeed We have put forth for men, in this Quran every kind of similitude in order that they may remember.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور یقیناً ہم نے اس قرآن میں لوگوں کے لئے ہر قسم کی مثالیں بیان کر دیں ہیں کیا عجب کہ وه نصیحت حاصل کر لیں.
قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا غَيْرَ ذِي عِوَجٍ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ
English Translation:
An Arabic Quran, without any crookedness (therein) in order that they may avoid all evil which Allah has ordered them to avoid, fear Him and keep their duty to Him.
اردو ترجمہ:
قرآن ہے عربی میں جس میں کوئی کجی نہیں، ہو سکتا ہے کہ وه پرہیزگاری اختیار کر لیں.
ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا رَّجُلًا فِيهِ شُرَكَاءُ مُتَشَاكِسُونَ وَرَجُلًا سَلَمًا لِّرَجُلٍ هَلْ يَسْتَوِيَانِ مَثَلًا ۚ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
Allah puts forth a similitude: a (slave) man belonging to many partners (like those who worship others along with Allah) disputing with one another, and a (slave) man belonging entirely to one master, (like those who worship Allah Alone). Are those two equal in comparison? All the praises and thanks be to Allah! But most of them know not.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ مثال بیان فرما رہا ہے ایک وه شخص جس میں بہت سے باہم ضد رکھنے والے ساجھی ہیں، اور دوسرا وه شخص جو صرف ایک ہی کا (غلام) ہے، کیا یہ دونوں صفت میں یکساں ہیں ، اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کے لئے سب تعریف ہے۔ بات یہ ہے کہ ان میں کے اکثر لوگ سمجھتے نہیں.
إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُم مَّيِّتُونَ
English Translation:
Verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) will die and verily, they (too) will die.
اردو ترجمہ:
یقیناً خود آپ کو بھی موت آئے گی اور یہ سب بھی مرنے والے ہیں.
ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ تَخْتَصِمُونَ
English Translation:
Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be disputing before your Lord.
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر تم سب کے سب قیامت والے دن اپنے رب کے سامنے جھگڑو گے.
۞ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَبَ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَكَذَّبَ بِالصِّدْقِ إِذْ جَاءَهُ ۚ أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْكَافِرِينَ
English Translation:
Then, who does more wrong than one who utters a lie against Allah, and denies the truth [this Quran, the Prophet (Muhammad SAW), the Islamic Monotheism, the Resurrection and the reward or punishment according to good or evil deeds] when it comes to him! Is there not in Hell an abode for the disbelievers?
اردو ترجمہ:
اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہے جو اللہ تعالیٰ پر جھوٹ بولے ؟ اور سچا دین جب اس کے پاس آئے تو اسے جھوٹا بتائے؟ کیا ایسے کفار کے لیے جہنم ٹھکانا نہیں ہے؟
وَالَّذِي جَاءَ بِالصِّدْقِ وَصَدَّقَ بِهِ ۙ أُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُتَّقُونَ
English Translation:
And he (Muhammad SAW) who has brought the truth (this Quran and Islamic Monotheism) and (those who) believed therein (i.e. the true believers of Islamic Monotheism), those are Al- Muttaqun (the pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جو سچے دین کو لائے اور جس نے اس کی تصدیق کی یہی لوگ پارسا ہیں.
لَهُم مَّا يَشَاءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَاءُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
English Translation:
They shall have all that they will desire with their Lord. That is the reward of Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112).
اردو ترجمہ:
ان کے لیے ان کے رب کے پاس (ہر) وه چیز ہے جو یہ چاہیں ، نیک لوگوں کا یہی بدلہ ہے.
لِيُكَفِّرَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ أَسْوَأَ الَّذِي عَمِلُوا وَيَجْزِيَهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
English Translation:
So that Allah may remit from them the evil of what they did and give them the reward, according to the best of what they used to do.
