Al-Hajj - الحج (Surah 22)

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ زَلْزَلَةَ السَّاعَةِ شَيْءٌ عَظِيمٌ
English Translation:
O mankind! Fear your Lord and be dutiful to Him! Verily, the earthquake of the Hour (of Judgement) is a terrible thing.
اردو ترجمہ:
لوگو! اپنے پروردگار سے ڈرو! بلاشبہ قیامت کا زلزلہ بہت ہی بڑی چیز ہے.
يَوْمَ تَرَوْنَهَا تَذْهَلُ كُلُّ مُرْضِعَةٍ عَمَّا أَرْضَعَتْ وَتَضَعُ كُلُّ ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ حَمْلَهَا وَتَرَى النَّاسَ سُكَارَىٰ وَمَا هُم بِسُكَارَىٰ وَلَـٰكِنَّ عَذَابَ اللَّهِ شَدِيدٌ
English Translation:
The Day you shall see it, every nursing mother will forget her nursling, and every pregnant one will drop her load, and you shall see mankind as in a drunken state, yet they will not be drunken, but severe will be the Torment of Allah.
اردو ترجمہ:
جس دن تم اسے دیکھ لو گے ہر دودھ پلانے والی اپنے دودھ پیتے بچے کو بھول جائے گی اور تمام حمل والیوں کے حمل گر جائیں گے اور تو دیکھے گا کہ لوگ مدہوش دکھائی دیں گے، حالانکہ درحقیقت وه متوالے نہ ہوں گے لیکن اللہ کا عذاب بڑا ہی سخت ہے.
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يُجَادِلُ فِي اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّبِعُ كُلَّ شَيْطَانٍ مَّرِيدٍ
English Translation:
And among mankind is he who disputes concerning Allah, without knowledge, and follows every rebellious (disobedient to Allah) Shaitan (devil) (devoid of each and every kind of good).
اردو ترجمہ:
بعض لوگ اللہ کے بارے میں باتیں بناتے ہیں اور وه بھی بے علمی کے ساتھ اور ہر سرکش شیطان کی پیروی کرتے ہیں.
كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ مَن تَوَلَّاهُ فَأَنَّهُ يُضِلُّهُ وَيَهْدِيهِ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ
English Translation:
For him (the devil) it is decreed that whosoever follows him, he will mislead him, and will drive him to the torment of the Fire. [Tafsir At-Tabari]
اردو ترجمہ:
جس پر (قضائے الٰہی) لکھ دی گئی ہے کہ جو کوئی اس کی رفاقت کرے گا وه اسے گمراه کر دے گا اور اسے آگ کے عذاب کی طرف لے جائے گا.
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِّنَ الْبَعْثِ فَإِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ مِن مُّضْغَةٍ مُّخَلَّقَةٍ وَغَيْرِ مُخَلَّقَةٍ لِّنُبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ ۚ وَنُقِرُّ فِي الْأَرْحَامِ مَا نَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ نُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوا أَشُدَّكُمْ ۖ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰ أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ لِكَيْلَا يَعْلَمَ مِن بَعْدِ عِلْمٍ شَيْئًا ۚ وَتَرَى الْأَرْضَ هَامِدَةً فَإِذَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ وَأَنبَتَتْ مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَهِيجٍ
English Translation:
O mankind! If you are in doubt about the Resurrection, then verily! We have created you (i.e. Adam) from dust, then from a Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge i.e. offspring of Adam), then from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood) then from a little lump of flesh, some formed and some unformed (miscarriage), that We may make (it) clear to you (i.e. to show you Our Power and Ability to do what We will). And We cause whom We will to remain in the wombs for an appointed term, then We bring you out as infants, then (give you growth) that you may reach your age of full strength. And among you there is he who dies (young), and among you there is he who is brought back to the miserable old age, so that he knows nothing after having known. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down water (rain) on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells and puts forth every lovely kind (of growth).
اردو ترجمہ:
لوگو! اگر تمہیں مرنے کے بعد جی اٹھنے میں شک ہے تو سوچو ہم نے تمہیں مٹی سے پیدا کیا پھر نطفہ سے پھر خون بستہ سے پھر گوشت کے لوتھڑے سے جو صورت دیا گیا تھا اور بے نقشہ تھا ۔ یہ ہم تم پر ظاہر کر دیتے ہیں، اور ہم جسے چاہیں ایک ٹھہرائے ہوئے وقت تک رحم مادر میں رکھتے ہیں پھر تمہیں بچپن کی حالت میں دنیا میں لاتے ہیں پھر تاکہ تم اپنی پوری جوانی کو پہنچو، تم میں سے بعض تو وه ہیں جو فوت کر لئے جاتے ہیں اور بعض بے غرض عمر کی طرف پھر سے لوٹا دیئے جاتے ہیں کہ وه ایک چیز سے باخبر ہونے کے بعد پھر بے خبر ہو جائے۔ تو دیکھتا ہے کہ زمین (بنجر اور) خشک ہے پھر ہم اس پر بارشیں برساتے ہیں تو وه ابھرتی ہے اور پھولتی ہے اور ہر قسم کی رونق دار نباتات اگاتی ہے.
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنَّهُ يُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ وَأَنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
English Translation:
That is because Allah, He is the Truth, and it is He Who gives life to the dead, and it is He Who is Able to do all things.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ اس لئے کہ اللہ ہی حق ہے اور وہی مردوں کو جِلاتا ہے اور وه ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے.
وَأَنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُ مَن فِي الْقُبُورِ
English Translation:
And surely, the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it, and certainly, Allah will resurrect those who are in the graves.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور یہ کہ قیامت قطعاً آنے والی ہے جس میں کوئی شک وشبہ نہیں اور یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ قبروں والوں کو دوباره زنده فرمائے گا.
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يُجَادِلُ فِي اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَلَا هُدًى وَلَا كِتَابٍ مُّنِيرٍ
English Translation:
And among men is he who disputes about Allah, without knowledge or guidance, or a Book giving light (from Allah),
اردو ترجمہ:
بعض لوگ اللہ کے بارے میں بغیر علم کے اور بغیر ہدایت کے اور بغیر روشن کتاب کے جھگڑتے ہیں.
ثَانِيَ عِطْفِهِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ لَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ ۖ وَنُذِيقُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ
English Translation:
Bending his neck in pride (far astray from the Path of Allah), and leading (others) too (far) astray from the Path of Allah. For him there is disgrace in this worldly life, and on the Day of Resurrection We shall make him taste the torment of burning (Fire).
