Al-Ahzaab - الأحزاب (Surah 33)
73 Verses • Medinan Revelation
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ اتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَلَا تُطِعِ الْكَافِرِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا
English Translation:
O Prophet (Muhammad SAW)! Keep your duty to Allah, and obey not the disbelievers and the hypocrites (i.e., do not follow their advices). Verily! Allah is Ever AllKnower, AllWise.
اردو ترجمہ:
اے نبی! اللہ تعالیٰ سے ڈرتے رہنا اور کافروں اور منافقوں کی باتوں میں نہ آجانا، اللہ تعالیٰ بڑے علم والا اور بڑی حکمت والا ہے.
وَاتَّبِعْ مَا يُوحَىٰ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا
English Translation:
And follow that which is inspired in you from your Lord. Verily, Allah is WellAcquainted with what you do.
اردو ترجمہ:
جو کچھ آپ کی جانب آپ کے رب کی طرف سے وحی کی جاتی ہے اس کی تابعداری کریں (یقین مانو) کہ اللہ تمہارے ہر ایک عمل سے باخبر ہے.
وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا
English Translation:
And put your trust in Allah, and Sufficient is Allah as a Wakil (Trustee, or Disposer of affairs).
اردو ترجمہ:
آپ اللہ ہی پر توکل رکھیں ، وه کار سازی کے لئے کافی ہے.
مَّا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِرَجُلٍ مِّن قَلْبَيْنِ فِي جَوْفِهِ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَزْوَاجَكُمُ اللَّائِي تُظَاهِرُونَ مِنْهُنَّ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَدْعِيَاءَكُمْ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ قَوْلُكُم بِأَفْوَاهِكُمْ ۖ وَاللَّهُ يَقُولُ الْحَقَّ وَهُوَ يَهْدِي السَّبِيلَ
English Translation:
Allah has not put for any man two hearts inside his body. Neither has He made your wives whom you declare to be like your mothers' backs, your real mothers. [AzZihar is the saying of a husband to his wife, "You are to me like the back of my mother" i.e. You are unlawful for me to approach.], nor has He made your adopted sons your real sons. That is but your saying with your mouths. But Allah says the truth, and He guides to the (Right) Way.
اردو ترجمہ:
کسی آدمی کے سینے میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے دو دل نہیں رکھے ، اور اپنی جن بیویوں کو تم ماں کہہ بیٹھتے ہو انہیں اللہ نے تمہاری (سچ مچ کی) مائیں نہیں بنایا، اور نہ تمہارے لے پالک لڑکوں کو (واقعی) تمہارے بیٹے بنایا ہے، یہ تو تمہارے اپنے منھ کی باتیں ہیں، اللہ تعالیٰ حق بات فرماتا ہے اور وه (سیدھی) راه سجھاتا ہے.
ادْعُوهُمْ لِآبَائِهِمْ هُوَ أَقْسَطُ عِندَ اللَّهِ ۚ فَإِن لَّمْ تَعْلَمُوا آبَاءَهُمْ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَمَوَالِيكُمْ ۚ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ فِيمَا أَخْطَأْتُم بِهِ وَلَـٰكِن مَّا تَعَمَّدَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
English Translation:
Call them (adopted sons) by (the names of) their fathers, that is more just with Allah. But if you know not their father's (names, call them) your brothers in faith and Mawalikum (your freed slaves). And there is no sin on you if you make a mistake therein, except in regard to what your hearts deliberately intend. And Allah is Ever OftForgiving, Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
لے پالکوں کو ان کے (حقیقی) باپوں کی طرف نسبت کر کے بلاؤ اللہ کے نزدیک پورا انصاف یہی ہے۔ پھر اگر تمہیں ان کے (حقیقی) باپوں کا علم ہی نہ ہو تو وه تمہارے دینی بھائی اور دوست ہیں، تم سے بھول چوک میں جو کچھ ہو جائے اس میں تم پر کوئی گناه نہیں، البتہ گناه وه ہے جس کا تم اراده دل سے کرو۔ اللہ تعالیٰ بڑا ہی بخشنے والا مہربان ہے.
النَّبِيُّ أَوْلَىٰ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ ۖ وَأَزْوَاجُهُ أُمَّهَاتُهُمْ ۗ وَأُولُو الْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِبَعْضٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ إِلَّا أَن تَفْعَلُوا إِلَىٰ أَوْلِيَائِكُم مَّعْرُوفًا ۚ كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَسْطُورًا
English Translation:
The Prophet is closer to the believers than their ownselves, and his wives are their (believers') mothers (as regards respect and marriage). And blood relations among each other have closer personal ties in the Decree of Allah (regarding inheritance) than (the brotherhood of) the believers and the Muhajirun (emigrants from Makkah, etc.), except that you do kindness to those brothers (when the Prophet SAW joined them in brotherhood ties). This has been written in the (Allah's Book of Divine) Decrees (AlLauh AlMahfuz)."
اردو ترجمہ:
پیغمبر مومنوں پر خود ان سے بھی زیاده حق رکھنے والے ہیں اور پیغمبر کی بیویاں مومنوں کی مائیں ہیں، اور رشتے دار کتاب اللہ کی رو سے بہ نسبت دوسرے مومنوں اور مہاجروں کے آپس میں زیاده حق دار ہیں (ہاں) مگر یہ کہ تم اپنے دوستوں کے ساتھ حسن سلوک کرنا چاہو۔ یہ حکم کتاب (الٰہی) میں لکھا ہوا ہے.
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ مِيثَاقَهُمْ وَمِنكَ وَمِن نُّوحٍ وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ ۖ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُم مِّيثَاقًا غَلِيظًا
English Translation:
And (remember) when We took from the Prophets their covenant, and from you (O Muhammad SAW), and from Nuh (Noah), Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses), and 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). We took from them a strong covenant.
اردو ترجمہ:
جب کہ ہم نے تمام نبیوں سے عہد لیا اور (بالخصوص) آپ سے اور نوح سے اور ابراہیم سے اور موسیٰ سے اور مریم کے بیٹے عیسیٰ سے، اور ہم نے ان سے (پکا اور) پختہ عہد لیا.
لِّيَسْأَلَ الصَّادِقِينَ عَن صِدْقِهِمْ ۚ وَأَعَدَّ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
English Translation:
That He may ask the truthfuls (Allah's Messengers and His Prophets) about their truth (i.e. the conveyance of Allah's Message that which they were charged with). And He has prepared for the disbelievers a painful torment (Hell-fire).
