An-Nahl - النحل (Surah 16)
128 Verses • Meccan Revelation
أَتَىٰ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
English Translation:
The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islamic laws or commandments), ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ کا حکم آپہنچا، اب اس کی جلدی نہ مچاؤ ۔ تمام پاکی اس کے لیے ہے وه برتر ہے ان سب سے جنہیں یہ اللہ کے نزدیک شریک بتلاتے ہیں.
يُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ بِالرُّوحِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ أَنْ أَنذِرُوا أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاتَّقُونِ
English Translation:
He sends down the angels with inspiration of His Command to whom of His slaves He pleases (saying): "Warn mankind that La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so fear Me (by abstaining from sins and evil deeds).
اردو ترجمہ:
وہی فرشتوں کو اپنی وحی دے کر اپنے حکم سے اپنے بندوں میں سے جس پر چاہتا ہے اتارتا ہے کہ تم لوگوں کو آگاه کر دو کہ میرے سوا اور کوئی معبود نہیں، پس تم مجھ سے ڈرو.
خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ تَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
English Translation:
He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all they associate as partners with Him.
اردو ترجمہ:
اسی نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو حق کے ساتھ پیدا کیا وه اس سے بری ہے جو مشرک کرتے ہیں.
خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ
English Translation:
He has created man from Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge), then behold, this same (man) becomes an open opponent.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس نے انسان کو نطفے سے پیدا کیا پھر وه صریح جھگڑالو بن بیٹھا.
وَالْأَنْعَامَ خَلَقَهَا ۗ لَكُمْ فِيهَا دِفْءٌ وَمَنَافِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ
English Translation:
And the cattle, He has created them for you; in them there is warmth (warm clothing), and numerous benefits, and of them you eat.
اردو ترجمہ:
اسی نے چوپائے پیدا کیے جن میں تمہارے لیے گرمی کے لباس ہیں اور بھی بہت سے نفع ہیں اور بعض تمہارے کھانے کے کام آتے ہیں.
وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسْرَحُونَ
English Translation:
And wherein is beauty for you, when you bring them home in the evening, and as you lead them forth to pasture in the morning.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ان میں تمہاری رونق بھی ہے جب چرا کر لاؤ تب بھی اور جب چرانے لے جاؤ تب بھی.
وَتَحْمِلُ أَثْقَالَكُمْ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍ لَّمْ تَكُونُوا بَالِغِيهِ إِلَّا بِشِقِّ الْأَنفُسِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ
English Translation:
And they carry your loads to a land that you could not reach except with great trouble to yourselves. Truly, your Lord is full of Kindness, Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور وه تمہارے بوجھ ان شہروں تک اٹھالے جاتے ہیں جہاں تم بغیر آدھی جان کیے پہنچ ہی نہیں سکتے تھے۔ یقیناً تمہارا رب بڑا ہی شفیق اور نہایت مہربان ہے.
وَالْخَيْلَ وَالْبِغَالَ وَالْحَمِيرَ لِتَرْكَبُوهَا وَزِينَةً ۚ وَيَخْلُقُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride and as an adornment. And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge.
اردو ترجمہ:
گھوڑوں کو، خچروں کو، گدھوں کو اس نے پیدا کیا کہ تم ان کی سواری لو اور وه باعﺚ زینت بھی ہیں ۔ اور بھی وه ایسی بہت چیزیں پیدا کرتا ہے جن کا تمہیں علم بھی نہیں.
وَعَلَى اللَّهِ قَصْدُ السَّبِيلِ وَمِنْهَا جَائِرٌ ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَهَدَاكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
English Translation:
And upon Allah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path (i.e. Islamic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things, etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction), but there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اللہ پر سیدھی راه کا بتا دینا ہے اور بعض ٹیڑھی راہیں ہیں، اور اگر وه چاہتا تو تم سب کو راه راست پر لگا دیتا.
هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً ۖ لَّكُم مِّنْهُ شَرَابٌ وَمِنْهُ شَجَرٌ فِيهِ تُسِيمُونَ
English Translation:
He it is Who sends down water (rain) from the sky; from it you drink and from it (grows) the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture;
اردو ترجمہ:
وہی تمہارے فائدے کے لیے آسمان سے پانی برساتا ہے جسے تم پیتے بھی ہو اور اسی سے اگے ہوئے درختوں کو تم اپنے جانوروں کو چراتے ہو.
يُنبِتُ لَكُم بِهِ الزَّرْعَ وَالزَّيْتُونَ وَالنَّخِيلَ وَالْأَعْنَابَ وَمِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
English Translation:
With it He causes to grow for you the crops, the olives, the date-palms, the grapes, and every kind of fruit. Verily! In this is indeed an evident proof and a manifest sign for people who give thought.
اردو ترجمہ:
اسی سے وه تمہارے لیے کھیتی اور زیتون اور کھجور اور انگور اور ہر قسم کے پھل اگاتا ہے بےشک ان لوگوں کے لیے تو اس میں بڑی نشانی ہے جو غوروفکر کرتے ہیں.
وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ وَالنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَاتٌ بِأَمْرِهِ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
English Translation:
And He has subjected to you the night and the day, the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected by His Command. Surely, in this are proofs for people who understand.
اردو ترجمہ:
اسی نے رات دن اور سورج چاند کو تمہارے لیے تابع کر دیا ہے اور ستارے بھی اسی کے حکم کے ماتحت ہیں۔ یقیناًاس میں عقلمند لوگوں کے لیے کئی ایک نشانیاں موجود ہیں.
وَمَا ذَرَأَ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهُ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
English Translation:
And whatsoever He has created for you on this earth of varying colours [and qualities from vegetation and fruits, etc. (botanical life) and from animal (zoological life)]. Verily! In this is a sign for people who remember.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور بھی بہت سی چیزیں طرح طرح کے رنگ روپ کی اس نے تمہارے لیے زمین پر پھیلا رکھی ہیں۔ بیشک نصیحت قبول کرنے والوں کے لیے اس میں بڑی بھاری نشانی ہے.
وَهُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُوا مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
English Translation:
And He it is Who has subjected the sea (to you), that you eat thereof fresh tender meat (i.e. fish), and that you bring forth out of it ornaments to wear. And you see the ships ploughing through it, that you may seek (thus) of His Bounty (by transporting the goods from place to place) and that you may be grateful.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور دریا بھی اسی نے تمہارے بس میں کر دیے ہیں کہ تم اس میں سے (نکلا ہوا) تازه گوشت کھاؤ اور اس میں سے اپنے پہننے کے زیورات نکال سکو اور تم دیکھتے ہو کہ کشتیاں اس میں پانی چیرتی ہوئی (چلتی) ہیں اور اس لیے بھی کہ تم اس کا فضل تلاش کرو اور ہوسکتا ہے کہ تم شکر گزاری بھی کرو.
وَأَلْقَىٰ فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَأَنْهَارًا وَسُبُلًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
English Translation:
And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you, and rivers and roads, that you may guide yourselves.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اس نے زمین میں پہاڑ گاڑ دیے ہیں تاکہ تمہیں لے کر ہلے نہ ، اور نہریں اور راہیں بنا دیں تاکہ تم منزل مقصود کو پہنچو.