اردو ترجمہ:
تاکہ اللہ تعالیٰ ان سے ان کے برے عملوں کو دور کردے اور جو نیک کام انہوں نے کیے ہیں ان کا اچھا بدلہ عطا فرمائے.
أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهُ ۖ وَيُخَوِّفُونَكَ بِالَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِ ۚ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ
English Translation:
Is not Allah Sufficient for His slave? Yet they try to frighten you with those (whom they worship) besides Him! And whom Allah sends astray, for him there will be no guide.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندے کے لیے کافی نہیں ؟ یہ لوگ آپ کو اللہ کے سوا اوروں سے ڈرا رہے ہیں اور جسے اللہ گمراه کر دےاس کی رہنمائی کرنے والا کوئی نہیں.
وَمَن يَهْدِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن مُّضِلٍّ ۗ أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِعَزِيزٍ ذِي انتِقَامٍ
English Translation:
And whomsoever Allah guides, for him there will be no misleader. Is not Allah All-Mighty, Possessor of Retribution?
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جسے وه ہدایت دے اسے کوئی گمراه کرنے والا نہیں کیا اللہ تعالیٰ غالب اور بدلہ لینے والا نہیں ہے؟
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۚ قُلْ أَفَرَأَيْتُم مَّا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَادَنِيَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ هَلْ هُنَّ كَاشِفَاتُ ضُرِّهِ أَوْ أَرَادَنِي بِرَحْمَةٍ هَلْ هُنَّ مُمْسِكَاتُ رَحْمَتِهِ ۚ قُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ ۖ عَلَيْهِ يَتَوَكَّلُ الْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
English Translation:
And verily, if you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth?" Surely, they will say: "Allah (has created them)." Say: "Tell me then, the things that you invoke besides Allah, if Allah intended some harm for me, could they remove His harm, or if He (Allah) intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His Mercy?" Say: "Sufficient for me is Allah; in Him those who trust (i.e. believers) must put their trust."
اردو ترجمہ:
اگر آپ ان سے پوچھیں کہ آسمان و زمین کو کس نے پیدا کیا ہے؟ تو یقیناً وه یہی جواب دیں گے کہ اللہ نے۔ آپ ان سے کہئیے کہ اچھا یہ تو بتاؤ جنہیں تم اللہ کے سوا پکارتے ہو اگر اللہ تعالی مجھے نقصان پہنچانا چاہے توکیا یہ اس کے نقصان کو ہٹا سکتے ہیں؟ یا اللہ تعالیٰ مجھ پر مہربانی کا اراده کرے تو کیا یہ اس کی مہربانی کو روک سکتے ہیں؟ آپ کہہ دیں کہ اللہ مجھے کافی ہے ، توکل کرنے والے اسی پر توکل کرتے ہیں.
قُلْ يَا قَوْمِ اعْمَلُوا عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنِّي عَامِلٌ ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
Say: (O Muhammad SAW) "O My people! Work according to your way, I am working (according to my way). Then you will come to know,
اردو ترجمہ:
کہہ دیجیئے کہ اے میری قوم! تم اپنی جگہ پر عمل کیے جاؤ میں بھی عمل کر رہا ہوں ، ابھی ابھی تم جان لوگے.
مَن يَأْتِيهِ عَذَابٌ يُخْزِيهِ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيْهِ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ
English Translation:
"To whom comes a disgracing torment, and on whom descends an everlasting torment."
اردو ترجمہ:
کہ کس پر رسوا کرنے والا عذاب آتا ہے اور کس پر دائمی مار اور ہمیشگی کی سزا ہوتی ہے.
إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ لِلنَّاسِ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ فَمَنِ اهْتَدَىٰ فَلِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا ۖ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ
English Translation:
Verily, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Quran) for mankind in truth. So whosoever accepts the guidance, it is only for his ownself, and whosoever goes astray, he goes astray only for his (own) loss. And you (O Muhammad SAW) are not a Wakil (trustee or disposer of affairs, or keeper) over them.