اردو ترجمہ:
تاکہ اللہ تعالیٰ سچوں سے ان کی سچائی کے بارے میں دریافت فرمائے ، اور کافروں کے لئے ہم نے المناک عذاب تیار کر رکھے ہیں.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَاءَتْكُمْ جُنُودٌ فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا وَجُنُودًا لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا
English Translation:
O you who believe! Remember Allah's Favour to you, when there came against you hosts, and We sent against them a wind and forces that you saw not [i.e. troops of angels during the battle of AlAhzab (the Confederates)]. And Allah is Ever AllSeer of what you do.
اردو ترجمہ:
اے ایمان والو! اللہ تعالیٰ نے جو احسان تم پر کیا اسے یاد کرو جبکہ تمہارے مقابلے کو فوجوں پر فوجیں آئیں پھر ہم نے ان پر تیز وتند آندھی اور ایسے لشکر بھیجے جنہیں تم نے دیکھا ہی نہیں ، اور جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو اللہ تعالیٰ سب کچھ دیکھتا ہے.
إِذْ جَاءُوكُم مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ وَمِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ وَإِذْ زَاغَتِ الْأَبْصَارُ وَبَلَغَتِ الْقُلُوبُ الْحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّونَ بِاللَّهِ الظُّنُونَا
English Translation:
When they came upon you from above you and from below you, and when the eyes grew wild and the hearts reached to the throats, and you were harbouring doubts about Allah.
اردو ترجمہ:
جب کہ (دشمن) تمہارے پاس اوپر سے اور نیچے سے چڑھ آئے اور جب کہ آنکھیں پتھرا گئیں اور کلیجے منھ کو آگئے اور تم اللہ تعالیٰ کی نسبت طرح طرح کے گمان کرنے لگے.
هُنَالِكَ ابْتُلِيَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَزُلْزِلُوا زِلْزَالًا شَدِيدًا
English Translation:
There, the believers were tried and shaken with a mighty shaking.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہیں مومن آزمائے گئے اور پوری طرح وه جھنجھوڑ دیئے گئے.
وَإِذْ يَقُولُ الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ مَّا وَعَدَنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ إِلَّا غُرُورًا
English Translation:
And when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease (of doubts) said: "Allah and His Messenger (SAW) promised us nothing but delusions!"
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اس وقت منافق اور وه لوگ جن کے دلوں میں (شک کا) روگ تھا کہنے لگے اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے رسول نے ہم سے محض دھوکا فریب کا ہی وعده کیا تھا.
وَإِذْ قَالَت طَّائِفَةٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَا أَهْلَ يَثْرِبَ لَا مُقَامَ لَكُمْ فَارْجِعُوا ۚ وَيَسْتَأْذِنُ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمُ النَّبِيَّ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ بُيُوتَنَا عَوْرَةٌ وَمَا هِيَ بِعَوْرَةٍ ۖ إِن يُرِيدُونَ إِلَّا فِرَارًا
English Translation:
And when a party of them said: "O people of Yathrib (AlMadinah)! There is no stand (possible) for you (against the enemy attack!) Therefore go back!" And a band of them ask for permission of the Prophet (SAW) saying: "Truly, our homes lie open (to the enemy)." And they lay not open. They but wished to flee.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان ہی کی ایک جماعت نے ہانک لگائی کہ اے مدینہ والو ! تمہارے لئے ٹھکانہ نہیں چلو لوٹ چلو، اور ان کی ایک اور جماعت یہ کہہ کر نبی ﴿صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم﴾ سے اجازت مانگنے لگی کہ ہمارے گھر غیر محفوظ ہیں، حالانکہ وه (کھلے ہوئے اور) غیر محفوظ نہ تھے (لیکن) ان کا پختہ اراده بھاگ کھڑے ہونے کا تھا.
وَلَوْ دُخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَقْطَارِهَا ثُمَّ سُئِلُوا الْفِتْنَةَ لَآتَوْهَا وَمَا تَلَبَّثُوا بِهَا إِلَّا يَسِيرًا
English Translation:
And if the enemy had entered from all sides (of the city), and they had been exhorted to AlFitnah (i.e. to renegade from Islam to polytheism) they would surely have committed it and would have hesitated thereupon but little.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اگر مدینے کے اطراف سے ان پر (لشکر) داخل کیے جاتے پھر ان سے فتنہ طلب کیا جاتا تو یہ ضرور اسے برپا کر دیتے اور نہ لڑتے مگر تھوڑی مدت.
وَلَقَدْ كَانُوا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ مِن قَبْلُ لَا يُوَلُّونَ الْأَدْبَارَ ۚ وَكَانَ عَهْدُ اللَّهِ مَسْئُولًا
English Translation:
And indeed they had already made a covenant with Allah not to turn their backs, and a covenant with Allah must be answered for.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس سے پہلے تو انہوں نے اللہ سے عہد کیا تھا کہ پیٹھ نہ پھیریں گے ، اور اللہ تعالیٰ سے کیے ہوئے وعده کی باز پرس ضرور ہوگی.
قُل لَّن يَنفَعَكُمُ الْفِرَارُ إِن فَرَرْتُم مِّنَ الْمَوْتِ أَوِ الْقَتْلِ وَإِذًا لَّا تُمَتَّعُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
English Translation:
Say (O Muhammad SAW to these hypocrites who ask your permission to run away from you): "Flight will not avail you if you flee from death or killing, and then you will enjoy no more than a little while!"
اردو ترجمہ:
کہہ دیجئے کہ گو تم موت سے یا خوف قتل سے بھاگو تو یہ بھاگنا تمہیں کچھ بھی کام نہ آئے گا اور اس وقت تم بہت ہی کم فائده اٹھاؤ گے.
قُلْ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَعْصِمُكُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ سُوءًا أَوْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ رَحْمَةً ۚ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا
English Translation:
Say: "Who is he who can protect you from Allah if He intends to harm you, or intends mercy on you?" And they will not find, besides Allah, for themselves any Wali (protector, supporter, etc.) or any helper.
اردو ترجمہ:
پوچھیئے! تو کہ اگر اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں کوئی برائی پہنچانا چاہے یا تم پر کوئی فضل کرنا چاہے تو کون ہے جو تمہیں بچا سکے (یا تم سے روک سکے؟) ، اپنے لیے بجز اللہ تعالیٰ کے نہ کوئی حمایتی پائیں گے نہ مددگار.
۞ قَدْ يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنكُمْ وَالْقَائِلِينَ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ هَلُمَّ إِلَيْنَا ۖ وَلَا يَأْتُونَ الْبَأْسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
English Translation:
Allah already knows those among you who keep back (men) from fighting in Allah's Cause, and those who say to their brethren "Come here towards us," while they (themselves) come not to the battle except a little.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ تم میں سے انہیں (بخوبی) جانتا ہے جو دوسروں کو روکتے ہیں اور اپنے بھائی بندوں سے کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارے پاس چلے آؤ۔ اور کبھی کبھی ہی لڑائی میں آجاتے ہیں.