وَعَلَامَاتٍ ۚ وَبِالنَّجْمِ هُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ
English Translation:
And landmarks (signposts, etc. during the day) and by the stars (during the night), they (mankind) guide themselves.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور بھی بہت سی نشانیاں مقرر فرمائیں۔ اور ستاروں سے بھی لوگ راه حاصل کرتے ہیں.
أَفَمَن يَخْلُقُ كَمَن لَّا يَخْلُقُ ۗ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
English Translation:
Is then He, Who creates as one who creates not? Will you not then remember?
اردو ترجمہ:
تو کیا وه جو پیدا کرتا ہے اس جیسا ہے جو پیدا نہیں کرسکتا؟ کیا تم بالکل نہیں سوچتے؟
وَإِن تَعُدُّوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
English Translation:
And if you would count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اگر تم اللہ کی نعمتوں کا شمار کرنا چاہو تو تم اسے نہیں کر سکتے۔ بیشک اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے.
وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ
English Translation:
And Allah knows what you conceal and what you reveal.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جو کچھ تم چھپاؤ اور ظاہر کرو اللہ تعالیٰ سب کچھ جانتا ہے.
وَالَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ لَا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئًا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ
English Translation:
Those whom they (Al-Mushrikun) invoke besides Allah have not created anything, but are themselves created.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جن جن کو یہ لوگ اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا پکارتے ہیں وه کسی چیز کو پیدا نہیں کرسکتے، بلکہ وه خود پیدا کیے ہوئے ہیں.
أَمْوَاتٌ غَيْرُ أَحْيَاءٍ ۖ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ
English Translation:
(They are) dead, lifeless, and they know not when they will be raised up.
اردو ترجمہ:
مردے ہیں زنده نہیں ، انہیں تو یہ بھی شعور نہیں کہ کب اٹھائے جائیں گے.
إِلَـٰهُكُمْ إِلَـٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۚ فَالَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مُّنكِرَةٌ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ
English Translation:
Your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God Allah, none has the right to be worshipped but He). But for those who believe not in the Hereafter, their hearts deny (the faith in the Oneness of Allah), and they are proud.
اردو ترجمہ:
تم سب کا معبود صرف اللہ تعالیٰ اکیلا ہے اور آخرت پر ایمان نہ رکھنے والوں کے دل منکر ہیں اور وه خود تکبر سے بھرے ہوئے ہیں.
لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ ۚ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ
English Translation:
Certainly, Allah knows what they conceal and what they reveal. Truly, He likes not the proud.
اردو ترجمہ:
بےشک وشبہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہر اس چیز کو، جسے وه لوگ چھپاتے ہیں اور جسے ظاہر کرتے ہیں، بخوبی جانتا ہے۔ وه غرور کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں فرماتا.
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُم مَّاذَا أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ ۙ قَالُوا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
English Translation:
And when it is said to them: "What is it that your Lord has sent down (unto Muhammad SAW)?" They say: "Tales of the men of old!"
اردو ترجمہ:
ان سے جب دریافت کیا جاتا ہے کہ تمہارے پروردگار نے کیا نازل فرمایا ہے؟ تو جواب دیتے ہیں کہ اگلوں کی کہانیاں ہیں.
لِيَحْمِلُوا أَوْزَارَهُمْ كَامِلَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۙ وَمِنْ أَوْزَارِ الَّذِينَ يُضِلُّونَهُم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ أَلَا سَاءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ
English Translation:
They will bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection, and also of the burdens of those whom they misled without knowledge. Evil indeed is that which they shall bear!
اردو ترجمہ:
اسی کا نتیجہ ہوگا کہ قیامت کے دن یہ لوگ اپنے پورے بوجھ کے ساتھ ہی ان کے بوجھ کے بھی حصے دار ہوں گے جنہیں بے علمی سے گمراه کرتے رہے۔ دیکھو تو کیسا برا بوجھ اٹھا رہے ہیں.
قَدْ مَكَرَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَى اللَّهُ بُنْيَانَهُم مِّنَ الْقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّقْفُ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَأَتَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
English Translation:
Those before them indeed plotted, but Allah struck at the foundation of their building, and then the roof fell down upon them, from above them, and the torment overtook them from directions they did not perceive.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان سے پہلے کے لوگوں نے بھی مکر کیا تھا، (آخر) اللہ نے (ان کے منصوبوں) کی عمارتوں کو جڑوں سے اکھیڑ دیا اور ان (کے سروں) پر (ان کی) چھتیں اوپر سے گر پڑیں ، اور ان کے پاس عذاب وہاں سے آگیا جہاں کا انہیں وہم وگمان بھی نہ تھا.
ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُخْزِيهِمْ وَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تُشَاقُّونَ فِيهِمْ ۚ قَالَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ إِنَّ الْخِزْيَ الْيَوْمَ وَالسُّوءَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
English Translation:
Then, on the Day of Resurrection, He will disgrace them and will say: "Where are My (so called) 'partners' concerning whom you used to disagree and dispute (with the believers, by defying and disobeying Allah)?" Those who have been given the knowledge (about the Torment of Allah for the disbelievers) will say: "Verily! Disgrace this Day and misery are upon the disbelievers.
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر قیامت والے دن بھی اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں رسوا کرے گا اور فرمائے گا کہ میرے وه شریک کہاں ہیں جن کے بارے میں تم لڑتے جھگڑتے تھے ، جنہیں علم دیا گیا تھا وه پکار اٹھیں گے کہ آج تو کافروں کو رسوائی اور برائی چمٹ گئی.
الَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنفُسِهِمْ ۖ فَأَلْقَوُا السَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ مِن سُوءٍ ۚ بَلَىٰ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
English Translation:
"Those whose lives the angels take while they are doing wrong to themselves (by disbelief and by associating partners in worship with Allah and by committing all kinds of crimes and evil deeds)." Then, they will make (false) submission (saying): "We used not to do any evil." (The angels will reply): "Yes! Truly, Allah is All-Knower of what you used to do.
اردو ترجمہ:
وه جو اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے ہیں، فرشتے جب ان کی جان قبض کرنے لگتے ہیں اس وقت وه جھک جاتے ہیں کہ ہم برائی نہیں کرتے تھے ۔ کیوں نہیں؟ اللہ تعالیٰ خوب جاننے والا ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے تھے.
فَادْخُلُوا أَبْوَابَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ فَلَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
English Translation:
"So enter the gates of Hell, to abide therein, and indeed, what an evil abode will be for the arrogant."
اردو ترجمہ:
پس اب تو ہمیشگی کے طور پر تم جہنم کے دروازوں میں داخل ہو جاؤ ، پس کیا ہی برا ٹھکانا ہے غرور کرنے والوں کا.
۞ وَقِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا مَاذَا أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ ۚ قَالُوا خَيْرًا ۗ لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا فِي هَـٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ ۚ وَلَدَارُ الْآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ ۚ وَلَنِعْمَ دَارُ الْمُتَّقِينَ
English Translation:
And (when) it is said to those who are the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) "What is it that your Lord has sent down?" They say: "That which is good." For those who do good in this world, there is good, and the home of the Hereafter will be better. And excellent indeed will be the home (i.e. Paradise) of the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور پرہیز گاروں سے پوچھا جاتا ہے کہ تمہارے پروردگار نے کیا نازل فرمایا ہے؟ تو وه جواب دیتے ہیں کہ اچھے سے اچھا۔ جن لوگوں نے بھلائی کی ان کے لیے اس دنیا میں بھلائی ہے، اور یقیناً آخرت کا گھر تو بہت ہی بہتر ہے، اور کیا ہی خوب پرہیز گاروں کا گھر ہے.
جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۖ لَهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَاءُونَ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَجْزِي اللَّهُ الْمُتَّقِينَ
English Translation:
'Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity) which they will enter, under which rivers flow, they will have therein all that they wish. Thus Allah rewards the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2).
اردو ترجمہ:
ہمیشگی والے باغات جہاں وه جائیں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہیں، جو کچھ یہ طلب کریں گے وہاں ان کے لیے موجود ہوگا۔ پرہیز گاروں کو اللہ تعالیٰ اسی طرح بدلے عطا فرماتا ہے.
الَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ طَيِّبِينَ ۙ يَقُولُونَ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
English Translation:
Those whose lives the angels take while they are in a pious state (i.e. pure from all evil, and worshipping none but Allah Alone) saying (to them): Salamun 'Alaikum (peace be on you) enter you Paradise, because of (the good) which you used to do (in the world)."
اردو ترجمہ:
وه جن کی جانیں فرشتے اس حال میں قبض کرتے ہیں کہ وه پاک صاف ہوں کہتے ہیں کہ تمہارے لیے سلامتی ہی سلامتی ہے ، جاؤ جنت میں اپنے ان اعمال کے بدلے جو تم کرتے تھے.
هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا أَن تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ فَعَلَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
English Translation:
Do they (the disbelievers and polytheists) await but that the angels should come to them [to take away their souls (at death)], or there should come the command (i.e. the torment or the Day of Resurrection) of your Lord? Thus did those before them. And Allah wronged them not, but they used to wrong themselves.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا یہ اسی بات کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں کہ ان کے پاس فرشتے آجائیں یا تیرے رب کا حکم آجائے ؟ ایسا ہی ان لوگوں نے بھی کیا تھا جو ان سے پہلے تھے۔ ان پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے کوئی ظلم نہیں کیا بلکہ وه خود اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے رہے.
فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
English Translation:
Then, the evil results of their deeds overtook them, and that at which they used to mock surrounded them.
اردو ترجمہ:
پس ان کے برے اعمال کے نتیجے انہیں مل گئے اور جس کی ہنسی اڑاتے تھے اس نے ان کو گھیر لیا.
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا لَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا عَبَدْنَا مِن دُونِهِ مِن شَيْءٍ نَّحْنُ وَلَا آبَاؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمْنَا مِن دُونِهِ مِن شَيْءٍ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ فَعَلَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ فَهَلْ عَلَى الرُّسُلِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ
English Translation:
And those who join others in worship with Allah say: "If Allah had so willed, neither we nor our fathers would have worshipped aught but Him, nor would we have forbidden anything without (Command from) Him." So did those before them. Then! Are the Messengers charged with anything but to convey clearly the Message?
اردو ترجمہ:
مشرک لوگوں نے کہا کہ اگر اللہ تعالیٰ چاہتا تو ہم اور ہمارے باپ دادے اس کے سوا کسی اور کی عبادت ہی نہ کرتے، نہ اس کے فرمان کے بغیر کسی چیز کو حرام کرتے۔ یہی فعل ان سے پہلے کے لوگوں کا رہا۔ تو رسولوں پر تو صرف کھلم کھلا پیغام کا پہنچا دینا ہے.
وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولًا أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ هَدَى اللَّهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الضَّلَالَةُ ۚ فَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ
English Translation:
And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): "Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghut (all false deities, etc.i. e. do not worship Taghut besides Allah)." Then of them were some whom Allah guided and of them were some upon whom the straying was justified. So travel through the land and see what was the end of those who denied (the truth).
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم نے ہر امت میں رسول بھیجا کہ (لوگو!) صرف اللہ کی عبادت کرو اور اس کے سوا تمام معبودوں سے بچو۔ پس بعض لوگوں کو تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہدایت دی اور بعض پر گمراہی ﺛابت ہوگئی ، پس تم خود زمین میں چل پھر کر دیکھ لو کہ جھٹلانے والوں کا انجام کیسا کچھ ہوا؟
إِن تَحْرِصْ عَلَىٰ هُدَاهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي مَن يُضِلُّ ۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ
English Translation:
If you (O Muhammad SAW) covet for their guidance, then verily Allah guides not those whom He makes to go astray (or none can guide him whom Allah sends astray). And they will have no helpers.
اردو ترجمہ:
گو آپ ان کی ہدایت کے خواہش مند رہے ہیں لیکن اللہ تعالیٰ اسے ہدایت نہیں دیتا جسے گمراه کر دے اور نہ ان کا کوئی مددگار ہوتا ہے.
وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ ۙ لَا يَبْعَثُ اللَّهُ مَن يَمُوتُ ۚ بَلَىٰ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths, that Allah will not raise up him who dies. Yes, (He will raise them up), a promise (binding) upon Him in truth, but most of mankind know not.
اردو ترجمہ:
وه لوگ بڑی سخت سخت قسمیں کھا کھا کر کہتے ہیں کہ مردوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ زنده نہیں کرے گا ۔ کیوں نہیں ضرور زنده کرے گا یہ تو اس کا برحق لازمی وعده ہے، لیکن اکثر لوگ جانتے نہیں.
لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمُ الَّذِي يَخْتَلِفُونَ فِيهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا كَاذِبِينَ
English Translation:
In order that He may make manifest to them the truth of that wherein they differ, and that those who disbelieved (in Resurrection, and in the Oneness of Allah) may know that they were liars.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس لیے بھی کہ یہ لوگ جس چیز میں اختلاف کرتے تھے اسے اللہ تعالیٰ صاف بیان کر دے اور اس لیے بھی کہ خود کافر اپنا جھوٹا ہونا جان لیں.
إِنَّمَا قَوْلُنَا لِشَيْءٍ إِذَا أَرَدْنَاهُ أَن نَّقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ
English Translation:
Verily! Our Word unto a thing when We intend it, is only that We say unto it: "Be!" and it is.
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم جب کسی چیز کا اراده کرتے ہیں تو صرف ہمارا یہ کہہ دینا ہوتا ہے کہ ہوجا، پس وه ہوجاتی ہے.
وَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا فِي اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً ۖ وَلَأَجْرُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
And as for those who emigrated for the Cause of Allah, after suffering oppression, We will certainly give them goodly residence in this world, but indeed the reward of the Hereafter will be greater, if they but knew!
اردو ترجمہ:
جن لوگوں نے ظلم برداشت کرنے کے بعد اللہ کی راه میں ترک وطن کیا ہے ہم انہیں بہتر سے بہتر ٹھکانا دنیا میں عطا فرمائیں گے اور آخرت کا ﺛواب تو بہت ہی بڑا ہے، کاش کہ لوگ اس سے واقف ہوتے.
الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
English Translation:
(They are) those who remained patient (in this world for Allah's sake), and put their trust in their Lord (Allah Alone).
اردو ترجمہ:
وه جنہوں نے دامن صبر نہ چھوڑا اور اپنے پالنے والے ہی پر بھروسہ کرتے رہے.
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
And We sent not (as Our Messengers) before you (O Muhammad SAW) any but men, whom We inspired, (to preach and invite mankind to believe in the Oneness of Allah). So ask of those who know the Scripture [learned men of the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], if you know not.