اردو ترجمہ:
جو اپنی پہلو موڑنے والا بن کر اس لئے کہ اللہ کی راه سے بہکادے، اسے دنیا میں بھی رسوائی ہوگی اور قیامت کے دن بھی ہم اسے جہنم میں جلنے کا عذاب چکھائیں گے.
ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاكَ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ
English Translation:
That is because of what your hands have sent forth, and verily, Allah is not unjust to (His) slaves.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ ان اعمال کی وجہ سے جو تیرے ہاتھوں نے آگے بھیج رکھے تھے۔ یقین مانو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندوں پر ظلم کرنے والا نہیں.
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ حَرْفٍ ۖ فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ خَيْرٌ اطْمَأَنَّ بِهِ ۖ وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ فِتْنَةٌ انقَلَبَ عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهِ خَسِرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِينُ
English Translation:
And among mankind is he who worships Allah as it were, upon the very edge (i.e. in doubt); if good befalls him, he is content therewith; but if a trial befalls him, he turns back on his face (i.e. reverts back to disbelief after embracing Islam). He loses both this world and the Hereafter. That is the evident loss.
اردو ترجمہ:
بعض لوگ ایسے بھی ہیں کہ ایک کنارے پر (کھڑے) ہو کر اللہ کی عبادت کرتے ہیں۔ اگر کوئی نفع مل گیا تو دلچسپی لینے لگتے ہیں اور اگر کوئی آفت آگئی تو اسی وقت منھ پھیر لیتے ہیں ، انہوں نے دونوں جہان کانقصان اٹھا لیا۔ واقعی یہ کھلا نقصان ہے.
يَدْعُو مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُ وَمَا لَا يَنفَعُهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلَالُ الْبَعِيدُ
English Translation:
He calls besides Allah unto that which hurts him not, nor profits him. That is a straying far away.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ کے سوا انہیں پکارتے ہیں جو نہ انہیں نقصان پہنچا سکیں نہ نفع۔ یہی تو دور دراز کی گمراہی ہے.
يَدْعُو لَمَن ضَرُّهُ أَقْرَبُ مِن نَّفْعِهِ ۚ لَبِئْسَ الْمَوْلَىٰ وَلَبِئْسَ الْعَشِيرُ
English Translation:
He calls unto him whose harm is nearer than his profit; certainly, and evil Maula (patron) and certainly an evil friend!
اردو ترجمہ:
اسے پکارتے ہیں جس کا نقصان اس کے نفع سے زیاده قریب ہے، یقیناً برے والی ہیں اور برے ساتھی.
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ
English Translation:
Truly, Allah will admit those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds (according to the Quran and the Sunnah) to Gardens underneath which rivers flow (in Paradise). Verily, Allah does what He wills.
اردو ترجمہ:
ایمان اور نیک اعمال والوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ بہتی ہوئی نہروں والی جنتوں میں داخل کرے گا۔ اللہ جو اراده کرے اسے کر کے رہتا ہے.
مَن كَانَ يَظُنُّ أَن لَّن يَنصُرَهُ اللَّهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ بِسَبَبٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ لْيَقْطَعْ فَلْيَنظُرْ هَلْ يُذْهِبَنَّ كَيْدُهُ مَا يَغِيظُ
English Translation:
Whoever thinks that Allah will not help him (Muhammad SAW) in this world and in the Hereafter, let him stretch out a rope to the ceiling and let him strangle himself. Then let him see whether his plan will remove that whereat he rages!
اردو ترجمہ:
جس کا یہ خیال ہو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے رسول کی مدد دونوں جہان میں نہ کرے گا وه اونچائی پر ایک رسہ باندھ کر (اپنے حلق میں پھنده ڈال کر اپنا گلا گھونٹ لے) پھر دیکھ لے کہ اس کی چالاکیوں سے وه بات ہٹ جاتی ہے جو اسے تڑپا رہی ہے؟
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلْنَاهُ آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَهْدِي مَن يُرِيدُ
English Translation:
Thus have We sent it (this Quran) down (to Muhammad SAW) as clear signs, evidences and proofs, and surely, Allah guides whom He wills.
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم نے اسی طرح اس قرآن کو واضح آیتوں میں اتارا ہے جسے اللہ چاہے ہدایت نصیب فرماتا ہے.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالصَّابِئِينَ وَالنَّصَارَىٰ وَالْمَجُوسَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
English Translation:
Verily, those who believe (in Allah and in His Messenger Muhammad SAW), and those who are Jews, and the Sabians, and the Christians, and the Magians, and those who worship others besides Allah, truly, Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection. Verily! Allah is Witness over all things.
اردو ترجمہ:
بیشک اہل ایمان اور یہودی اور صابی اور نصرانی اور مجوسی اور مشرکین ان سب کے درمیان قیامت کے دن خود اللہ تعالیٰ فیصلے کر دے گا، اللہ تعالیٰ ہر چیز پر گواه ہے.
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَسْجُدُ لَهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ وَالنُّجُومُ وَالْجِبَالُ وَالشَّجَرُ وَالدَّوَابُّ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنَ النَّاسِ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ الْعَذَابُ ۗ وَمَن يُهِنِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن مُّكْرِمٍ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۩
English Translation:
See you not that to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth, and the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the mountains, and the trees, and Ad-Dawab (moving living creatures, beasts, etc.), and many of mankind? But there are many (men) on whom the punishment is justified. And whomsoever Allah disgraces, none can honour him. Verily! Allah does what He wills.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا تو نہیں دیکھ رہا کہ اللہ کے سامنے سجده میں ہیں سب آسمانوں والے اور سب زمینوں والے اور سورج اور چاند اور ستارے اور پہاڑ اور درخت اور جانور اور بہت سے انسان بھی۔ ہاں بہت سے وه بھی ہیں جن پر عذاب کا مقولہ ﺛابت ہو چکا ہے، جسے رب ذلیل کردے اسے کوئی عزت دینے والا نہیں، اللہ جو چاہتا ہے کرتا ہے.