أَشِحَّةً عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ الْخَوْفُ رَأَيْتَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ تَدُورُ أَعْيُنُهُمْ كَالَّذِي يُغْشَىٰ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ ۖ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ الْخَوْفُ سَلَقُوكُم بِأَلْسِنَةٍ حِدَادٍ أَشِحَّةً عَلَى الْخَيْرِ ۚ أُولَـٰئِكَ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا فَأَحْبَطَ اللَّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا
English Translation:
Being miserly towards you (as regards help and aid in Allah's Cause). Then when fear comes, you will see them looking to you, their eyes revolving like (those of) one over whom hovers death, but when the fear departs, they will smite you with sharp tongues, miserly towards (spending anything in any) good (and only covetous of booty and wealth). Such have not believed. Therefore Allah makes their deeds fruitless, and that is ever easy for Allah.
اردو ترجمہ:
تمہاری مدد میں (پورے) بخیل ہیں ، پھر جب خوف ودہشت کا موقعہ آجائے تو آپ انہیں دیکھیں گے کہ آپ کی طرف نظریں جما دیتے ہیں اور ان کی انکھیں اس طرح گھومتی ہیں جیسے اس شخص کی جس پر موت کی غشی طاری ہو۔ پھر جب خوف جاتا رہتا ہے تو تم پر اپنی تیز زبانوں سے بڑی باتیں بناتے ہیں مال کے بڑے ہی حریص ہیں، یہ ایمان لائے ہی نہیں ہیں اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کے تمام اعمال نابود کر دیئے ہیں، اور اللہ تعالیٰ پر یہ بہت ہی آسان ہے.
يَحْسَبُونَ الْأَحْزَابَ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا ۖ وَإِن يَأْتِ الْأَحْزَابُ يَوَدُّوا لَوْ أَنَّهُم بَادُونَ فِي الْأَعْرَابِ يَسْأَلُونَ عَنْ أَنبَائِكُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ كَانُوا فِيكُم مَّا قَاتَلُوا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
English Translation:
They think that AlAhzab (the Confederates) have not yet withdrawn, and if AlAhzab (the Confederates) should come (again), they would wish they were in the deserts (wandering) among the bedouins, seeking news about you (from a far place); and if they (happen) to be among you, they would not fight but little.
اردو ترجمہ:
سمجھتے ہیں کہ اب تک لشکر چلے نہیں گئے ، اور اگر فوجیں آجائیں تو تمنائیں کرتے ہیں کہ کاش! وه صحرا میں بادیہ نشینوں کے ساتھ ہوتے کہ تمہاری خبریں دریافت کیا کرتے، اگر وه تم میں موجود ہوتے (تو بھی کیا؟) نہ لڑتے مگر برائے نام.
لَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا
English Translation:
Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad SAW) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much.
اردو ترجمہ:
یقیناً تمہارے لئے رسول اللہ میں عمده نمونہ (موجود) ہے ، ہر اس شخص کے لئے جو اللہ تعالیٰ کی اور قیامت کے دن کی توقع رکھتا ہے اور بکثرت اللہ تعالیٰ کی یاد کرتا ہے.
وَلَمَّا رَأَى الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْأَحْزَابَ قَالُوا هَـٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَصَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ۚ وَمَا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا إِيمَانًا وَتَسْلِيمًا
English Translation:
And when the believers saw AlAhzab (the Confederates), they said: "This is what Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW) had promised us, and Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW) had spoken the truth, and it only added to their faith and to their submissiveness (to Allah).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ایمان والوں نے جب (کفار کے) لشکروں کو دیکھا (بے ساختہ) کہہ اٹھے! کہ انہیں کا وعده ہمیں اللہ تعالیٰ نے اور اس کے رسول نے دیا تھا اور اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے رسول نے سچ فرمایا ، اور اس (چیز) نے ان کے ایمان میں اور شیوہٴ فرماں برداری میں اور اضافہ کر دیا.
مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ ۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا
English Translation:
Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah [i.e. they have gone out for Jihad (holy fighting), and showed not their backs to the disbelievers], of them some have fulfilled their obligations (i.e. have been martyred), and some of them are still waiting, but they have never changed [i.e. they never proved treacherous to their covenant which they concluded with Allah] in the least.
اردو ترجمہ:
مومنوں میں (ایسے) لوگ بھی ہیں جنہوں نے جو عہد اللہ تعالیٰ سے کیا تھا انہیں سچا کر دکھایا ، بعض نے تو اپنا عہد پورا کر دیا اور بعض (موقعہ کے) منتظر ہیں اور انہوں نے کوئی تبدیلی نہیں کی.
لِّيَجْزِيَ اللَّهُ الصَّادِقِينَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ إِن شَاءَ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
English Translation:
That Allah may reward the men of truth for their truth (i.e. for their patience at the accomplishment of that which they covenanted with Allah), and punish the hypocrites if He will or accept their repentance by turning to them in Mercy. Verily, Allah is OftForgiving, Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
تاکہ اللہ تعالیٰ سچوں کو ان کی سچائی کا بدلہ دے اور اگر چاہے تو منافقوں کو سزا دے یا ان کی توبہ قبول فرمائے ، اللہ تعالیٰ بڑا ہی بخشنے والا بہت ہی مہربان ہے.
وَرَدَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِغَيْظِهِمْ لَمْ يَنَالُوا خَيْرًا ۚ وَكَفَى اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الْقِتَالَ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيزًا
English Translation:
And Allah drove back those who disbelieved in their rage, they gained no advantage (booty, etc.). Allah sufficed for the believers in the fighting (by sending against the disbelievers a severe wind and troops of angels). And Allah is Ever AllStrong, AllMighty.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اللہ تعالیٰ نےکافروں کو غصے بھرے ہوئے ہی (نامراد) لوٹا دیا انہوں نے کوئی فائده نہیں پایا ، اور اس جنگ میں اللہ تعالیٰ خود ہی مومنوں کو کافی ہوگیا اللہ تعالیٰ بڑی قوتوں والا اور غالب ہے.
وَأَنزَلَ الَّذِينَ ظَاهَرُوهُم مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مِن صَيَاصِيهِمْ وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ فَرِيقًا تَقْتُلُونَ وَتَأْسِرُونَ فَرِيقًا
English Translation:
And those of the people of the Scripture who backed them (the disbelievers) Allah brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جن اہل کتاب نے ان سے سازباز کر لی تھی انہیں (بھی) اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کے قلعوں سے نکال دیا اور ان کے دلوں میں (بھی) رعب بھر دیا کہ تم ان کے ایک گروه کو قتل کر رہے ہو اور ایک گروه کو قیدی بنا رہے ہو.