اردو ترجمہ:
آپ پر ہم نے حق کے ساتھ یہ کتاب لوگوں کے لیے نازل فرمائی ہے، پس جو شخص راه راست پر آجائے اس کے اپنے لیے نفع ہے اور جو گمراه ہوجائے اس کی گمراہی کا (وبال) اسی پر ہے، آپ ان کے ذمہ دار نہیں.
اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الْأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَالَّتِي لَمْ تَمُتْ فِي مَنَامِهَا ۖ فَيُمْسِكُ الَّتِي قَضَىٰ عَلَيْهَا الْمَوْتَ وَيُرْسِلُ الْأُخْرَىٰ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
English Translation:
It is Allah Who takes away the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep. He keeps those (souls) for which He has ordained death and sends the rest for a term appointed. Verily, in this are signs for a people who think deeply.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ ہی روحوں کو ان کی موت کے وقت اور جن کی موت نہیں آئی انہیں ان کی نیند کے وقت قبض کر لیتا ہے، پھر جن پر موت کا حکم لگ چکا ہے انہیں تو روک لیتا ہے اور دوسری (روحوں) کو ایک مقرر وقت تک کے لیے چھوڑ دیتا ہے۔ غور کرنے والوں کے لیے اس میں یقیناً بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں.
أَمِ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ شُفَعَاءَ ۚ قُلْ أَوَلَوْ كَانُوا لَا يَمْلِكُونَ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ
English Translation:
Have they taken others as intercessors besides Allah? Say: "Even if they have power over nothing whatever and have no intelligence?"
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا ان لوگوں نے اللہ تعالی کے سوا (اوروں) کو سفارشی مقرر کر رکھا ہے؟ آپ کہہ دیجیئے! کہ گو وه کچھ بھی اختیار نہ رکھتے ہوں اور نہ عقل رکھتے ہوں.
قُل لِّلَّهِ الشَّفَاعَةُ جَمِيعًا ۖ لَّهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
English Translation:
Say: "To Allah belongs all intercession. His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, then to Him you shall be brought back."
اردو ترجمہ:
کہہ دیجئے! کہ تمام سفارش کا مختار اللہ ہی ہے ۔ تمام آسمانوں اور زمین کا راج اسی کے لیے ہے تم سب اسی کی طرف پھیرے جاؤ گے.
وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ اشْمَأَزَّتْ قُلُوبُ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ ۖ وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ الَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
English Translation:
And when Allah Alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter are filled with disgust (from the Oneness of Allah and when those (whom they obey or worship) besides Him [like all false deities other than Allah, it may be a Messenger like 'Iesa (Jesus) - son of Maryam (Mary), 'Uzair (Ezra), an angel, a pious man, a jinn, or any other creature even idols, graves of religious people, saints, priests, monks, etc.] are mentioned, behold, they rejoice!
اردو ترجمہ:
جب اللہ اکیلے کا ذکر کیا جائے تو ان لوگوں کے دل نفرت کرنے لگتے ہیں جو آخرت کایقین نہیں رکھتے اور جب اس کے سوا (اور کا) ذکر کیا جائے تو ان کے دل کھل کر خوش ہو جاتے ہیں.
قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ أَنتَ تَحْكُمُ بَيْنَ عِبَادِكَ فِي مَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
English Translation:
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth! All-Knower of the Ghaib (unseen) and the seen. You will judge between your slaves about that wherein they used to differ."
اردو ترجمہ:
آپ کہہ دیجئے! کہ اے اللہ! آسمانوں اور زمین کے پیدا کرنے والے، چھپے کھلے کے جاننے والے تو ہی اپنے بندوں میں ان امور کا فیصلہ فرمائے گا جن میں وه الجھ رہے تھے.
وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لَافْتَدَوْا بِهِ مِن سُوءِ الْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ وَبَدَا لَهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يَكُونُوا يَحْتَسِبُونَ
English Translation:
And those who did wrong (the polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah), if they had all that is in earth and therewith as much again, they verily, would offer it to ransom themselves therewith on the Day of Resurrection from the evil torment, and there will become apparent to them from Allah, what they had not been reckoning.