۞ هَـٰذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ ۖ فَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قُطِّعَتْ لَهُمْ ثِيَابٌ مِّن نَّارٍ يُصَبُّ مِن فَوْقِ رُءُوسِهِمُ الْحَمِيمُ
English Translation:
These two opponents (believers and disbelievers) dispute with each other about their Lord; then as for those who disbelieve, garments of fire will be cut out for them, boiling water will be poured down over their heads.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ دونوں اپنے رب کے بارے میں اختلاف کرنے والے ہیں، پس کافروں کے لئے تو آگ کے کپڑے بیونت کر کاٹے جائیں گے، اور ان کے سروں کے اوپر سے سخت کھولتا ہوا پانی بہایا جائے گا.
يُصْهَرُ بِهِ مَا فِي بُطُونِهِمْ وَالْجُلُودُ
English Translation:
With it will melt or vanish away what is within their bellies, as well as (their) skins.
اردو ترجمہ:
جس سے ان کے پیٹ کی سب چیزیں اور کھالیں گلا دی جائیں گی.
وَلَهُم مَّقَامِعُ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ
English Translation:
And for them are hooked rods of iron (to punish them).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ان کی سزا کے لئے لوہے کے ہتھوڑے ہیں.
كُلَّمَا أَرَادُوا أَن يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا مِنْ غَمٍّ أُعِيدُوا فِيهَا وَذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ
English Translation:
Every time they seek to get away therefrom, from anguish, they will be driven back therein, and (it will be) said to them: "Taste the torment of burning!"
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ جب بھی وہاں کے غم سے نکل بھاگنے کا اراده کریں گے وہیں لوٹا دیئے جائیں گے اور (کہا جائے گا) جلنے کا عذاب چکھو!
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا ۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ
English Translation:
Truly, Allah will admit those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, to Gardens underneath which rivers flow (in Paradise), wherein they will be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls and their garments therein will be of silk.
اردو ترجمہ:
ایمان والوں اور نیک کام والوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ ان جنتوں میں لے جائے گا جن کے درختوں تلے سے نہریں لہریں لے رہی ہیں، جہاں وه سونے کے کنگن پہنائے جائیں گے اور سچے موتی بھی۔ وہاں ان کا لباس خالص ریشم ہوگا.
وَهُدُوا إِلَى الطَّيِّبِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَهُدُوا إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْحَمِيدِ
English Translation:
And they are guided (in this world) unto goodly speech (i.e. La ilaha ill-Allah, Alhamdu lillah, recitation of the Quran, etc.) and they are guided to the Path of Him (i.e. Allah's Religion of Islamic Monotheism), Who is Worthy of all praises.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان کو پاکیزه بات کی رہنمائی کر دی گئی اور قابل صد تعریف راه کی ہدایت کر دی گئی.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ الَّذِي جَعَلْنَاهُ لِلنَّاسِ سَوَاءً الْعَاكِفُ فِيهِ وَالْبَادِ ۚ وَمَن يُرِدْ فِيهِ بِإِلْحَادٍ بِظُلْمٍ نُّذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
English Translation:
Verily! Those who disbelieve and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, and from Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah) which We have made (open) to (all) men, the dweller in it and the visitor from the country are equal there [as regards its sanctity and pilgrimage (Hajj and 'Umrah)]. And whoever inclines to evil actions therein or to do wrong (i.e. practise polytheism and leave Islamic Monotheism), him We shall cause to taste a painful torment.
اردو ترجمہ:
جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا اور اللہ کی راه سے روکنے لگے اور اس حرمت والی مسجد سے بھی جسے ہم نے تمام لوگوں کے لئے مساوی کر دیا ہے وہیں کے رہنے والے ہوں یا باہر کے ہوں، جو بھی ظلم کے ساتھ وہاں الحاد کا اراده کرے ہم اسے درد ناک عذاب چکھائیں گے.
وَإِذْ بَوَّأْنَا لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ مَكَانَ الْبَيْتِ أَن لَّا تُشْرِكْ بِي شَيْئًا وَطَهِّرْ بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْقَائِمِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ
English Translation:
And (remember) when We showed Ibrahim (Abraham) the site of the (Sacred) House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) (saying): "Associate not anything (in worship) with Me, [La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah Islamic Monotheism], and sanctify My House for those who circumambulate it, and those who stand up for prayer, and those who bow (submit themselves with humility and obedience to Allah), and make prostration (in prayer, etc.);"
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جبکہ ہم نے ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کو کعبہ کے مکان کی جگہ مقرر کر دی اس شرط پر کہ میرے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کرنا اور میرے گھر کو طواف قیام رکوع سجده کرنے والوں کے لئے پاک صاف رکھنا.
وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَىٰ كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ
English Translation:
And proclaim to mankind the Hajj (pilgrimage). They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, they will come from every deep and distant (wide) mountain highway (to perform Hajj).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور لوگوں میں حج کی منادی کر دے لوگ تیرے پاس پا پیاده بھی آئیں گے اور دبلے پتلے اونٹوں پر بھی اور دور دراز کی تمام راہوں سے آئیں گے.
لِّيَشْهَدُوا مَنَافِعَ لَهُمْ وَيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْلُومَاتٍ عَلَىٰ مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّن بَهِيمَةِ الْأَنْعَامِ ۖ فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا الْبَائِسَ الْفَقِيرَ
English Translation:
That they may witness things that are of benefit to them (i.e. reward of Hajj in the Hereafter, and also some worldly gain from trade, etc.), and mention the Name of Allah on appointed days (i.e. 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th day of Dhul-Hijjah), over the beast of cattle that He has provided for them (for sacrifice) (at the time of their slaughtering by saying: Bismillah, WAllahu-Akbar, Allahumma Minka wa Ilaik). Then eat thereof and feed therewith the poor who have a very hard time.
اردو ترجمہ:
اپنے فائدے حاصل کرنے کو آجائیں اور ان مقرره دنوں میں اللہ کا نام یاد کریں اور چوپایوں پر جو پالتو ہیں۔ پس تم آپ بھی کھاؤ اور بھوکے فقیروں کو بھی کھلاؤ.
ثُمَّ لْيَقْضُوا تَفَثَهُمْ وَلْيُوفُوا نُذُورَهُمْ وَلْيَطَّوَّفُوا بِالْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ
English Translation:
Then let them complete the prescribed duties (Manasik of Hajj) for them, and perform their vows, and circumambulate the Ancient House (the Ka'bah at Makkah).
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر وه اپنا میل کچیل دور کریں اور اپنی نذریں پوری کریں اور اللہ کے قدیم گھر کا طواف کریں.