وَأَوْرَثَكُمْ أَرْضَهُمْ وَدِيَارَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ وَأَرْضًا لَّمْ تَطَئُوهَا ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرًا
English Translation:
And He caused you to inherit their lands, and their houses, and their riches, and a land which you had not trodden (before). And Allah is Able to do all things.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اس نے تمہیں ان کی زمینوں کا اور ان کے گھر بار کا اور ان کے مال کا وارث کر دیا اور اس زمین کا بھی جس کو تمہارے قدموں نے روندا نہیں، اللہ تعالیٰ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے.
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَاجِكَ إِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا فَتَعَالَيْنَ أُمَتِّعْكُنَّ وَأُسَرِّحْكُنَّ سَرَاحًا جَمِيلًا
English Translation:
O Prophet (Muhammad SAW)! Say to your wives: If you desire the life of this world, and its glitter, Then come! I will make a provision for you and set you free in a handsome manner (divorce).
اردو ترجمہ:
اے نبی! اپنی بیویوں سے کہہ دو کہ اگر تم زندگانی دنیا اور زینت دنیا چاہتی ہو تو آؤ میں تمہیں کچھ دے دلا دوں اور تمہیں اچھائی کے ساتھ رخصت کر دوں.
وَإِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَالدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلْمُحْسِنَاتِ مِنكُنَّ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا
English Translation:
But if you desire Allah and His Messenger, and the home of the Hereafter, then verily, Allah has prepared for AlMuhsinat (gooddoers) amongst you an enormous reward.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اگر تمہاری مراد اللہ اور اس کا رسول اور آخرت کا گھر ہے تو (یقین مانو کہ) تم میں سے نیک کام کرنے والیوں کے لئے اللہ تعالیٰ نے بہت زبردست اجر رکھ چھوڑے ہیں.
يَا نِسَاءَ النَّبِيِّ مَن يَأْتِ مِنكُنَّ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ يُضَاعَفْ لَهَا الْعَذَابُ ضِعْفَيْنِ ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا
English Translation:
O wives of the Prophet! Whoever of you commits an open illegal sexual intercourse, the torment for her will be doubled, and that is ever easy for Allah.
اردو ترجمہ:
اے نبی کی بیویو! تم میں سے جو بھی کھلی بے حیائی (کا ارتکاب) کرے گی اسے دوہرا دوہرا عذاب دیا جائے گا ، اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے نزدیک یہ بہت ہی سہل (سی بات) ہے.
۞ وَمَن يَقْنُتْ مِنكُنَّ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا نُّؤْتِهَا أَجْرَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهَا رِزْقًا كَرِيمًا
English Translation:
And whosoever of you is obedient to Allah and His Messenger SAW, and does righteous good deeds, We shall give her, her reward twice over, and We have prepared for her Rizqan Karima (a noble provision Paradise).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور تم میں سے جو کوئی اللہ کی اور اس کے رسول کی فرمانبرداری کرے گی اور نیک کام کرے گی ہم اسے اجر (بھی) دوہرا دیں گے اور اس کے لئے ہم نے بہترین روزی تیار کر رکھی ہے.
يَا نِسَاءَ النَّبِيِّ لَسْتُنَّ كَأَحَدٍ مِّنَ النِّسَاءِ ۚ إِنِ اتَّقَيْتُنَّ فَلَا تَخْضَعْنَ بِالْقَوْلِ فَيَطْمَعَ الَّذِي فِي قَلْبِهِ مَرَضٌ وَقُلْنَ قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوفًا
English Translation:
O wives of the Prophet! You are not like any other women. If you keep your duty (to Allah), then be not soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease (of hypocrisy, or evil desire for adultery, etc.) should be moved with desire, but speak in an honourable manner.
اردو ترجمہ:
اے نبی کی بیویو! تم عام عورتوں کی طرح نہیں ہو ، اگر تم پرہیزگاری اختیار کرو تو نرم لہجے سے بات نہ کرو کہ جس کے دل میں روگ ہو وه کوئی برا خیال کرے اور ہاں قاعدے کے مطابق کلام کرو.
وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَأَقِمْنَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتِينَ الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِعْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا
English Translation:
And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance, and perform As-Salat (IqamatasSalat), and give Zakat and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah wishes only to remove ArRijs (evil deeds and sins, etc.) from you, O members of the family (of the Prophet SAW), and to purify you with a thorough purification.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اپنے گھروں میں قرار سے رہو اور قدیم جاہلیت کے زمانے کی طرح اپنے بناؤ کا اظہار نہ کرو اور نماز ادا کرتی رہو اور زکوٰة دیتی رہو اور اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی اطاعت گزاری کرو۔ اللہ تعالیٰ یہی چاہتا ہے کہ اے نبی کی گھر والیو! تم سے وه (ہر قسم کی) گندگی کو دور کردے اور تمہیں خوب پاک کردے.
وَاذْكُرْنَ مَا يُتْلَىٰ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَالْحِكْمَةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ لَطِيفًا خَبِيرًا
English Translation:
And remember (O you the members of the Prophet's family, the Graces of your Lord), that which is recited in your houses of the Verses of Allah and AlHikmah (i.e. Prophet's Sunnah legal ways, etc. so give your thanks to Allah and glorify His Praises for this Quran and the Sunnah). Verily, Allah is Ever Most Courteous, WellAcquainted with all things.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور تمہارے گھروں میں اللہ کی جو آیتیں اور رسول کی احادیﺚ پڑھی جاتی ہیں ان کا ذکر کرتی رہو ، یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ لطف کرنے والا خبردار ہے.
إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْقَانِتِينَ وَالْقَانِتَاتِ وَالصَّادِقِينَ وَالصَّادِقَاتِ وَالصَّابِرِينَ وَالصَّابِرَاتِ وَالْخَاشِعِينَ وَالْخَاشِعَاتِ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقَاتِ وَالصَّائِمِينَ وَالصَّائِمَاتِ وَالْحَافِظِينَ فُرُوجَهُمْ وَالْحَافِظَاتِ وَالذَّاكِرِينَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَالذَّاكِرَاتِ أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًا
English Translation:
Verily, the Muslims (those who submit to Allah in Islam) men and women, the believers men and women (who believe in Islamic Monotheism), the men and the women who are obedient (to Allah), the men and women who are truthful (in their speech and deeds), the men and the women who are patient (in performing all the duties which Allah has ordered and in abstaining from all that Allah has forbidden), the men and the women who are humble (before their Lord Allah), the men and the women who give Sadaqat (i.e. Zakat, and alms, etc.), the men and the women who observe Saum (fast) (the obligatory fasting during the month of Ramadan, and the optional Nawafil fasting), the men and the women who guard their chastity (from illegal sexual acts) and the men and the women who remember Allah much with their hearts and tongues (while sitting, standing, lying, etc. for more than 300 times extra over the remembrance of Allah during the five compulsory congregational prayers) or praying extra additional Nawafil prayers of night in the last part of night, etc.) Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise).