اردو ترجمہ:
اگر ظلم کرنے والوں کے پاس وه سب کچھ ہو جو روئے زمین پر ہے اور اس کے ساتھ اتنا ہی اور ہو، تو بھی بدترین سزا کے بدلے میں قیامت کے دن یہ سب کچھ دے دیں ، اور ان کے سامنے اللہ کی طرف سے وه ظاہر ہوگا جس کا گمان بھی انہیں نہ تھا.
وَبَدَا لَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا كَسَبُوا وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
English Translation:
And the evils of that which they earned will become apparent to them, and they will be encircled by that which they used to mock at!
اردو ترجمہ:
جو کچھ انہوں نے کیا تھا اس کی برائیاں ان پر کھل پڑیں گی اور جس کا وه مذاق کرتے تھے اور وه انہیں آ گھیرے گا.
فَإِذَا مَسَّ الْإِنسَانَ ضُرٌّ دَعَانَا ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلْنَاهُ نِعْمَةً مِّنَّا قَالَ إِنَّمَا أُوتِيتُهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ ۚ بَلْ هِيَ فِتْنَةٌ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
When harm touches man, he calls to Us (for help), then when We have (rescued him from that harm and) changed it into a favour from Us, he says: "Only because of knowledge (that I possess) I obtained it." Nay, it is only a trial, but most of them know not!
اردو ترجمہ:
انسان کو جب کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو ہمیں پکارنے لگتا ہے ، پھر جب ہم اسے اپنی طرف سے کوئی نعمت عطا فرمادیں تو کہنے لگتا ہے کہ اسے تو میں محض اپنے علم کی وجہ سے دیا گیا ہوں، بلکہ یہ آزمائش ہے لیکن ان میں سے اکثر لوگ بے علم ہیں.
قَدْ قَالَهَا الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
English Translation:
Verily, those before them said it, yet (all) that they had earned availed them not.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان سے اگلے بھی یہی بات کہہ چکے ہیں پس ان کی کارروائی ان کے کچھ کام نہ آئی.
فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا كَسَبُوا ۚ وَالَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ سَيُصِيبُهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا كَسَبُوا وَمَا هُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ
English Translation:
So, the evil results of that which they earned overtook them. And those who did wrong of these [people to whom you (Muhammad SAW) have been sent], will also be overtaken by the evil results (torment) for that which they earned, and they will never be able to escape.
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر ان کی تمام برائیاں ان پر آ پڑیں، اوران میں سے بھی جو گناه گار ہیں ان کی کی ہوئی برائیاں بھی اب ان پر آ پڑیں گی، یہ (ہمیں) ہرا دینے والے نہیں.
أَوَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
English Translation:
Do they not know that Allah enlarges the provision for whom He wills, and straitens it (for whom He wills). Verily, in this are signs for the folk who believe!
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا انہیں یہ معلوم نہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ جس کے لیے چاہے روزی کشاده کر دیتا ہے اور تنگ (بھی)، ایمان لانے والوں کے لیے اس میں (بڑی بڑی) نشانیاں ہیں.
۞ قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
English Translation:
Say: "O 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
(میری جانب سے) کہہ دو کہ اے میرے بندو! جنہوں نے اپنی جانوں پر زیادتی کی ہے تم اللہ کی رحمت سے ناامید نہ ہو جاؤ، بالیقین اللہ تعالیٰ سارے گناہوں کو بخش دیتا ہے، واقعی وه بڑی بخشش بڑی رحمت والا ہے.
وَأَنِيبُوا إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ وَأَسْلِمُوا لَهُ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ الْعَذَابُ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ
English Translation:
"And turn in repentance and in obedience with true Faith (Islamic Monotheism) to your Lord and submit to Him, (in Islam), before the torment comes upon you, then you will not be helped.