ذَٰلِكَ وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ حُرُمَاتِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُ عِندَ رَبِّهِ ۗ وَأُحِلَّتْ لَكُمُ الْأَنْعَامُ إِلَّا مَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَاجْتَنِبُوا الرِّجْسَ مِنَ الْأَوْثَانِ وَاجْتَنِبُوا قَوْلَ الزُّورِ
English Translation:
That (Manasik prescribed duties of Hajj is the obligation that mankind owes to Allah), and whoever honours the sacred things of Allah, then that is better for him with his Lord. The cattle are lawful to you, except those (that will be) mentioned to you (as exceptions). So shun the abomination (worshipping) of idol, and shun lying speech (false statements)
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ ہے اور جو کوئی اللہ کی حرمتوں کی تعظیم کرے اس کے اپنے لئے اس کے رب کے پاس بہتری ہے۔ اور تمہارے لئے چوپائے جانور حلال کر دیئے گئے بجز ان کے جو تمہارے سامنے بیان کیے گئے ہیں پس تمہیں بتوں کی گندگی سے بچتے رہنا چاہئے اور جھوٹی بات سے بھی پرہیز کرنا چاہئے.
حُنَفَاءَ لِلَّهِ غَيْرَ مُشْرِكِينَ بِهِ ۚ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَتَخْطَفُهُ الطَّيْرُ أَوْ تَهْوِي بِهِ الرِّيحُ فِي مَكَانٍ سَحِيقٍ
English Translation:
Hunafa' Lillah (i.e. to worship none but Allah), not associating partners (in worship, etc.) unto Him and whoever assigns partners to Allah, it is as if he had fallen from the sky, and the birds had snatched him, or the wind had thrown him to a far off place.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ کی توحید کو مانتے ہوئے اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کرتے ہوئے۔ سنو! اللہ کے ساتھ شریک کرنے والا گویا آسمان سے گر پڑا، اب یا تو اسے پرندے اچک لے جائیں گے یا ہوا کسی دور دراز کی جگہ پھینک دے گی.
ذَٰلِكَ وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ
English Translation:
Thus it is [what has been mentioned in the above said Verses (27, 28, 29, 30, 31) is an obligation that mankind owes to Allah]. And whosoever honours the Symbols of Allah, then it is truly from the piety of the heart.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ سن لیا اب اور سنو! اللہ کی نشانیوں کی جو عزت وحرمت کرے اس کے دل کی پرہیز گاری کی وجہ سے یہ ہے.
لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ مَحِلُّهَا إِلَى الْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ
English Translation:
In them (cattle offered for sacrifice) are benefits for you for an appointed term, and afterwards they are brought for sacrifice unto the ancient House (the Haram - sacred territory of Makkah city).
اردو ترجمہ:
ان میں تمہارے لئے ایک مقرر وقت تک فائده ہے پھر ان کے حلال ہونے کی جگہ خانہ کعبہ ہے.
وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ جَعَلْنَا مَنسَكًا لِّيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَىٰ مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّن بَهِيمَةِ الْأَنْعَامِ ۗ فَإِلَـٰهُكُمْ إِلَـٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَلَهُ أَسْلِمُوا ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُخْبِتِينَ
English Translation:
And for every nation We have appointed religious ceremonies, that they may mention the Name of Allah over the beast of cattle that He has given them for food. And your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God Allah), so you must submit to Him Alone (in Islam). And (O Muhammad SAW) give glad tidings to the Mukhbitin [those who obey Allah with humility and are humble from among the true believers of Islamic Monotheism],
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ہر امت کے لئے ہم نے قربانی کے طریقے مقرر فرمائے ہیں تاکہ وه ان چوپائے جانوروں پر اللہ کا نام لیں جو اللہ نے انہیں دے رکھے ہیں ۔ سمجھ لو کہ تم سب کا معبود برحق صرف ایک ہی ہے تم اسی کے تابع فرمان ہو جاؤ عاجزی کرنے والوں کو خوشخبری سنا دیجئے!
الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَالصَّابِرِينَ عَلَىٰ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ وَالْمُقِيمِي الصَّلَاةِ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ
English Translation:
Whose hearts are filled with fear when Allah is mentioned; who patiently bear whatever may befall them (of calamities); and who perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and who spend (in Allah's Cause) out of what We have provided them.
اردو ترجمہ:
انہیں کہ جب اللہ کا ذکر کیا جائے ان کے دل تھرا جاتے ہیں۔ انہیں جو برائی پہنچے اس پر صبر کرتے ہیں، نماز قائم کرنے والے ہیں اور جو کچھ ہم نے انہیں دے رکھا ہے وه اس میں سے بھی دیتے رہتے ہیں.
وَالْبُدْنَ جَعَلْنَاهَا لَكُم مِّن شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ لَكُمْ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ ۖ فَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا صَوَافَّ ۖ فَإِذَا وَجَبَتْ جُنُوبُهَا فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا الْقَانِعَ وَالْمُعْتَرَّ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ سَخَّرْنَاهَا لَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
English Translation:
And the Budn (cows, oxen, or camels driven to be offered as sacrifices by the pilgrims at the sanctuary of Makkah.) We have made for you as among the Symbols of Allah, therein you have much good. So mention the Name of Allah over them when they are drawn up in lines (for sacrifice). Then, when they are down on their sides (after slaughter), eat thereof, and feed the beggar who does not ask (men), and the beggar who asks (men). Thus have We made them subject to you that you may be grateful.
اردو ترجمہ:
قربانی کے اونٹ ہم نے تمہارے لئے اللہ تعالیٰ کی نشانیاں مقرر کر دی ہیں ان میں تمہیں نفع ہے۔ پس انہیں کھڑا کر کے ان پر اللہ کا نام لو، پھر جب ان کے پہلو زمین سے لگ جائیں اسے (خود بھی) کھاؤ اور مسکین سوال سے رکنے والوں اور سوال کرنے والوں کو بھی کھلاؤ، اسی طرح ہم نے چوپایوں کو تمہارے ماتحت کردیا ہے کہ تم شکر گزاری کرو.
لَن يَنَالَ اللَّهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَاؤُهَا وَلَـٰكِن يَنَالُهُ التَّقْوَىٰ مِنكُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ سَخَّرَهَا لَكُمْ لِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
English Translation:
It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is piety from you that reaches Him. Thus have We made them subject to you that you may magnify Allah for His Guidance to you. And give glad tidings (O Muhammad SAW) to the Muhsinun (doers of good).