اردو ترجمہ:
بےشک مسلمان مرد اور مسلمان عورتیں مومن مرد اور مومن عورتیں فرماں برداری کرنے والے مرد اور فرمانبردار عورتیں راست باز مرد اور راست باز عورتیں صبر کرنے والے مرد اور صبر کرنے والی عورتیں، عاجزی کرنے والے مرد اور عاجزی کرنے والی عورتیں، خیرات کرنے والے مرد اور خیرات کرنے والی عورتیں، روزے رکھنے والے مرد اور روزے رکھنے والی عورتیں اپنی شرمگاه کی حفاظت کرنے والے مرد اور حفاظت کرنے والیاں بکثرت اللہ کا ذکر کرنے والے اور ذکر کرنے والیاں ان (سب کے) لئے اللہ تعالیٰ نے (وسیع) مغفرت اور بڑا ﺛواب تیار کر رکھا ہے.
وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ ۗ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُّبِينًا
English Translation:
It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور (دیکھو) کسی مومن مرد و عورت کو اللہ اور اس کے رسول کا فیصلہ کے بعد اپنے کسی امر کا کوئی اختیار باقی نہیں رہتا ، (یاد رکھو) اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے رسول کی جو بھی نافرمانی کرے گا وه صریح گمراہی میں پڑے گا.
وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِي أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى النَّاسَ وَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَاهُ ۖ فَلَمَّا قَضَىٰ زَيْدٌ مِّنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِي أَزْوَاجِ أَدْعِيَائِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا
English Translation:
And (remember) when you said to him (Zaid bin Harithah, the freedslave of the Prophet SAW) on whom Allah has bestowed Grace (by guiding him to Islam) and you (O Muhammad SAW too) have done favour (by manumitting him) "Keep your wife to yourself, and fear Allah." But you did hide in yourself (i.e. what Allah has already made known to you that He will give her to you in marriage) that which Allah will make manifest, you did fear the people (i.e., Muhammad SAW married the divorced wife of his manumitted slave) whereas Allah had a better right that you should fear Him. So when Zaid had accomplished his desire from her (i.e. divorced her), We gave her to you in marriage, so that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the believers in respect of (the marriage of) the wives of their adopted sons when the latter have no desire to keep them (i.e. they have divorced them). And Allah's Command must be fulfilled.
اردو ترجمہ:
(یاد کرو) جب کہ تو اس شخص سے کہہ رہا تھا جس پر اللہ نے بھی انعام کیا اور تو نے بھی کہ تو اپنی بیوی کو اپنے پاس رکھ اور اللہ سے ڈر اور تو اپنے دل میں وه بات چھپائے ہوئے تھا جسے اللہ ظاہر کرنے والا تھا اور تو لوگوں سے خوف کھاتا تھا، حالانکہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس کا زیاده حق دار تھا کہ تو اس سے ڈرے ، پس جب کہ زید نے اس عورت سے اپنی غرض پوری کرلی ہم نے اسے تیرے نکاح میں دے دیا تاکہ مسلمانوں پر اپنے لے پالکوں کی بیویوں کے بارے میں کسی طرح کی تنگی نہ رہے جب کہ وه اپنی غرض ان سے پوری کرلیں، اللہ کا (یہ) حکم تو ہو کر ہی رہنے والا تھا.
مَّا كَانَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مِنْ حَرَجٍ فِيمَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ ۖ سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ فِي الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ قَدَرًا مَّقْدُورًا
English Translation:
There is no blame on the Prophet (SAW) in that which Allah has made legal for him. That has been Allah's Way with those who have passed away of (the Prophets of) old. And the Command of Allah is a decree determined.
اردو ترجمہ:
جو چیزیں اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے نبی کے لئے مقرر کی ہیں ان میں نبی پر کوئی حرج نہیں ، (یہی) اللہ کا دستور ان میں بھی رہا جو پہلے ہوئے اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے کام اندازے پر مقرر کئے ہوئے ہیں.
الَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَالَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلَّا اللَّهَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ حَسِيبًا
English Translation:
Those who convey the Message of Allah and fear Him, and fear none save Allah. And Sufficient is Allah as a Reckoner.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ سب ایسے تھے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے احکام پہنچایا کرتے تھے اور اللہ ہی سے ڈرتے تھے اور اللہ کے سوا کسی سے نہیں ڈرتے تھے ، اور اللہ تعالیٰ حساب لینے کے لئے کافی ہے.
مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَـٰكِن رَّسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا
English Translation:
Muhammad (SAW) is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the last (end) of the Prophets. And Allah is Ever AllAware of everything.
اردو ترجمہ:
(لوگو) تمہارے مردوں میں سے کسی کے باپ محمد ﴿صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم﴾ نہیں لیکن آپ اللہ تعالیٰ کے رسول ہیں اور تمام نبیوں کے ختم کرنے والے، اور اللہ تعالی ہر چیز کا (بخوبی) جاننے والا ہے.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيرًا
English Translation:
O you who believe! Remember Allah with much remembrance.
اردو ترجمہ:
مسلمانو! اللہ تعالیٰ کا ذکر بہت زیاده کرو.
وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا
English Translation:
And glorify His Praises morning and afternoon [the early morning (Fajr) and 'Asr prayers].
اردو ترجمہ:
اور صبح وشام اس کی پاکیزگی بیان کرو.
هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ لِيُخْرِجَكُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ ۚ وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيمًا
English Translation:
He it is Who sends Salat (His blessings) on you, and His angels too (ask Allah to bless and forgive you), that He may bring you out from darkness (of disbelief and polytheism) into light (of Belief and Islamic Monotheism). And He is Ever Most Merciful to the believers.
اردو ترجمہ:
وہی ہے جو تم پر اپنی رحمتیں بھیجتا ہے اور اس کے فرشتے (تمہارے لئے دعائے رحمت کرتے ہیں) تاکہ وه تمہیں اندھیروں سے اجالے کی طرف لے جائے اور اللہ تعالیٰ مومنوں پر بہت ہی مہربان ہے.
تَحِيَّتُهُمْ يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَهُ سَلَامٌ ۚ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَرِيمًا
English Translation:
Their greeting on the Day they shall meet Him will be "Salam: Peace (i.e. the angels will say to them: Salamu 'Alaikum)!" And He has prepared for them a generous reward (i.e. Paradise).