اردو ترجمہ:
آپ سے پہلے بھی ہم مَردوں کو ہی بھیجتے رہے، جن کی جانب وحی اتارا کرتے تھے پس اگر تم نہیں جانتے تو اہل علم سے دریافت کر لو.
بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالزُّبُرِ ۗ وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
English Translation:
With clear signs and Books (We sent the Messengers). And We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad SAW) the reminder and the advice (the Quran), that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them, and that they may give thought.
اردو ترجمہ:
دلیلوں اور کتابوں کے ساتھ، یہ ذکر (کتاب) ہم نے آپ کی طرف اتارا ہے کہ لوگوں کی جانب جو نازل فرمایا گیا ہے آپ اسے کھول کھول کر بیان کر دیں، شاید کہ وه غور وفکر کریں.
أَفَأَمِنَ الَّذِينَ مَكَرُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ أَن يَخْسِفَ اللَّهُ بِهِمُ الْأَرْضَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
English Translation:
Do then those who devise evil plots feel secure that Allah will not sink them into the earth, or that the torment will not seize them from directions they perceive not?
اردو ترجمہ:
بدترین داؤ پیچ کرنے والے کیا اس بات سے بے خوف ہوگئے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں زمین میں دھنسا دے یا ان کے پاس ایسی جگہ سے عذاب آجائے جہاں کا انہیں وہم وگمان بھی نہ ہو.
أَوْ يَأْخُذَهُمْ فِي تَقَلُّبِهِمْ فَمَا هُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ
English Translation:
Or that He may catch them in the midst of their going to and fro (in their jobs), so that there be no escape for them (from Allah's Punishment)?
اردو ترجمہ:
یا انہیں چلتے پھرتے پکڑ لے یہ کسی صورت میں اللہ تعالیٰ کو عاجز نہیں کر سکتے.
أَوْ يَأْخُذَهُمْ عَلَىٰ تَخَوُّفٍ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ
English Translation:
Or that He may catch them with gradual wasting (of their wealth and health). Truly! Your Lord is indeed full of Kindness, Most Merciful?
اردو ترجمہ:
یا انہیں ڈرا دھمکا کر پکڑ لے ، پس یقیناً تمہارا پروردگار اعلیٰ شفقت اور انتہائی رحم والا ہے.
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَىٰ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ مِن شَيْءٍ يَتَفَيَّأُ ظِلَالُهُ عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَالشَّمَائِلِ سُجَّدًا لِّلَّهِ وَهُمْ دَاخِرُونَ
English Translation:
Have they not observed things that Allah has created, (how) their shadows incline to the right and to the left, making prostration unto Allah, and they are lowly?
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا انہوں نے اللہ کی مخلوق میں سے کسی کو بھی نہیں دیکھا؟ کہ اس کے سائے دائیں بائیں جھک جھک کر اللہ تعالیٰ کے سامنے سر بسجود ہوتے اور عاجزی کا اظہار کرتے ہیں.
وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مِن دَابَّةٍ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
English Translation:
And to Allah prostate all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, of the live moving creatures and the angels, and they are not proud [i.e. they worship their Lord (Allah) with humility].
اردو ترجمہ:
یقیناً آسمان وزمین کے کل جاندار اور تمام فرشتے اللہ تعالیٰ کے سامنے سجدے کرتے ہیں اور ذرا بھی تکبر نہیں کرتے.(1)
يَخَافُونَ رَبَّهُم مِّن فَوْقِهِمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ ۩
English Translation:
They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اپنے رب سے جو ان کے اوپر ہے، کپکپاتے رہتے ہیں اور جو حکم مل جائے اس کی تعمیل کرتے ہیں.
۞ وَقَالَ اللَّهُ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا إِلَـٰهَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ ۖ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَـٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ فَإِيَّايَ فَارْهَبُونِ
English Translation:
And Allah said (O mankind!): "Take not ilahain (two gods in worship, etc.). Verily, He (Allah) is (the) only One Ilah (God). Then, fear Me (Allah) much [and Me (Alone), i.e. be away from all kinds of sins and evil deeds that Allah has forbidden and do all that Allah has ordained and worship none but Allah].
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ ارشاد فرما چکا ہے کہ دو معبود نہ بناؤ۔ معبود تو صرف وہی اکیلا ہے ، پس تم سب صرف میرا ہی ڈر خوف رکھو.
وَلَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ الدِّينُ وَاصِبًا ۚ أَفَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ تَتَّقُونَ
English Translation:
To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and (all that is in) the earth and Ad-Din Wasiba is His [(i.e. perpetual sincere obedience to Allah is obligatory). None has the right to be worshipped but Allah)]. Will you then fear any other than Allah?
اردو ترجمہ:
آسمانوں میں اور زمین میں جو کچھ ہے سب اسی کا ہے اور اسی کی عبادت لازم ہے ، کیا پھر تم اس کے سوا اوروں سے ڈرتے ہو؟
وَمَا بِكُم مِّن نِّعْمَةٍ فَمِنَ اللَّهِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِذَا مَسَّكُمُ الضُّرُّ فَإِلَيْهِ تَجْأَرُونَ
English Translation:
And whatever of blessings and good things you have, it is from Allah. Then, when harm touches you, unto Him you cry aloud for help.
اردو ترجمہ:
تمہارے پاس جتنی بھی نعمتیں ہیں سب اسی کی دی ہوئی ہیں ، اب بھی جب تمہیں کوئی مصیبت پیش آجائے تو اسی کی طرف نالہ وفریاد کرتے ہو.
ثُمَّ إِذَا كَشَفَ الضُّرَّ عَنكُمْ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنكُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يُشْرِكُونَ
English Translation:
Then, when He has removed the harm from you, behold! Some of you associate others in worship with their Lord (Allah).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جہاں اس نے وه مصیبت تم سے دفع کر دی تم میں سے کچھ لوگ اپنے رب کے ساتھ شرک کرنے لگ جاتے ہیں.
لِيَكْفُرُوا بِمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ ۚ فَتَمَتَّعُوا ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
So (as a result of that) they deny (with ungratefulness) that (Allah's Favours) which We have bestowed on them! Then enjoy yourselves (your short stay), but you will come to know (with regrets).
اردو ترجمہ:
کہ ہماری دی ہوئی نعمتوں کی ناشکری کریں ۔ اچھا کچھ فائده اٹھالو آخر کار تمہیں معلوم ہو ہی جائے گ.
وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ نَصِيبًا مِّمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ ۗ تَاللَّهِ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمْ تَفْتَرُونَ
English Translation:
And they assign a portion of that which We have provided them unto what they know not (false deities). By Allah, you shall certainly be questioned about (all) that you used to fabricate.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جسے جانتے بوجھتے بھی نہیں اس کا حصہ ہماری دی ہوئی روزی میں سے مقرر کرتے ہیں ، واللہ تمہارے اس بہتان کا سوال تم سے ضرور ہی کیا جائے گا.
وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ الْبَنَاتِ سُبْحَانَهُ ۙ وَلَهُم مَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
English Translation:
And they assign daughters unto Allah! Glorified (and Exalted) be He above all that they associate with Him!. And unto themselves what they desire;
اردو ترجمہ:
اور وه اللہ سبحانہ وتعالیٰ کے لیے لڑکیاں مقرر کرتے ہیں اور اپنے لیے وه جو اپنی خواہش کے مطابق ہو.