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ کو قربانیوں کے گوشت نہیں پہنچتے نہ اس کے خون بلکہ اسے تو تمہارے دل کی پرہیزگاری پہنچتی ہے۔ اسی طرح اللہ نے ان جانوروں کو تمہارے مطیع کر دیا ہے کہ تم اس کی رہنمائی کے شکریئے میں اس کی بڑائیاں بیان کرو، اور نیک لوگوں کو خوشخبری سنا دیجئے!
۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدَافِعُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ خَوَّانٍ كَفُورٍ
English Translation:
Truly, Allah defends those who believe. Verily! Allah likes not any treacherous ingrate to Allah [those who disobey Allah but obey Shaitan (Satan)].
اردو ترجمہ:
سن رکھو! یقیناً سچے مومنوں کے دشمنوں کو خود اللہ تعالیٰ ہٹا دیتا ہے ۔ کوئی خیانت کرنے والا ناشکرا اللہ تعالیٰ کو ہرگز پسند نہیں.
أُذِنَ لِلَّذِينَ يُقَاتَلُونَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ظُلِمُوا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ نَصْرِهِمْ لَقَدِيرٌ
English Translation:
Permission to fight is given to those (i.e. believers against disbelievers), who are fighting them, (and) because they (believers) have been wronged, and surely, Allah is Able to give them (believers) victory
اردو ترجمہ:
جن (مسلمانوں) سے (کافر) جنگ کر رہے ہیں انہیں بھی مقابلے کی اجازت دی جاتی ہے کیونکہ وه مظلوم ہیں ۔ بیشک ان کی مدد پر اللہ قادر ہے.
الَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا مِن دِيَارِهِم بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ إِلَّا أَن يَقُولُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ۗ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ اللَّهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍ لَّهُدِّمَتْ صَوَامِعُ وَبِيَعٌ وَصَلَوَاتٌ وَمَسَاجِدُ يُذْكَرُ فِيهَا اسْمُ اللَّهِ كَثِيرًا ۗ وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ اللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ
English Translation:
Those who have been expelled from their homes unjustly only because they said: "Our Lord is Allah." - For had it not been that Allah checks one set of people by means of another, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, wherein the Name of Allah is mentioned much would surely have been pulled down. Verily, Allah will help those who help His (Cause). Truly, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ وه ہیں جنہیں ناحق اپنے گھروں سے نکالا گیا، صرف ان کےاس قول پر کہ ہمارا پروردگار فقط اللہ ہے۔ اگر اللہ تعالیٰ لوگوں کو آپس میں ایک دوسرے سے نہ ہٹاتا رہتا تو عبادت خانے اور گرجے اور مسجدیں اور یہودیوں کے معبد اور وه مسجدیں بھی ڈھا دی جاتیں جہاں اللہ کا نام بہ کثرت لیا جاتا ہے۔ جو اللہ کی مدد کرے گا اللہ بھی ضرور اس کی مدد کرے گا۔ بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ بڑی قوتوں والا بڑے غلبے والا ہے.
الَّذِينَ إِن مَّكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَمَرُوا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَنَهَوْا عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ عَاقِبَةُ الْأُمُورِ
English Translation:
Those (Muslim rulers) who, if We give them power in the land, (they) order for Iqamat-as-Salat. [i.e. to perform the five compulsory congregational Salat (prayers) (the males in mosques)], to pay the Zakat and they enjoin Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do), and forbid Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism and all that Islam has forbidden) [i.e. they make the Quran as the law of their country in all the spheres of life]. And with Allah rests the end of (all) matters (of creatures).
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ وه لوگ ہیں کہ اگر ہم زمین میں ان کے پاؤں جما دیں تو یہ پوری پابندی سے نمازیں قائم کریں اور زکوٰتیں دیں اور اچھے کاموں کا حکم کریں اور برے کاموں سے منع کریں ۔ تمام کاموں کا انجام اللہ کے اختیار میں ہے.
وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَعَادٌ وَثَمُودُ
English Translation:
And if they belie you (O Muhammad SAW), so were belied the Prophets before them, (by) the people of Nuh (Noah), 'Ad and Thamud,
اردو ترجمہ:
اگر یہ لوگ آپ کو جھٹلائیں (تو کوئی تعجب کی بات نہیں) تو ان سے پہلے نوح کی قوم اور عاد اور ﺛمود.
وَقَوْمُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍ
English Translation:
And the people of Ibrahim (Abraham) and the people of Lout (Lot),
اردو ترجمہ:
اور قوم ابراہیم اور قوم لوط.
وَأَصْحَابُ مَدْيَنَ ۖ وَكُذِّبَ مُوسَىٰ فَأَمْلَيْتُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
English Translation:
And the dwellers of Madyan (Midian); and belied was Musa (Moses), but I granted respite to the disbelievers for a while, then I seized them, and how (terrible) was My Punishment (against their wrong-doing).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور مدین والے بھی اپنے اپنے نبیوں کو جھٹلا چکے ہیں۔ موسیٰ (علیہ السلام) بھی جھٹلائے جا چکے ہیں پس میں نے کافروں کو یوں ہی سی مہلت دی پھر دھر دبایا ، پھر میرا عذاب کیسا ہوا؟
فَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ فَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا وَبِئْرٍ مُّعَطَّلَةٍ وَقَصْرٍ مَّشِيدٍ
English Translation:
And many a township have We destroyed while it was given to wrong-doing, so that it lies in ruins (up to this day), and (many) a deserted well and lofty castles!
اردو ترجمہ:
بہت سی بستیاں ہیں جنہیں ہم نے تہ وبالا کر دیا اس لئے کہ وه ظالم تھے پس وه اپنی چھتوں کے بل اوندھی ہوئی پڑی ہیں اور بہت سے آباد کنوئیں بیکار پڑے ہیں اور بہت سے پکے اور بلند محل ویران پڑے ہیں.
أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ يَعْقِلُونَ بِهَا أَوْ آذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا ۖ فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَى الْأَبْصَارُ وَلَـٰكِن تَعْمَى الْقُلُوبُ الَّتِي فِي الصُّدُورِ
English Translation:
Have they not travelled through the land, and have they hearts wherewith to understand and ears wherewith to hear? Verily, it is not the eyes that grow blind, but it is the hearts which are in the breasts that grow blind.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سیر وسیاحت نہیں کی جو ان کے دل ان باتوں کے سمجھنے والے ہوتے یا کانوں سے ہی ان (واقعات) کو سن لیتے، بات یہ ہے کہ صرف آنکھیں ہی اندھی نہیں ہوتیں بلکہ وه دل اندھے ہو جاتے ہیں جو سینوں میں ہیں.