اردو ترجمہ:
جس دن یہ (اللہ سے) ملاقات کریں گے ان کا تحفہ سلام ہوگا ، ان کے لئے اللہ تعالیٰ نے باعزت اجر تیار کر رکھا ہے.
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ شَاهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا
English Translation:
O Prophet (MuhammadSAW)! Verily, We have sent you as witness, and a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner,
اردو ترجمہ:
اے نبی! یقیناً ہم نے ہی آپ کو (رسول بنا کر) گواہیاں دینے والا ، خوشخبریاں سنانے والا، آگاه کرنے والا بھیجا ہے.
وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى اللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَسِرَاجًا مُّنِيرًا
English Translation:
And as one who invites to Allah [Islamic Monotheism, i.e. to worship none but Allah (Alone)] by His Leave, and as a lamp spreading light (through your instructions from the Quran and the Sunnah the legal ways of the Prophet SAW).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اللہ کے حکم سے اس کی طرف بلانے والا اور روشن چراغ.
وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ فَضْلًا كَبِيرًا
English Translation:
And announce to the believers (in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger Muhammad SAW) the glad tidings, that they will have from Allah a Great Bounty.
اردو ترجمہ:
آپ مومنوں کو خوشخبری سنا دیجئے! کہ ان کے لئے اللہ کی طرف سے بہت بڑا فضل ہے.
وَلَا تُطِعِ الْكَافِرِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ وَدَعْ أَذَاهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا
English Translation:
And obey not the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and harm them not (till you are ordered). And put your trust in Allah, and Sufficient is Allah as a Wakil (Trustee, or Disposer of affairs).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور کافروں اور منافقوں کا کہنا نہ مانیئے! اور جو ایذا (ان کی طرف سے پہنچے) اس کا خیال بھی نہ کیجیئے اللہ پر بھروسہ کئے رہیں، اور کافی ہے اللہ تعالیٰ کام بنانے والا.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نَكَحْتُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ طَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ فَمَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ عِدَّةٍ تَعْتَدُّونَهَا ۖ فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ سَرَاحًا جَمِيلًا
English Translation:
O you who believe! When you marry believing women, and then divorce them before you have sexual intercourse with them, no 'Iddah [divorce prescribed period, see (V. 65:4)] have you to count in respect of them. So give them a present, and set them free i.e. divorce, in a handsome manner.
اردو ترجمہ:
اے مومنو! جب تم مومن عورتوں سے نکاح کرو پھر ہاتھ لگانے سے پہلے (ہی) طلاق دے دو تو ان پر تمہارا کوئی حق عدت کا نہیں جسے تم شمار کرو ، پس تم کچھ نہ کچھ انہیں دے دو اور بھلے طریق پر انہیں رخصت کر دو.
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَحْلَلْنَا لَكَ أَزْوَاجَكَ اللَّاتِي آتَيْتَ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ مِمَّا أَفَاءَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمِّكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمَّاتِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَالِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَالَاتِكَ اللَّاتِي هَاجَرْنَ مَعَكَ وَامْرَأَةً مُّؤْمِنَةً إِن وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ إِنْ أَرَادَ النَّبِيُّ أَن يَسْتَنكِحَهَا خَالِصَةً لَّكَ مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۗ قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا فَرَضْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِي أَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ لِكَيْلَا يَكُونَ عَلَيْكَ حَرَجٌ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
English Translation:
O Prophet (Muhammad SAW)! Verily, We have made lawful to you your wives, to whom you have paid their Mahr (bridal money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage), and those (captives or slaves) whom your right hand possesses - whom Allah has given to you, and the daughters of your 'Amm (paternal uncles) and the daughters of your 'Ammah (paternal aunts) and the daughters of your Khal (maternal uncles) and the daughters of your Khalah (maternal aunts) who migrated (from Makkah) with you, and a believing woman if she offers herself to the Prophet, and the Prophet wishes to marry her; a privilege for you only, not for the (rest of) the believers. Indeed We know what We have enjoined upon them about their wives and those (captives or slaves) whom their right hands possess, - in order that there should be no difficulty on you. And Allah is Ever OftForgiving, Most Merciful.

اے نبی! ہم نے تیرے لئے تیری وه بیویاں حلال کر دی ہیں جنہوں تو ان کا مہر دے چکا ہے اور وه لونڈیاں بھی جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے غنیمت میں تجھے دی ہیں اور تیرے چچا کی لڑکیاں اور پھوپھیوں کی بیٹیاں اور تیرے ماموں کی بیٹیاں اور تیری خالاؤں کی بیٹیاں بھی جنہوں نے تیرے ساتھ ہجرت کی ہے، اور وه باایمان عورت جو اپنا نفس نبی کو ہبہ کردے یہ اس صورت میں کہ خود نبی بھی اس سے نکاح کرنا چاہے، یہ خاص طور پر صرف تیرے لئے ہی ہے اور مومنوں کے لئے نہیں، ہم اسے بخوبی جانتے ہیں جو ہم نے ان پر ان کی بیویوں اور لونڈیوں کے بارے میں (احکام) مقرر کر رکھے ہیں، یہ اس لئے کہ تجھ پر حرج واقع نہ ہو، اللہ تعالیٰ بہت بخشنے اور بڑے رحم والا ہے.
۞ تُرْجِي مَن تَشَاءُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ ۖ وَمَنِ ابْتَغَيْتَ مِمَّنْ عَزَلْتَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَن تَقَرَّ أَعْيُنُهُنَّ وَلَا يَحْزَنَّ وَيَرْضَيْنَ بِمَا آتَيْتَهُنَّ كُلُّهُنَّ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَلِيمًا
English Translation:
You (O Muhammad SAW) can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them (your wives), and you may receive whom you will. And whomsoever you desire of those whom you have set aside (her turn temporarily), it is no sin on you (to receive her again), that is better; that they may be comforted and not grieved, and may all be pleased with what you give them. Allah knows what is in your hearts. And Allah is Ever AllKnowing, Most Forbearing.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان میں سے جسے تو چاہے دور رکھ دے اور جسے چاہے اپنے پاس رکھ لے ، اور اگر تو نے ان میں سے بھی کسی کو اپنے پاس بلالے جنہیں تو نے الگ کر رکھا تھا تو تجھ پر کوئی گناه نہیں، اس میں اس بات کی زیاده توقع ہے کہ ان عورتوں کی آنکھیں ٹھنڈی رہیں اور وه رنجیده نہ ہوں اور جو کچھ بھی تو انہیں دے دے اس پر سب کی سب راضی رہیں۔ تمہارے دلوں میں جو کچھ ہے اسے اللہ (خوب) جانتا ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ بڑا ہی علم اور حلم والا ہے.