اردو ترجمہ:
تم (سب) اپنے پروردگار کی طرف جھک پڑو اور اس کی حکم برداری کیے جاؤ اس سے قبل کہ تمہارے پاس عذاب آ جائے اور پھر تمہاری مدد نہ کی جائے.
وَاتَّبِعُوا أَحْسَنَ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ الْعَذَابُ بَغْتَةً وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ
English Translation:
"And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from your Lord (i.e. this Quran, do what it orders you to do and keep away from what it forbids), before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!"
اردو ترجمہ:
اور پیروری کرو اس بہترین چیزکی جو تمہاری طرف تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے نازل کی گئی ہے، اس سے پہلے کہ تم پر اچانک عذاب آجائے اور تمہیں اطلاع بھی نہ ہو.
أَن تَقُولَ نَفْسٌ يَا حَسْرَتَىٰ عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطتُ فِي جَنبِ اللَّهِ وَإِن كُنتُ لَمِنَ السَّاخِرِينَ
English Translation:
Lest a person should say: "Alas, my grief that I was undutiful to Allah (i.e. I have not done what Allah has ordered me to do), and I was indeed among those who mocked [at the truth! i.e. La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), the Quran, and Muhammad SAW and at the faithful believers, etc.]
اردو ترجمہ:
(ایسا نہ ہو کہ) کوئی شخص کہے ہائے افسوس! اس بات پر کہ میں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے حق میں کوتاہی کی بلکہ میں تو مذاق اڑانے والوں میں ہی رہا.
أَوْ تَقُولَ لَوْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ هَدَانِي لَكُنتُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ
English Translation:
Or (lest) he should say: "If only Allah had guided me, I should indeed have been among the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2)."
اردو ترجمہ:
یا کہے کہ اگر اللہ مجھے ہدایت کرتا تو میں بھی پارسا لوگوں میں ہوتا.
أَوْ تَقُولَ حِينَ تَرَى الْعَذَابَ لَوْ أَنَّ لِي كَرَّةً فَأَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
English Translation:
Or (lest) he should say when he sees the torment: "If only I had another chance (to return to the world) then I should indeed be among the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112)."
اردو ترجمہ:
یا عذاب کو دیکھ کر کہے کاش! کہ کسی طرح میرا لوٹ جانا ہوجاتا تو میں بھی نیکو کاروں میں ہوجاتا.
بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَاءَتْكَ آيَاتِي فَكَذَّبْتَ بِهَا وَاسْتَكْبَرْتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ
English Translation:
Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers.
اردو ترجمہ:
ہاں (ہاں) بیشک تیرے پاس میری آیتیں پہنچ چکی تھیں جنہیں تونے جھٹلایا اور غرور وتکبر کیا اور تو تھا ہی کافروں میں.
وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تَرَى الَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ وُجُوهُهُم مُّسْوَدَّةٌ ۚ أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
English Translation:
And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allah (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners, etc.) their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant ones?
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جن لوگوں نے اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھا ہے تو آپ دیکھیں گے کہ قیامت کے دن ان کے چہرے سیاه ہوگئے ہوں گے کیا تکبر کرنے والوں کاٹھکانا جہنم میں نہیں؟
وَيُنَجِّي اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا بِمَفَازَتِهِمْ لَا يَمَسُّهُمُ السُّوءُ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
English Translation:
And Allah will deliver those who are the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) to their places of success (Paradise). Evil shall touch them not, nor shall they grieve.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جن لوگوں نے پرہیزگاری کی انہیں اللہ تعالیٰ ان کی کامیابی کے ساتھ بچا لے گا، انہیں کوئی دکھ چھو بھی نہ سکے گا اور نہ وه کسی طرح غمگین ہوں گے.
اللَّهُ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَكِيلٌ
English Translation:
Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the Wakil (Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian, etc.) over all things.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ ہر چیز کا پیدا کرنے والا ہے اور وہی ہر چیز پر نگہبان ہے.
لَّهُ مَقَالِيدُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ أُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ
English Translation:
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, such are they who will be the losers.