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ وَلَن يُخْلِفَ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ ۚ وَإِنَّ يَوْمًا عِندَ رَبِّكَ كَأَلْفِ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ
English Translation:
And they ask you to hasten on the torment! And Allah fails not His Promise. And verily, a day with your Lord is as a thousand years of what you reckon.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ ہرگز اپنا وعده نہیں ٹالے گا۔ ہاں البتہ آپ کے رب کے نزدیک ایک دن تمہاری گنتی کے اعتبار سے ایک ہزار سال کا ہے.
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَمْلَيْتُ لَهَا وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهَا وَإِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ
English Translation:
And many a township did I give respite while it was given to wrong-doing. Then (in the end) I seized it (with punishment). And to Me is the (final) return (of all).
اردو ترجمہ:
بہت سی ظلم کرنے والی بستیوں کو میں نے ڈھیل دی پھر آخر انہیں پکڑ لیا، اور میری ہی طرف لوٹ کر آنا ہے.
قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّمَا أَنَا لَكُمْ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
English Translation:
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "O mankind! I am (sent) to you only as a plain warner."
اردو ترجمہ:
اعلان کر دو کہ لوگو! میں تمہیں کھلم کھلا چوکنا کرنے والا ہی ہوں.
فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ
English Translation:
So those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, for them is forgiveness and Rizqun Karim (generous provision, i.e. Paradise).
اردو ترجمہ:
پس جو ایمان لائے ہیں اور جنہوں نے نیک عمل کیے ہیں ان ہی کے لئے بخشش ہے اور عزت والی روزی.
وَالَّذِينَ سَعَوْا فِي آيَاتِنَا مُعَاجِزِينَ أُولَـٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ
English Translation:
But those who strive against Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), to frustrate and obstruct them, they will be dwellers of the Hell-fire.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جو لوگ ہماری نشانیوں کو پست کرنے کے درپے رہتے ہیں وہی دوزخی ہیں.
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍ وَلَا نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا إِذَا تَمَنَّىٰ أَلْقَى الشَّيْطَانُ فِي أُمْنِيَّتِهِ فَيَنسَخُ اللَّهُ مَا يُلْقِي الشَّيْطَانُ ثُمَّ يُحْكِمُ اللَّهُ آيَاتِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
English Translation:
Never did We send a Messenger or a Prophet before you, but; when he did recite the revelation or narrated or spoke, Shaitan (Satan) threw (some falsehood) in it. But Allah abolishes that which Shaitan (Satan) throws in. Then Allah establishes His Revelations. And Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise:
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم نے آپ سے پہلے جس رسول اور نبی کو بھیجا اس کے ساتھ یہ ہوا کہ جب وه اپنے دل میں کوئی آرزو کرنے لگا شیطان نے اس کی آرزو میں کچھ ملا دیا، پس شیطان کی ملاوٹ کو اللہ تعالیٰ دور کر دیتا ہے پھر اپنی باتیں پکی کر دیتا ہے ۔ اللہ تعالیٰ دانا اور باحکمت ہے.
لِّيَجْعَلَ مَا يُلْقِي الشَّيْطَانُ فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ وَالْقَاسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ وَإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَفِي شِقَاقٍ بَعِيدٍ
English Translation:
That He (Allah) may make what is thrown in by Shaitan (Satan) a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy and disbelief) and whose hearts are hardened. And certainly, the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) are in an opposition far-off (from the truth against Allah's Messenger and the believers).
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ اس لئے کہ شیطانی ملاوٹ کو اللہ تعالیٰ ان لوگوں کی آزمائش کا ذریعہ بنا دے جن کے دلوں میں بیماری ہے اور جن کے دل سخت ہیں ۔ بیشک ظالم لوگ گہری مخالفت میں ہیں.
وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَيُؤْمِنُوا بِهِ فَتُخْبِتَ لَهُ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَهَادِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
English Translation:
And that those who have been given knowledge may know that it (this Quran) is the truth from your Lord, and that they may believe therein, and their hearts may submit to it with humility. And verily, Allah is the Guide of those who believe, to the Straight Path.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اس لئے بھی کہ جنہیں علم عطا فرمایا گیا ہے وه یقین کر لیں کہ یہ آپ کے رب ہی کی طرف سے سراسر حق ہی ہے پھر وه اس پر ایمان لائیں اور ان کے دل اس کی طرف جھک جائیں ۔ یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ ایمان داروں کو راه راست کی طرف رہبری کرنے والا ہی ہے.
وَلَا يَزَالُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِّنْهُ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَقِيمٍ
English Translation:
And those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt about it (this Quran) until the Hour comes suddenly upon them, or there comes to them the torment of the Day after which there will be no night (i.e. the Day of Resurrection).
اردو ترجمہ:
کافر اس وحی الٰہی میں ہمیشہ شک شبہ ہی کرتے رہیں گے حتیٰ کہ اچانک ان کے سروں پر قیامت آجائے یا ان کے پاس اس دن کا عذاب آجائے جو منحوس ہے.
الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
English Translation:
The sovereignty on that Day will be that of Allah (the one Who has no partners). He will judge between them. So those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and did righteous good deeds will be in Gardens of delight (Paradise).
اردو ترجمہ:
اس دن صرف اللہ ہی کی بادشاہت ہوگی وہی ان میں فیصلے فرمائے گا۔ ایمان اور نیک عمل والے تو نعمتوں سے بھری جنتوں میں ہوں گے.
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا فَأُولَـٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ
English Translation:
And those who disbelieved and belied Our Verses (of this Quran), for them will be a humiliating torment (in Hell).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا اور ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا ان کے لئے ذلیل کرنے والے عذاب ہیں.
وَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ قُتِلُوا أَوْ مَاتُوا لَيَرْزُقَنَّهُمُ اللَّهُ رِزْقًا حَسَنًا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
English Translation:
Those who emigrated in the Cause of Allah and after that were killed or died, surely, Allah will provide a good provision for them. And verily, it is Allah Who indeed is the Best of those who make provision.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جن لوگوں نے راه خدا میں ترک وطن کیا پھر وه شہید کر دیئے گئے یا اپنی موت مر گئے اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں بہترین رزق عطا فرمائے گا۔ اور بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ روزی دینے والوں میں سب سے بہتر ہے.