لَّا يَحِلُّ لَكَ النِّسَاءُ مِن بَعْدُ وَلَا أَن تَبَدَّلَ بِهِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ حُسْنُهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ رَّقِيبًا
English Translation:
It is not lawful for you (to marry other) women after this, nor to change them for other wives even though their beauty attracts you, except those (captives or slaves) whom your right hand possesses. And Allah is Ever a Watcher over all things.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس کے بعد اور عورتیں آپ کے لئے حلال نہیں اور نہ یہ (درست ہے) کہ ان کے بدلے اور عورتوں سے (نکاح کرے) اگر چہ ان کی صورت اچھی بھی لگتی ہو مگر جو تیری مملوکہ ہوں۔ اور اللہ تعالیٰ ہر چیز کا (پورا) نگہبان ہے.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ النَّبِيِّ إِلَّا أَن يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ إِلَىٰ طَعَامٍ غَيْرَ نَاظِرِينَ إِنَاهُ وَلَـٰكِنْ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ فَادْخُلُوا فَإِذَا طَعِمْتُمْ فَانتَشِرُوا وَلَا مُسْتَأْنِسِينَ لِحَدِيثٍ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكُمْ كَانَ يُؤْذِي النَّبِيَّ فَيَسْتَحْيِي مِنكُمْ ۖ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ ۚ وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَاعًا فَاسْأَلُوهُنَّ مِن وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَطْهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُؤْذُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلَا أَن تَنكِحُوا أَزْوَاجَهُ مِن بَعْدِهِ أَبَدًا ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكُمْ كَانَ عِندَ اللَّهِ عَظِيمًا
English Translation:
O you who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses, except when leave is given to you for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation. But when you are invited, enter, and when you have taken your meal, disperse, without sitting for a talk. Verily, such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet, and he is shy of (asking) you (to go), but Allah is not shy of (telling you) the truth. And when you ask (his wives) for anything you want, ask them from behind a screen, that is purer for your hearts and for their hearts. And it is not (right) for you that you should annoy Allah's Messenger, nor that you should ever marry his wives after him (his death). Verily! With Allah that shall be an enormity.
اردو ترجمہ:
اے ایمان والو! جب تک تمہیں اجازت نہ دی جائے تم نبی کے گھروں میں نہ جایا کرو کھانے کے لئے ایسے وقت میں کہ اس کے پکنے کا انتظار کرتے رہو بلکہ جب بلایا جائے جاؤ اور جب کھا چکو نکل کھڑے ہو، وہیں باتوں میں مشغول نہ ہوجایا کرو۔ نبی کو تمہاری اس بات سے تکلیف ہوتی ہے۔ تو وه لحاظ کر جاتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ (بیان) حق میں کسی کا لحاظ نہیں کرتا ، جب تم نبی کی بیویوں سے کوئی چیز طلب کرو تو پردے کے پیچھے سے طلب کرو۔ تمہارے اور ان کے دلوں کے لئے کامل پاکیزگی یہی ہے، نہ تمہیں یہ جائز ہے کہ تم رسول اللہ کو تکلیف دو اور نہ تمہیں یہ حلال ہے کہ آپ کے بعد کسی وقت بھی آپ کی بیویوں سے نکاح کرو۔ (یاد رکھو) اللہ کے نزدیک یہ بہت بڑا (گناه) ہے.
إِن تُبْدُوا شَيْئًا أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا
English Translation:
Whether you reveal anything or conceal it, verily, Allah is Ever AllKnower of everything.
اردو ترجمہ:
تم کسی چیز کو ظاہر کرو یا مخفی رکھو اللہ تو ہر چیز کا بخوبی علم رکھنے والا ہے.
لَّا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِنَّ فِي آبَائِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَائِهِنَّ وَلَا إِخْوَانِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَاءِ إِخْوَانِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَاءِ أَخَوَاتِهِنَّ وَلَا نِسَائِهِنَّ وَلَا مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُنَّ ۗ وَاتَّقِينَ اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدًا
English Translation:
It is no sin on them (the Prophet's wives, if they appear unveiled) before their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their brother's sons, or the sons of their sisters, or their own (believing) women, or their (female) slaves, and keep your duty to Allah. Verily, Allah is Ever AllWitness over everything.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان عورتوں پر کوئی گناه نہیں کہ وه اپنے باپوں اور اپنے بیٹوں اور بھائیوں اور بھتیجوں اور بھانجوں اور اپنی (میل جول کی) عورتوں اور ملکیت کے ماتحتوں (لونڈی، غلام) کے سامنے ہوں ۔ (عورتو!) اللہ سے ڈرتی رہو۔ اللہ تعالیٰ یقیناً ہر چیز پر شاہد ہے.
إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا
English Translation:
Allah sends His Salat (Graces, Honours, Blessings, Mercy, etc.) on the Prophet (Muhammad SAW) and also His angels too (ask Allah to bless and forgive him). O you who believe! Send your Salat on (ask Allah to bless) him (Muhammad SAW), and (you should) greet (salute) him with the Islamic way of greeting (salutation i.e. AsSalamu 'Alaikum).
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے فرشتے اس نبی پر رحمت بھیجتے ہیں۔ اے ایمان والو! تم (بھی) ان پر درود بھیجو اور خوب سلام (بھی) بھیجتے رہا کرو.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا
English Translation:
Verily, those who annoy Allah and His Messenger (SAW) Allah has cursed them in this world, and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating torment.
اردو ترجمہ:
جو لوگ اللہ اور اس کے رسول کو ایذا دیتے ہیں ان پر دنیا اور آخرت میں اللہ کی پھٹکار ہے اور ان کے لئے نہایت رسوا کن عذاب ہے.
وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ بِغَيْرِ مَا اكْتَسَبُوا فَقَدِ احْتَمَلُوا بُهْتَانًا وَإِثْمًا مُّبِينًا
English Translation:
And those who annoy believing men and women undeservedly, bear on themselves the crime of slander and plain sin.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جو لوگ مومن مردوں اور مومن عورتوں کو ایذا دیں بغیر کسی جرم کے جو ان سے سرزد ہوا ہو، وه (بڑے ہی) بہتان اور صریح گناه کا بوجھ اٹھاتے ہیں.
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَن يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
English Translation:
O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever OftForgiving, Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
اے نبی! اپنی بیویوں سے اور اپنی صاحبزادیوں سے اور مسلمانوں کی عورتیں سے کہہ دو کہ وه اپنے اوپر اپنی چادریں لٹکا لیا کریں ، اس سے بہت جلد ان کی شناخت ہو جایا کرے گی پھر نہ ستائی جائیں گی، اور اللہ تعالیٰ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے.