اردو ترجمہ:
آسمانوں اور زمین کی کنجیوں کامالک وہی ہے جن جن لوگوں نے اللہ کی آیتوں کا انکار کیا وہی خساره پانے والے ہیں.
قُلْ أَفَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ تَأْمُرُونِّي أَعْبُدُ أَيُّهَا الْجَاهِلُونَ
English Translation:
Say (O Muhammad SAW to the polytheists, etc.): "Do you order me to worship other than Allah O you fools?"
اردو ترجمہ:
آپ کہہ دیجئے اے جاہلو! کیا تم مجھ سے اللہ کے سوا اوروں کی عبادت کو کہتے ہو.
وَلَقَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ لَئِنْ أَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
English Translation:
And indeed it has been revealed to you (O Muhammad SAW), as it was to those (Allah's Messengers) before you: "If you join others in worship with Allah, (then) surely (all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers."
اردو ترجمہ:
یقیناً تیری طرف بھی اور تجھ سے پہلے (کے تمام نبیوں) کی طرف بھی وحی کی گئی ہے کہ اگر تو نے شرک کیا تو بلاشبہ تیرا عمل ضائع ہو جائے گا اور بالیقین تو زیاںکاروں میں سے ہوجائے گا.
بَلِ اللَّهَ فَاعْبُدْ وَكُن مِّنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ
English Translation:
Nay! But worship Allah (Alone and none else), and be among the grateful.
اردو ترجمہ:
بلکہ تو اللہ ہی کی عبادت کر اور شکر کرنے والوں میں سے ہو جا.
وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَالْأَرْضُ جَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتُ مَطْوِيَّاتٌ بِيَمِينِهِ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
English Translation:
They made not a just estimate of Allah such as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Glorified is He, and High is He above all that they associate as partners with Him!
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ان لوگوں نے جیسی قدر اللہ تعالیٰ کی کرنی چاہئے تھی نہیں کی ، ساری زمین قیامت کے دن اس کی مٹھی میں ہوگی اور تمام آسمان اس کے داہنے ہاتھ میں لپیٹے ہوئے ہوں گے، وه پاک اور برتر ہے ہر اس چیز سے جسے لوگ اس کا شریک بنائیں.
وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَن شَاءَ اللَّهُ ۖ ثُمَّ نُفِخَ فِيهِ أُخْرَىٰ فَإِذَا هُمْ قِيَامٌ يَنظُرُونَ
English Translation:
And the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away, except him whom Allah will. Then it will blown a second time and behold, they will be standing, looking on (waiting).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور صور پھونک دیا جائے گا پس آسمانوں اور زمین والے سب بے ہوش ہوکر گر پڑیں گے مگر جسے اللہ چاہے، پھر دوباره صور پھونکا جائے گا پس وه ایک دم کھڑے ہو کر دیکھنے لگ جائیں گے.
وَأَشْرَقَتِ الْأَرْضُ بِنُورِ رَبِّهَا وَوُضِعَ الْكِتَابُ وَجِيءَ بِالنَّبِيِّينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُم بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord (Allah, when He will come to judge among men) and the Book will be placed (open) and the Prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward, and it will be judged between them with truth, and they will not be wronged.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور زمین اپنے پروردگار کے نور سے جگمگا اٹھے گی ، نامہٴ اعمال حاضر کیے جائیں گے نبیوں اور گواہوں کو لایا جائے گا اور لوگوں کے درمیان حق حق فیصلے کر دیے جائیں گے، اور وه ظلم نہ کیے جائیں گے.
وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ
English Translation:
And each person will be paid in full of what he did; and He is Best Aware of what they do.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جس شخص نے جو کچھ کیا ہے بھرپور دے دیا جائے گا، جو کچھ لوگ کر رہے ہیں وه بخوبی جاننے والا ہے.
وَسِيقَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًا ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءُوهَا فُتِحَتْ أَبْوَابُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَا أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنكُمْ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِ رَبِّكُمْ وَيُنذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَـٰذَا ۚ قَالُوا بَلَىٰ وَلَـٰكِنْ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَةُ الْعَذَابِ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
English Translation:
And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups, till, when they reach it, the gates thereof will be opened (suddenly like a prison at the arrival of the prisoners). And its keepers will say, "Did not the Messengers come to you from yourselves, reciting to you the Verses of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "Yes, but the Word of torment has been justified against the disbelievers!"
اردو ترجمہ:
کافروں کے غول کے غول جہنم کی طرف ہنکائے جائیں گے ، جب وه اس کے پاس پہنچ جائیں گے اس کے دروازے ان کے لیے کھول دیے جائیں گے، اور وہاں کے نگہبان ان سے سوال کریں گے کہ کیا تمہارے پاس تم میں سے رسول نہیں آئے تھے؟ جو تم پر تمہارے رب کی آیتیں پڑھتے تھے اور تمہیں اس دن کی ملاقات سے ڈراتے تھے؟ یہ جواب دیں گے کہ ہاں درست ہے لیکن عذاب کا حکم کافروں پر ﺛابت ہو گیا.
قِيلَ ادْخُلُوا أَبْوَابَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ فَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
English Translation:
It will be said (to them): "Enter you the gates of Hell, to abide therein. And (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant!"
اردو ترجمہ:
کہا جائے گا کہ اب جہنم کے دروازوں میں داخل ہو جاؤ جہاں ہمیشہ رہیں گے، پس سرکشوں کا ٹھکانا بہت ہی برا ہے.
وَسِيقَ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ زُمَرًا ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءُوهَا وَفُتِحَتْ أَبْوَابُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَا سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ طِبْتُمْ فَادْخُلُوهَا خَالِدِينَ
English Translation:
And those who kept their duty to their Lord will be led to Paradise in groups, till, when they reach it, and its gates will be opened (before their arrival for their reception) and its keepers will say: Salamun 'Alaikum (peace be upon you)! You have done well, so enter here to abide therein."
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جو لوگ اپنے رب سے ڈرتے تھے ان کے گروه کے گروه جنت کی طرف روانہ کیے جائیں گے یہاں تک کہ جب اس کے پاس آ جائیں گے اور دروازے کھول دیے جائیں گے اور وہاں کے نگہبان ان سے کہیں گے تم پر سلام ہو، تم خوش حال رہو تم اس میں ہمیشہ کے لیے چلے جاؤ.
وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي صَدَقَنَا وَعْدَهُ وَأَوْرَثَنَا الْأَرْضَ نَتَبَوَّأُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ حَيْثُ نَشَاءُ ۖ فَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ الْعَامِلِينَ
English Translation:
And they will say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah Who has fulfilled His Promise to us and has made us inherit (this) land. We can dwell in Paradise where we will; how excellent a reward for the (pious good) workers!"
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ کہیں گے کہ اللہ کاشکر ہے کہ جس نے ہم سے اپنا وعده پورا کیا اور ہمیں اس زمین کا وارث بنا دیا کہ جنت میں جہاں چاہیں مقام کریں پس عمل کرنے والوں کا کیا ہی اچھا بدلہ ہے.
وَتَرَى الْمَلَائِكَةَ حَافِّينَ مِنْ حَوْلِ الْعَرْشِ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُم بِالْحَقِّ وَقِيلَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
English Translation:
And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne (of Allah) from all round, glorifying the praises of their Lord (Allah). And they (all the creatures) will be judged with truth, and it will be said. All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور تو فرشتوں کو اللہ کے عرش کے اردگرد حلقہ باندھے ہوئے اپنے رب کی حمد و تسبیح کرتے ہوئے دیکھے گا اور ان میں انصاف کا فیصلہ کیا جائے گا اور کہہ دیا جائے گا کہ ساری خوبی اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے جو تمام جہانوں کا پالنہار ہے.