لَيُدْخِلَنَّهُم مُّدْخَلًا يَرْضَوْنَهُ ۗ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَعَلِيمٌ حَلِيمٌ
English Translation:
Truly, He will make them enter an entrance with which they shall be well-pleased, and verily, Allah indeed is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.
اردو ترجمہ:
انہیں اللہ تعالیٰ ایسی جگہ پہنچائے گا کہ وه اس سے راضی ہو جائیں گے ، بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ علم اور بردباری والا ہے.
۞ ذَٰلِكَ وَمَنْ عَاقَبَ بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبَ بِهِ ثُمَّ بُغِيَ عَلَيْهِ لَيَنصُرَنَّهُ اللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُورٌ
English Translation:
That is so. And whoever has retaliated with the like of that which he was made to suffer, and then has again been wronged, Allah will surely help him. Verily! Allah indeed is Oft-Pardoning, Oft-Forgiving.
اردو ترجمہ:
بات یہی ہے ، اور جس نے بدلہ لیا اسی کے برابر جو اس کے ساتھ کیا گیا تھا پھر اگر اس سے زیادتی کی جائے تو یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ خود اس کی مدد فرمائے گا۔ بیشک اللہ درگزر کرنے والا بخشنے والا ہے.
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ
English Translation:
That is because Allah merges the night into the day, and He merges the day into the night. And verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Seer.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ اس لئے کہ اللہ رات کو دن میں داخل کرتا ہے اور دن کو رات میں داخل کرتا ہے ، اور بیشک اللہ سننے والا دیکھنے والا ہے.
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ هُوَ الْبَاطِلُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ
English Translation:
That is because Allah He is the Truth (the only True God of all that exists, Who has no partners or rivals with Him), and what they (the polytheists) invoke besides Him, it is Batil (falsehood) And verily, Allah He is the Most High, the Most Great.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ سب اس لئے کہ اللہ ہی حق ہے اور اس کے سوا جسے بھی یہ پکارتے ہیں وه باطل ہے اور بیشک اللہ ہی بلندی والا کبریائی والا ہے.
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَتُصْبِحُ الْأَرْضُ مُخْضَرَّةً ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌ
English Translation:
See you not that Allah sends down water (rain) from the sky, and then the earth becomes green? Verily, Allah is the Most Kind and Courteous, Well-Acquainted with all things.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا آپ نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ آسمان سے پانی برساتا ہے، پس زمین سرسبز ہو جاتی ہے۔ بے شک اللہ تعالیٰ مہربان اور باخبر ہے.
لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
English Translation:
To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth. And verily, Allah He is Rich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise.
اردو ترجمہ:
آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو کچھ ہے اسی کا ہے اور یقیناً اللہ وہی ہے بے نیاز تعریفوں والا.
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَالْفُلْكَ تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِهِ وَيُمْسِكُ السَّمَاءَ أَن تَقَعَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِالنَّاسِ لَرَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ
English Translation:
See you not that Allah has subjected to you (mankind) all that is on the earth, and the ships that sail through the sea by His Command? He withholds the heaven from falling on the earth except by His Leave. Verily, Allah is, for mankind, full of Kindness, Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا آپ نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ ہی نے زمین کی تمام چیزیں تمہارے لئے مسخر کر دی ہیں اور اس کے فرمان سے پانی میں چلتی ہوئی کشتیاں بھی۔ وہی آسمان کو تھامے ہوئے ہے کہ زمین پر اس کی اجازت کے بغیر نہ گر پڑے، بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ لوگوں پر شفقت ونرمی کرنے والا اور مہربان ہے.
وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَحْيَاكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَكَفُورٌ
English Translation:
It is He, Who gave you life, and then will cause you to die, and will again give you life (on the Day of Resurrection). Verily! Man is indeed an ingrate.
اردو ترجمہ:
اسی نے تمہیں زندگی بخشی، پھر وہی تمہیں مار ڈالے گا پھر وہی تمہیں زنده کرے گا، بے شک انسان البتہ ناشکرا ہے.
لِّكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ جَعَلْنَا مَنسَكًا هُمْ نَاسِكُوهُ ۖ فَلَا يُنَازِعُنَّكَ فِي الْأَمْرِ ۚ وَادْعُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ۖ إِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ هُدًى مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
English Translation:
For every nation We have ordained religious ceremonies [e.g. slaughtering of the beast of cattle during the three days of stay at Mina (Makkah) during the Hajj (pilgrimage)] which they must follow; so let them (pagans) not dispute with you on the matter (i.e. to eat of the cattle which you slaughter, and not to eat of cattle which Allah kills by its natural death), but invite them to your Lord. Verily! You (O Muhammad SAW) indeed are on the (true) straight guidance. (i.e. the true religion of Islamic Monotheism).
اردو ترجمہ:
ہر امت کے لئے ہم نے عبادت کا ایک طریقہ مقرر کر دیا ہے، جسے وه بجا لانے والے ہیں پس انہیں اس امر میں آپ سے جھگڑا نہ کرنا چاہئے آپ اپنے پروردگار کی طرف لوگوں کو بلائیے۔ یقیناً آپ ٹھیک ہدایت پر ہی ہیں.
وَإِن جَادَلُوكَ فَقُلِ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
English Translation:
And if they argue with you (as regards the slaughtering of the sacrifices), say; "Allah knows best of what you do.
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر بھی اگر یہ لوگ آپ سے الجھنے لگیں تو آپ کہہ دیں کہ تمہارے اعمال سے اللہ بخوبی واقف ہے.
اللَّهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ
English Translation:
"Allah will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein you used to differ."
اردو ترجمہ:
بیشک تمہارے سب کے اختلاف کا فیصلہ قیامت والے دن اللہ تعالیٰ آپ کرے گا.
أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ فِي كِتَابٍ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ
English Translation:
Know you not that Allah knows all that is in heaven and on earth? Verily, it is (all) in the Book (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). Verily! That is easy for Allah.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا آپ نے نہیں جانا کہ آسمان وزمین کی ہر چیز اللہ کے علم میں ہے۔ یہ سب لکھی ہوئی کتاب میں محفوظ ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ پر تو یہ امر بالکل آسان ہے.
وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَمَا لَيْسَ لَهُم بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۗ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍ
English Translation:
And they worship besides Allah others for which He has sent down no authority, and of which they have no knowledge and for the Zalimun (wrong-doers, polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) there is no helper.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور یہ اللہ کے سوا ان کی عبادت کر رہے ہیں جس کی کوئی الہی دلیل نازل نہیں ہوئی نہ وه خود ہی اس کا کوئی علم رکھتے ہیں ۔ ظالموں کا کوئی مددگار نہیں.
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا الْمُنكَرَ ۖ يَكَادُونَ يَسْطُونَ بِالَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِنَا ۗ قُلْ أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَٰلِكُمُ ۗ النَّارُ وَعَدَهَا اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ
English Translation:
And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, you will notice a denial on the faces of the disbelievers! They are nearly ready to attack with violence those who recite Our Verses to them. Say: "Shall I tell you of something worse than that? The Fire (of Hell) which Allah has promised to those who disbelieve, and worst indeed is that destination!"
اردو ترجمہ:
جب ان کے سامنے ہمارے کلام کی کھلی ہوئی آیتوں کی تلاوت کی جاتی ہے تو آپ کافروں کے چہروں پر ناخوشی کے صاف آﺛار پہچان لیتے ہیں۔ وه تو قریب ہوتے ہیں کہ ہماری آیتیں سنانے والوں پر حملہ کر بیٹھیں ، کہہ دیجئے کہ کیا میں تمہیں اس سے بھی زیاده بدتر خبر دوں۔ وه آگ ہے، جس کا وعده اللہ نے کافروں سے کر رکھا ہے، اور وه بہت ہی بری جگہ ہے.
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ضُرِبَ مَثَلٌ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ لَن يَخْلُقُوا ذُبَابًا وَلَوِ اجْتَمَعُوا لَهُ ۖ وَإِن يَسْلُبْهُمُ الذُّبَابُ شَيْئًا لَّا يَسْتَنقِذُوهُ مِنْهُ ۚ ضَعُفَ الطَّالِبُ وَالْمَطْلُوبُ
English Translation:
O mankind! A similitude has been coined, so listen to it (carefully): Verily! Those on whom you call besides Allah, cannot create (even) a fly, even though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly snatched away a thing from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly. So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought.
اردو ترجمہ:
لوگو! ایک مثال بیان کی جا رہی ہے، ذرا کان لگا کر سن لو! اللہ کے سوا جن جن کو تم پکارتے رہے ہو وه ایک مکھی بھی تو پیدا نہیں کر سکتے، گو سارے کے سارے ہی جمع ہو جائیں ، بلکہ اگر مکھی ان سے کوئی چیز لے بھاگے تو یہ تو اسے بھی اس سے چھین نہیں سکتے، بڑا بودا ہے طلب کرنے والا اور بڑا بودا ہے وه جس سے طلب کیا جا رہا ہے.
مَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ
English Translation:
They have not estimated Allah His Rightful Estimate; Verily, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty.
اردو ترجمہ:
انہوں نے اللہ کے مرتبہ کے مطابق اس کی قدر جانی ہی نہیں ، اللہ تعالیٰ بڑا ہی زور وقوت والا اور غالب وزبردست ہے.
اللَّهُ يَصْطَفِي مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا وَمِنَ النَّاسِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ
English Translation:
Allah chooses Messengers from angels and from men. Verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Seer.
اردو ترجمہ:
فرشتوں میں سے اور انسانوں میں سے پیغام پہونچانے والوں کو اللہ ہی چھانٹ لیتا ہے، بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ سننے والا دیکھنے والا ہے.
يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۗ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ
English Translation:
He knows what is before them, and what is behind them. And to Allah return all matters (for decision).
اردو ترجمہ:
وه بخوبی جانتا ہے جو کچھ ان کے آگے ہے اور جو کچھ ان کے پیچھے ہے، اور اللہ ہی کی طرف سب کام لوٹائے جاتے ہیں.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ارْكَعُوا وَاسْجُدُوا وَاعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَافْعَلُوا الْخَيْرَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ۩
English Translation:
O you who believe! Bow down, and prostrate yourselves, and worship your Lord and do good that you may be successful.
اردو ترجمہ:
اے ایمان والو! رکوع سجده کرتے رہو اور اپنے پروردگار کی عبادت میں لگے رہو اور نیک کام کرتے رہو تاکہ تم کامیاب ہو جاؤ.
وَجَاهِدُوا فِي اللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ ۚ هُوَ اجْتَبَاكُمْ وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ مِنْ حَرَجٍ ۚ مِّلَّةَ أَبِيكُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ۚ هُوَ سَمَّاكُمُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مِن قَبْلُ وَفِي هَـٰذَا لِيَكُونَ الرَّسُولُ شَهِيدًا عَلَيْكُمْ وَتَكُونُوا شُهَدَاءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ ۚ فَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِاللَّهِ هُوَ مَوْلَاكُمْ ۖ فَنِعْمَ الْمَوْلَىٰ وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ
English Translation:
And strive hard in Allah's Cause as you ought to strive (with sincerity and with all your efforts that His Name should be superior). He has chosen you (to convey His Message of Islamic Monotheism to mankind by inviting them to His religion, Islam), and has not laid upon you in religion any hardship, it is the religion of your father Ibrahim (Abraham) (Islamic Monotheism). It is He (Allah) Who has named you Muslims both before and in this (the Quran), that the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) may be a witness over you and you be witnesses over mankind! So perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), give Zakat and hold fast to Allah [i.e. have confidence in Allah, and depend upon Him in all your affairs] He is your Maula (Patron, Lord, etc.), what an Excellent Maula (Patron, Lord, etc.) and what an Excellent Helper!
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اللہ کی راه میں ویسا ہی جہاد کرو جیسا جہاد کا حق ہے ۔ اسی نے تمہیں برگزیده بنایا ہے اور تم پر دین کے بارے میں کوئی تنگی نہیں ڈالی، دین اپنے باپ ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کا قائم رکھو، اسی اللہ نے تمہارا نام مسلمان رکھا ہے۔ اس قرآن سے پہلے اور اس میں بھی تاکہ پیغمبر تم پر گواه ہو جائے اور تم تمام لوگوں کے گواه بن جاؤ۔ پس تمہیں چاہئے کہ نمازیں قائم رکھو اور زکوٰة ادا کرتے رہو اور اللہ کو مضبوط تھام لو، وہی تمہارا ولی اور مالک ہے۔ پس کیا ہی اچھا مالک ہے اور کتنا ہی بہتر مددگار ہے.