۞ لَّئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ وَالْمُرْجِفُونَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ لَنُغْرِيَنَّكَ بِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَا يُجَاوِرُونَكَ فِيهَا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
English Translation:
If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for adultery, etc.), and those who spread false news among the people in AlMadinah, cease not, We shall certainly let you overpower them, then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbours but a little while.
اردو ترجمہ:
اگر (اب بھی) یہ منافق اور وه جن کے دلوں میں بیماری ہے اور وه لوگ جو مدینہ میں غلط افواہیں اڑانے والے ہیں باز نہ آئے تو ہم آپ کو ان (کی تباہی) پر مسلط کردیں گے پھر تو وه چند دن ہی آپ کے ساتھ اس (شہر) میں ره سکیں گے.
مَّلْعُونِينَ ۖ أَيْنَمَا ثُقِفُوا أُخِذُوا وَقُتِّلُوا تَقْتِيلًا
English Translation:
Accursed, wherever found, they shall be seized and killed with a (terrible) slaughter.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان پر پھٹکار برسائی گئی، جہاں بھی مل جائیں پکڑے جائیں اور خوب ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کردیئے جائیں.
سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ فِي الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا
English Translation:
That was the Way of Allah in the case of those who passed away of old, and you will not find any change in the Way of Allah.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان سے اگلوں میں بھی اللہ کا یہی دستور جاری رہا۔ اور تو اللہ کے دستور میں ہرگز ردوبدل نہ پائے گا.
يَسْأَلُكَ النَّاسُ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ تَكُونُ قَرِيبًا
English Translation:
People ask you concerning the Hour, say: "The knowledge of it is with Allah only. What do you know? It may be that the Hour is near!"
اردو ترجمہ:
لوگ آپ سے قیامت کے بارے میں سوال کرتے ہیں۔ آپ کہہ دیجیئے! کہ اس کا علم تو اللہ ہی کو ہے، آپ کو کیا خبر بہت ممکن ہے قیامت بالکل ہی قریب ہو.
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَعَنَ الْكَافِرِينَ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ سَعِيرًا
English Translation:
Verily, Allah has cursed the disbelievers, and has prepared for them a flaming Fire (Hell).
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ نے کافروں پر لعنت کی ہے اور ان کے لئے بھڑکتی ہوئی آگ تیار کر رکھی ہے.
خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۖ لَّا يَجِدُونَ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا
English Translation:
Wherein they will abide for ever, and they will find neither a Wali (a protector) nor a helper.
اردو ترجمہ:
جس میں وه ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے۔ وه کوئی حامی ومددگار نہ پائیں گے.
يَوْمَ تُقَلَّبُ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِي النَّارِ يَقُولُونَ يَا لَيْتَنَا أَطَعْنَا اللَّهَ وَأَطَعْنَا الرَّسُولَا
English Translation:
On the Day when their faces will be turned over in the Fire, they will say: "Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger (Muhammad SAW)."
اردو ترجمہ:
اس دن ان کے چہرے آگ میں الٹ پلٹ کئے جائیں گے۔ (حسرت وافسوس سے) کہیں گے کہ کاش ہم اللہ تعالیٰ اور رسول کی اطاعت کرتے.
وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّا أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَاءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا السَّبِيلَا
English Translation:
And they will say: "Our Lord! Verily, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us from the (Right) Way.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور کہیں گے اے ہمارے رب! ہم نے اپنے سرداروں اور اپنے بڑوں کی مانی جنہوں نے ہمیں راه راست سے بھٹکا دیا.
رَبَّنَا آتِهِمْ ضِعْفَيْنِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ وَالْعَنْهُمْ لَعْنًا كَبِيرًا
English Translation:
Our Lord! give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse!"
اردو ترجمہ:
پروردگار تو انہیں دگنا عذاب دے اور ان پر بہت بڑی لعنت نازل فرما.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ آذَوْا مُوسَىٰ فَبَرَّأَهُ اللَّهُ مِمَّا قَالُوا ۚ وَكَانَ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَجِيهًا
English Translation:
O you who believe! Be not like those who annoyed Musa (Moses), but Allah cleared him of that which they alleged, and he was honourable before Allah.
اردو ترجمہ:
اے ایمان والو! ان لوگوں جیسے نہ بن جاؤ جنہوں نے موسیٰ کو تکلیف دی پس جو بات انہوں نے کہی تھی اللہ نے انہیں اس سے بری فرما دیا ، اور وه اللہ کے نزدیک باعزت تھے.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا
English Translation:
O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth.
اردو ترجمہ:
اے ایمان والو! اللہ تعالیٰ سے ڈرو اور سیدھی سیدھی (سچی) باتیں کیا کرو.
يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَمَن يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا
English Translation:
He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins. And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (SAW) he has indeed achieved a great achievement (i.e. he will be saved from the Hell-fire and made to enter Paradise).
اردو ترجمہ:
تاکہ اللہ تعالیٰ تمہارے کام سنوار دے اور تمہارے گناه معاف فرما دے ، اور جو بھی اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی تابعداری کرے گا اس نے بڑی مراد پالی.
إِنَّا عَرَضْنَا الْأَمَانَةَ عَلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالْجِبَالِ فَأَبَيْنَ أَن يَحْمِلْنَهَا وَأَشْفَقْنَ مِنْهَا وَحَمَلَهَا الْإِنسَانُ ۖ إِنَّهُ كَانَ ظَلُومًا جَهُولًا
English Translation:
Truly, We did offer AlAmanah (the trust or moral responsibility or honesty and all the duties which Allah has ordained) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they declined to bear it and were afraid of it (i.e. afraid of Allah's Torment). But man bore it. Verily, he was unjust (to himself) and ignorant (of its results).
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم نے اپنی امانت کو آسمانوں پر زمین پر اور پہاڑوں پر پیش کیا لیکن سب نے اس کے اٹھانے سے انکار کردیا اور اس سے ڈر گئے (مگر) انسان نے اسے اٹھا لیا ، وه بڑا ہی ظالم جاہل ہے.
لِّيُعَذِّبَ اللَّهُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ وَالْمُشْرِكَاتِ وَيَتُوبَ اللَّهُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
English Translation:
So that Allah will punish the hypocrites, men and women, and the men and women who are AlMushrikun (the polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messenger Muhammad SAW). And Allah will pardon (accept the repentance of) the true believers of the Islamic Monotheism, men and women. And Allah is Ever OftForgiving, Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
(یہ اس لئے) کہ اللہ تعالیٰ منافق مردوں عورتوں اور مشرک مردوں عورتوں کو سزا دے اور مومن مردوں عورتوں کی توبہ قبول فرمائے ، اور اللہ تعالیٰ بڑا ہی بخشنے والا اور مہربان ہے.