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِالْأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
English Translation:
And when the news of (the birth of) a female (child) is brought to any of them, his face becomes dark, and he is filled with inward grief!
اردو ترجمہ:
ان میں سے جب کسی کو لڑکی ہونے کی خبر دی جائے تو اس کا چہره سیاه ہو جاتا ہے اور دل ہی دل میں گھٹنے لگتا ہے.
يَتَوَارَىٰ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ مِن سُوءِ مَا بُشِّرَ بِهِ ۚ أَيُمْسِكُهُ عَلَىٰ هُونٍ أَمْ يَدُسُّهُ فِي التُّرَابِ ۗ أَلَا سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ
English Translation:
He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with dishonour or bury her in the earth? Certainly, evil is their decision.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس بری خبر کی وجہ سے لوگوں سے چھپا چھپا پھرتا ہے۔ سوچتا ہے کہ کیا اس کو ذلت کے ساتھ لئے ہوئے ہی رہے یا اسے مٹی میں دبا دے، آه! کیا ہی برے فیصلے کرتے ہیں؟
لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ مَثَلُ السَّوْءِ ۖ وَلِلَّهِ الْمَثَلُ الْأَعْلَىٰ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
English Translation:
For those who believe not in the Hereafter is an evil description, and for Allah is the highest description. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
اردو ترجمہ:
آخرت پر ایمان نہ رکھنے والوں کی ہی بری مثال ہے ، اللہ کے لیے تو بہت ہی بلند صفت ہے، وه بڑا ہی غالب اور باحکمت ہے.
وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِن دَابَّةٍ وَلَـٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ
English Translation:
And if Allah were to seize mankind for their wrong-doing, He would not leave on it (the earth) a single moving (living) creature, but He postpones them for an appointed term and when their term comes, neither can they delay nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment).
اردو ترجمہ:
اگر لوگوں کے گناه پر اللہ تعالیٰ ان کی گرفت کرتا تو روئے زمین پر ایک بھی جاندار باقی نہ رہتا ، لیکن وه تو انہیں ایک وقت مقرر تک ڈھیل دیتا ہے، جب ان کا وه وقت آجاتا ہے تو وه ایک ساعت نہ پیچھے ره سکتے ہیں اور نہ آگے بڑھ سکتے ہیں.
وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ مَا يَكْرَهُونَ وَتَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُهُمُ الْكَذِبَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ الْحُسْنَىٰ ۖ لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ النَّارَ وَأَنَّهُم مُّفْرَطُونَ
English Translation:
They assign to Allah that which they dislike (for themselves), and their tongues assert the falsehood that the better things will be theirs. No doubt for them is the Fire, and they will be the first to be hastened on into it, and left there neglected. (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 10, Page 121)
اردو ترجمہ:
اور وه اپنے لیے جو ناپسند رکھتے ہیں اللہ کے لیے ﺛابت کرتے ہیں اور ان کی زبانیں جھوٹی باتیں بیان کرتی ہیں کہ ان کے لیے خوبی ہے۔ نہیں نہیں، دراصل ان کے لیے آگ ہے اور یہ دوزخیوں کے پیش رو ہیں.
تَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَىٰ أُمَمٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
English Translation:
By Allah, We indeed sent (Messengers) to the nations before you (O Muhammad SAW), but Shaitan (Satan) made their deeds fair-seeming to them. So he (Satan) is their Wali (helper) today (i.e. in this world), and theirs will be a painful torment.
اردو ترجمہ:
واللہ! ہم نے تجھ سے پہلے کی امتوں کی طرف بھی اپنے رسول بھیجے لیکن شیطان نے ان کے اعمال بد ان کی نگاہوں میں آراستہ کر دیئے ، وه شیطان آج بھی ان کا رفیق بنا ہوا ہے اور ان کے لیے درد ناک عذاب ہے.
وَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا لِتُبَيِّنَ لَهُمُ الَّذِي اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ ۙ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
English Translation:
And We have not sent down the Book (the Quran) to you (O Muhammad SAW), except that you may explain clearly unto them those things in which they differ, and (as) a guidance and a mercy for a folk who believe.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس کتاب کو ہم نے آپ پر اس لیے اتارا ہے کہ آپ ان کے لیے ہر اس چیز کو واضح کر دیں جس میں وه اختلاف کر رہے ہیں اور یہ ایمان والوں کے لیے رہنمائی اور رحمت ہے.
وَاللَّهُ أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ
English Translation:
And Allah sends down water (rain) from the sky, then He revives the earth therewith after its death. Verily, in this is a sign (clear proof) for people who listen (obey Allah).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اللہ آسمان سے پانی برسا کر اس سے زمین کو اس کی موت کے بعد زنده کر دیتا ہے۔ یقیناً اس میں ان لوگوں کے لیے نشانی ہے جو سنیں.
وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَنْعَامِ لَعِبْرَةً ۖ نُّسْقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِي بُطُونِهِ مِن بَيْنِ فَرْثٍ وَدَمٍ لَّبَنًا خَالِصًا سَائِغًا لِّلشَّارِبِينَ
English Translation:
And verily! In the cattle, there is a lesson for you. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, from between excretions and blood, pure milk; palatable to the drinkers.
اردو ترجمہ:
تمہارے لیے تو چوپایوں میں بھی بڑی عبرت ہے کہ ہم تمہیں اس کے پیٹ میں جو کچھ ہے اسی میں سے گوبر اور لہو کے درمیان سے خالص دودھ پلاتے ہیں جو پینے والوں کے لیے سہتا پچتا ہے.
وَمِن ثَمَرَاتِ النَّخِيلِ وَالْأَعْنَابِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنْهُ سَكَرًا وَرِزْقًا حَسَنًا ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
English Translation:
And from the fruits of date-palms and grapes, you derive strong drink (this was before the order of the prohibition of the alcoholic drinks) and a goodly provision. Verily, therein is indeed a sign for people who have wisdom.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور کھجور اور انگور کے درختوں کے پھلوں سے تم شراب بنا لیتے ہو اور عمده روزی بھی۔ جو لوگ عقل رکھتے ہیں ان کے لیے تو اس میں بہت بڑی نشانی ہے.
وَأَوْحَىٰ رَبُّكَ إِلَى النَّحْلِ أَنِ اتَّخِذِي مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا وَمِنَ الشَّجَرِ وَمِمَّا يَعْرِشُونَ
English Translation:
And your Lord inspired the bee, saying: "Take you habitations in the mountains and in the trees and in what they erect.
اردو ترجمہ:
آپ کے رب نے شہد کی مکھی کے دل میں یہ بات ڈال دی کہ پہاڑوں میں درختوں اور لوگوں کی بنائی ہوئی اونچی اونچی ٹٹیوں میں اپنے گھر (چھتے) بنا.
ثُمَّ كُلِي مِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ فَاسْلُكِي سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلًا ۚ يَخْرُجُ مِن بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ فِيهِ شِفَاءٌ لِّلنَّاسِ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
English Translation:
"Then, eat of all fruits, and follow the ways of your Lord made easy (for you)." There comes forth from their bellies, a drink of varying colour wherein is healing for men. Verily, in this is indeed a sign for people who think.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ہر طرح کے میوے کھا اور اپنے رب کی آسان راہوں میں چلتی پھرتی ره، ان کے پیٹ سے رنگ برنگ کا مشروب نکلتا ہے ، جس کے رنگ مختلف ہیں اور جس میں لوگوں کے لیے شفا ہے غوروفکر کرنے والوں کے لیے اس میں بھی بہت بڑی نشانی ہے.
وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ ۚ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰ أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ لِكَيْ لَا يَعْلَمَ بَعْدَ عِلْمٍ شَيْئًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ
English Translation:
And Allah has created you and then He will cause you to die, and of you there are some who are sent back to senility, so that they know nothing after having known (much). Truly! Allah is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہی تم سب کو پیدا کیا ہے وہی پھر تمہیں فوت کرے گا، تم میں ایسے بھی ہیں جو بدترین عمر کی طرف لوٹائے جاتے ہیں کہ بہت کچھ جاننے بوجھنے کے بعد بھی نہ جانیں۔ بیشک اللہ دانا اور توانا ہے
وَاللَّهُ فَضَّلَ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فِي الرِّزْقِ ۚ فَمَا الَّذِينَ فُضِّلُوا بِرَادِّي رِزْقِهِمْ عَلَىٰ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِيهِ سَوَاءٌ ۚ أَفَبِنِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ
English Translation:
And Allah has preferred some of you above others in wealth and properties. Then, those who are preferred will by no means hand over their wealth and properties to those (slaves) whom their right hands possess, so that they may be equal with them in respect thereof. Do they then deny the Favour of Allah?
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ ہی نے تم میں سے ایک کو دوسرے پر روزی میں زیادتی دے رکھی ہے، پس جنہیں زیادتی دی گئی ہے وه اپنی روزی اپنے ماتحت غلاموں کو نہیں دیتے کہ وه اور یہ اس میں برابر ہو جائیں ، تو کیا یہ لوگ اللہ کی نعمتوں کے منکر ہو رہے ہیں؟
وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَزْوَاجِكُم بَنِينَ وَحَفَدَةً وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ ۚ أَفَبِالْبَاطِلِ يُؤْمِنُونَ وَبِنِعْمَتِ اللَّهِ هُمْ يَكْفُرُونَ
English Translation:
And Allah has made for you wives of your own kind, and has made for you, from your wives, sons and grandsons, and has bestowed on you good provision. Do they then believe in false deities and deny the Favour of Allah (by not worshipping Allah Alone).
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہارے لیے تم میں سے ہی تمہاری بیویاں پیدا کیں اور تمہاری بیویوں سے تمہارے لیے تمہارے بیٹے اور پوتے پیدا کیے اور تمہیں اچھی اچھی چیزیں کھانے کو دیں۔ کیا پھر بھی لوگ باطل پر ایمان لائیں گے ؟ اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی نعمتوں کی ناشکری کریں گے؟
وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَمْلِكُ لَهُمْ رِزْقًا مِّنَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
English Translation:
And they worship others besides Allah, such as do not and cannot own any provision for them from the heavens or the earth.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور وه اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا ان کی عبادت کرتے ہیں جو آسمانوں اور زمین سے انہیں کچھ بھی تو روزی نہیں دے سکتے اور نہ کچھ قدرت رکھتے ہیں.(1)
فَلَا تَضْرِبُوا لِلَّهِ الْأَمْثَالَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
So put not forward similitudes for Allah (as there is nothing similar to Him, nor He resembles anything). Truly! Allah knows and you know not.
اردو ترجمہ:
پس اللہ تعالیٰ کے لیے مثالیں مت بناؤ اللہ تعالیٰ خوب جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتے.
۞ ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا عَبْدًا مَّمْلُوكًا لَّا يَقْدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ وَمَن رَّزَقْنَاهُ مِنَّا رِزْقًا حَسَنًا فَهُوَ يُنفِقُ مِنْهُ سِرًّا وَجَهْرًا ۖ هَلْ يَسْتَوُونَ ۚ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
Allah puts forward the example (of two men a believer and a disbeliever); a slave (disbeliever) under the possession of another, he has no power of any sort, and (the other), a man (believer) on whom We have bestowed a good provision from Us, and He spends thereof secretly and openly. Can they be equal? (By no means, not). All the praises and thanks be to Allah. Nay! (But) most of them know not.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ ایک مثال بیان فرماتا ہے کہ ایک غلام ہے دوسرے کی ملکیت کا، جو کسی بات کا اختیار نہیں رکھتا اور ایک اور شخص ہے جسے ہم نے اپنے پاس سے معقول روزی دے رکھی ہے، جس میں سے وه چھپے کھلے خرچ کرتا ہے۔ کیا یہ سب برابر ہوسکتے ہیں ؟ اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کے لیے سب تعریف ہے، بلکہ ان میں سے اکثر نہیں جانتے.
وَضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا رَّجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَبْكَمُ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَىٰ مَوْلَاهُ أَيْنَمَا يُوَجِّههُّ لَا يَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ ۖ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي هُوَ وَمَن يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ ۙ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
English Translation:
And Allah puts forward (another) example of two men, one of them dumb, who has no power over anything (disbeliever), and he is a burden to his master, whichever way he directs him, he brings no good. Is such a man equal to one (believer in the Islamic Monotheism) who commands justice, and is himself on a Straight Path?
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ ایک اور مثال بیان فرماتا ہے ، دو شخصوں کی، جن میں سے ایک تو گونگا ہے اور کسی چیز پر اختیار نہیں رکھتا بلکہ وه اپنے مالک پر بوجھ ہے کہیں بھی اسے بھیجے وه کوئی بھلائی نہیں لاتا، کیا یہ اور وه جو عدل کا حکم دیتا ہے اور ہے بھی سیدھی راه پر، برابر ہوسکتے ہیں؟
وَلِلَّهِ غَيْبُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَا أَمْرُ السَّاعَةِ إِلَّا كَلَمْحِ الْبَصَرِ أَوْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
English Translation:
And to Allah belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth. And the matter of the Hour is not but as a twinkling of the eye, or even nearer. Truly! Allah is Able to do all things.
اردو ترجمہ:
آسمانوں اور زمین کا غیب صرف اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کو معلوم ہے ۔ اور قیامت کا امر تو ایسا ہی ہے جیسے آنکھ کا جھپکنا، بلکہ اس سے بھی زیاده قریب۔ بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے.
وَاللَّهُ أَخْرَجَكُم مِّن بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ ۙ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
English Translation:
And Allah has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers while you know nothing. And He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts that you might give thanks (to Allah).
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہیں تمہاری ماؤں کے پیٹوں سے نکالا ہے کہ اس وقت تم کچھ بھی نہیں جانتے تھے ، اسی نے تمہارے کان اور آنکھیں اور دل بنائے کہ تم شکر گزاری کرو.
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى الطَّيْرِ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ فِي جَوِّ السَّمَاءِ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
English Translation:
Do they not see the birds held (flying) in the midst of the sky? None holds them but Allah [none gave them the ability to fly but Allah]. Verily, in this are clear proofs and signs for people who believe (in the Oneness of Allah).
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا ان لوگوں نے پرندوں کو نہیں دیکھا جو تابع فرمان ہو کر فضا میں ہیں، جنہیں بجز اللہ تعالیٰ کے کوئی اور تھامے ہوئے نہیں ، بیشک اس میں ایمان لانے والے لوگوں کے لیے بڑی نشانیاں ہیں.
وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّن بُيُوتِكُمْ سَكَنًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّن جُلُودِ الْأَنْعَامِ بُيُوتًا تَسْتَخِفُّونَهَا يَوْمَ ظَعْنِكُمْ وَيَوْمَ إِقَامَتِكُمْ ۙ وَمِنْ أَصْوَافِهَا وَأَوْبَارِهَا وَأَشْعَارِهَا أَثَاثًا وَمَتَاعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
English Translation:
And Allah has made for you in your homes an abode, and made for you out of the hides of the cattle (tents for) dwelling, which you find so light (and handy) when you travel and when you stay (in your travels), and of their wool, fur, and hair (sheep wool, camel fur, and goat hair), a furnishing and articles of convenience (e.g. carpets, blankets, etc.), a comfort for a while.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہارے لیے تمہارے گھروں میں سکونت کی جگہ بنا دی ہے اور اسی نے تمہارے لیے چوپایوں کی کھالوں کے گھر بنا دیے ہیں، جنہیں تم ہلکا پھلکا پاتے ہو اپنے کوچ کے دن اور اپنے ٹھہرنے کے دن بھی ، اور ان کی اون اور روؤں اور بالوں سے بھی اس نے بہت سے سامان اور ایک وقت مقرره تک کے لیے فائده کی چیزیں بنائیں.
وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَالًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ الْجِبَالِ أَكْنَانًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ سَرَابِيلَ تَقِيكُمُ الْحَرَّ وَسَرَابِيلَ تَقِيكُم بَأْسَكُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْلِمُونَ
English Translation:
And Allah has made for you out of that which He has created shades, and has made for you places of refuge in the mountains, and has made for you garments to protect you from the heat (and cold), and coats of mail to protect you from your (mutual) violence. Thus does He perfect His Grace unto you, that you may submit yourselves to His Will (in Islam).
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ ہی نے تمہارے لیے اپنی پیدا کرده چیزوں میں سے سائے بنائے ہیں اور اسی نے تمہارے لیے پہاڑوں میں غار بنائے ہیں اور اسی نے تمہارے لیے کرتے بنائے ہیں جو تمہیں گرمی سے بچائیں اور ایسے کرتے بھی جو تمہیں لڑائی کے وقت کام آئیں۔ وه اسی طرح اپنی پوری پوری نعمتیں دے رہا ہے کہ تم حکم بردار بن جاؤ.
فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ
English Translation:
Then, if they turn away, your duty (O Muhammad SAW) is only to convey (the Message) in a clear way.
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر بھی اگر یہ منھ موڑے رہیں تو آپ پر صرف کھول کر تبلیﻎ کر دینا ہی ہے.
يَعْرِفُونَ نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنكِرُونَهَا وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ
English Translation:
They recognise the Grace of Allah, yet they deny it (by worshipping others besides Allah) and most of them are disbelievers (deny the Prophethood of Muhammad SAW).
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ اللہ کی نعمتیں جانتے پہچانتے ہوئے بھی ان کے منکر ہو رہے ہیں، بلکہ ان میں سے اکثر ناشکرے ہیں.
وَيَوْمَ نَبْعَثُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا ثُمَّ لَا يُؤْذَنُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ
English Translation:
And (remember) the Day when We shall raise up from each nation a witness (their Messenger), then, those who have disbelieved will not be given leave (to put forward excuses), nor will they be allowed (to return to the world) to repent and ask for Allah's Forgiveness (of their sins, etc.).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جس دن ہم ہر امت میں سے گواه کھڑا کریں گے پھر کافروں کو نہ اجازت دی جائے گی اور نہ ان سے توبہ کرنے کو کہا جائے گا.
وَإِذَا رَأَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا الْعَذَابَ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ
English Translation:
And when those who did wrong (the disbelievers) will see the torment, then it will not be lightened unto them, nor will they be given respite.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جب یہ ظالم عذاب دیکھ لیں گے پھر نہ تو ان سے ہلکا کیا جائے گا اور نہ وه ڈھیل دیے جائیں گے.
وَإِذَا رَأَى الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا شُرَكَاءَهُمْ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا هَـٰؤُلَاءِ شُرَكَاؤُنَا الَّذِينَ كُنَّا نَدْعُو مِن دُونِكَ ۖ فَأَلْقَوْا إِلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلَ إِنَّكُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ
English Translation:
And when those who associated partners with Allah see their (Allah's so-called) partners, they will say: "Our Lord! These are our partners whom we used to invoke besides you." But they will throw back their word at them (and say): "Surely! You indeed are liars!"
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جب مشرکین اپنے شریکوں کو دیکھ لیں گے تو کہیں گے اے ہمارے پروردگار! یہی ہمارے وه شریک ہیں جنہیں ہم تجھے چھوڑ کر پکارا کرتے تھے، پس وه انہیں جواب دیں گے کہ تم بالکل ہی جھوٹے ہو.
وَأَلْقَوْا إِلَى اللَّهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ السَّلَمَ ۖ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ
English Translation:
And they will offer (their full) submission to Allah (Alone) on that Day, and their invented false deities [all that they used to invoke besides Allah, e.g. idols, saints, priests, monks, angels, jinns, Jibrael (Gabriel), Messengers, etc.] will vanish from them.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس دن وه سب (عاجز ہوکر) اللہ کے سامنے اطاعت کا اقرار پیش کریں گے اور جو بہتان بازی کیا کرتے تھے وه سب ان سے گم ہو جائے گی.
الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ زِدْنَاهُمْ عَذَابًا فَوْقَ الْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوا يُفْسِدُونَ
English Translation:
Those who disbelieved and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, for them We will add torment over the torment; because they used to spread corruption [by disobeying Allah themselves, as well as ordering others (mankind) to do so].
اردو ترجمہ:
جنہوں نے کفر کیا اور اللہ کی راه سے روکا ہم انہیں عذاب پر عذاب بڑھاتے جائیں گے ، یہ بدلہ ہوگا ان کی فتنہ پردازیوں کا.
وَيَوْمَ نَبْعَثُ فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا عَلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ ۖ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ شَهِيدًا عَلَىٰ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ ۚ وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ تِبْيَانًا لِّكُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ
English Translation:
And (remember) the Day when We shall raise up from every nation a witness against them from amongst themselves. And We shall bring you (O Muhammad SAW) as a witness against these. And We have sent down to you the Book (the Quran) as an exposition of everything, a guidance, a mercy, and glad tidings for those who have submitted themselves (to Allah as Muslims).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جس دن ہم ہر امت میں انہی میں سے ان کے مقابلے پر گواه کھڑا کریں گے اور تجھے ان سب پر گواه بنا کر لائیں گے اور ہم نے تجھ پر یہ کتاب نازل فرمائی ہے جس میں ہر چیز کا شافی بیان ہے، اور ہدایت اور رحمت اور خوشخبری ہے مسلمانوں کے لیے.
۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَيَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ ۚ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
English Translation:
Verily, Allah enjoins Al-Adl (i.e. justice and worshipping none but Allah Alone - Islamic Monotheism) and Al-Ihsan [i.e. to be patient in performing your duties to Allah, totally for Allah's sake and in accordance with the Sunnah (legal ways) of the Prophet SAW in a perfect manner], and giving (help) to kith and kin (i.e. all that Allah has ordered you to give them e.g., wealth, visiting, looking after them, or any other kind of help, etc.): and forbids Al-Fahsha' (i.e. all evil deeds, e.g. illegal sexual acts, disobedience of parents, polytheism, to tell lies, to give false witness, to kill a life without right, etc.), and Al-Munkar (i.e. all that is prohibited by Islamic law: polytheism of every kind, disbelief and every kind of evil deeds, etc.), and Al-Baghy (i.e. all kinds of oppression), He admonishes you, that you may take heed.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ عدل کا، بھلائی کا اور قرابت داروں کے ساتھ سلوک کرنے کا حکم دیتا ہے اور بےحیائی کے کاموں، ناشائستہ حرکتوں اور ظلم وزیادتی سے روکتا ہے ، وه خود تمہیں نصیحتیں کر رہا ہے کہ تم نصیحت حاصل کرو.
وَأَوْفُوا بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ إِذَا عَاهَدتُّمْ وَلَا تَنقُضُوا الْأَيْمَانَ بَعْدَ تَوْكِيدِهَا وَقَدْ جَعَلْتُمُ اللَّهَ عَلَيْكُمْ كَفِيلًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
English Translation:
And fulfill the Covenant of Allah (Bai'a: pledge for Islam) when you have covenanted, and break not the oaths after you have confirmed them, and indeed you have appointed Allah your surety. Verily! Allah knows what you do.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اللہ کے عہد کو پورا کرو جب کہ تم آپس میں قول وقرار کرو اور قسموں کو ان کی پختگی کے بعد مت توڑو، حالانکہ تم اللہ تعالیٰ کو اپنا ضامن ٹھہرا چکے ہو ، تم جو کچھ کرتے ہو اللہ اس کو بخوبی جان رہا ہے.
وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّتِي نَقَضَتْ غَزْلَهَا مِن بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ أَنكَاثًا تَتَّخِذُونَ أَيْمَانَكُمْ دَخَلًا بَيْنَكُمْ أَن تَكُونَ أُمَّةٌ هِيَ أَرْبَىٰ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ ۚ إِنَّمَا يَبْلُوكُمُ اللَّهُ بِهِ ۚ وَلَيُبَيِّنَنَّ لَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ
English Translation:
And be not like her who undoes the thread which she has spun after it has become strong, by taking your oaths a means of deception among yourselves, lest a nation may be more numerous than another nation. Allah only tests you by this [i.e. who obeys Allah and fulfills Allah's Covenant and who disobeys Allah and breaks Allah's Covenant]. And on the Day of Resurrection, He will certainly make clear to you that wherein you used to differ [i.e. a believer confesses and believes in the Oneness of Allah and in the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad SAW which the disbeliever denies it and that was their difference amongst them in the life of this world].
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اس عورت کی طرح نہ ہو جاؤ جس نے اپنا سوت مضبوط کاتنے کے بعد ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کرکے توڑ ڈالا ، کہ تم اپنی قسموں کو آپس کے مکر کا باعﺚ ٹھراؤ، اس لیے کہ ایک گروه دوسرے گروه سے بڑھا چڑھا ہوجائے۔ بات صرف یہی ہے کہ اس عہد سے اللہ تمہیں آزما رہا ہے۔ یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ تمہارے لیے قیامت کے دن ہر اس چیز کو کھول کر بیان کر دے گا جس میں تم اختلاف کر رہے تھے.
وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَـٰكِن يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَلَتُسْأَلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
English Translation:
And had Allah willed, He could have made you (all) one nation, but He sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. But you shall certainly be called to account for what you used to do.
اردو ترجمہ:
اگر اللہ چاہتا تم سب کو ایک ہی گروه بنا دیتا لیکن وه جسے چاہے گمراه کرتا ہے اور جسے چاہے ہدایت دیتا ہے، یقیناً تم جو کچھ کر رہے ہو اس کے بارے میں باز پرس کی جانے والی ہے.
وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا أَيْمَانَكُمْ دَخَلًا بَيْنَكُمْ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمٌ بَعْدَ ثُبُوتِهَا وَتَذُوقُوا السُّوءَ بِمَا صَدَدتُّمْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَلَكُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
English Translation:
And make not your oaths, a means of deception among yourselves, lest a foot may slip after being firmly planted, and you may have to taste the evil (punishment in this world) of having hindered (men) from the Path of Allah (i.e. Belief in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger, Muhammad SAW), and yours will be a great torment (i.e. the Fire of Hell in the Hereafter).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور تم اپنی قسموں کو آپس کی دغابازی کا بہانہ نہ بناؤ۔ پھر تو تمہارے قدم اپنی مضبوطی کے بعد ڈگمگا جائیں گے اور تمہیں سخت سزا برداشت کرنا پڑے گی کیونکہ تم نے اللہ کی راه سے روک دیا اور تمہیں بڑا سخت عذاب ہوگا.
وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّمَا عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
And purchase not a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant. Verily! What is with Allah is better for you if you did but know.
اردو ترجمہ:
تم اللہ کے عہد کو تھوڑے مول کے بدلے نہ بیچ دیا کرو۔ یاد رکھو اللہ کے پاس کی چیز ہی تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے بشرطیکہ تم میں علم ہو.
مَا عِندَكُمْ يَنفَدُ ۖ وَمَا عِندَ اللَّهِ بَاقٍ ۗ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
English Translation:
Whatever is with you, will be exhausted, and whatever with Allah (of good deeds) will remain. And those who are patient, We will certainly pay them a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do.
اردو ترجمہ:
تمہارے پاس جو کچھ ہے سب فانی ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے پاس جو کچھ ہے باقی ہے۔ اور صبر کرنے والوں کو ہم بھلے اعمال کا بہترین بدلہ ضرور عطا فرمائیں گے.
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
English Translation:
Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter).
اردو ترجمہ:
جو شخص نیک عمل کرے مرد ہو یا عورت، لیکن باایمان ہو تو ہم اسے یقیناً نہایت بہتر زندگی عطا فرمائیں گے ۔ اور ان کے نیک اعمال کا بہتر بدلہ بھی انہیں ضرور ضرور دیں گے.
فَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
English Translation:
So when you want to recite the Quran, seek refuge with Allah from Shaitan (Satan), the outcast (the cursed one).
اردو ترجمہ:
قرآن پڑھنے کے وقت راندے ہوئے شیطان سے اللہ کی پناه طلب کرو.
إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ سُلْطَانٌ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
English Translation:
Verily! He has no power over those who believe and put their trust only in their Lord (Allah).
اردو ترجمہ:
ایمان والوں اور اپنے پروردگار پر بھروسہ رکھنے والوں پر اس کا زور مطلقاً نہیں چلتا.
إِنَّمَا سُلْطَانُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُ وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِهِ مُشْرِكُونَ
English Translation:
His power is only over those who obey and follow him (Satan), and those who join partners with Him (Allah) [i.e. those who are Mushrikun - polytheists - see Verse 6:121].
اردو ترجمہ:
ہاں اس کا غلبہ ان پر تو یقیناً ہے جو اسی سے رفاقت کریں اور اسے اللہ کا شریک ٹھہرائیں.
وَإِذَا بَدَّلْنَا آيَةً مَّكَانَ آيَةٍ ۙ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُنَزِّلُ قَالُوا إِنَّمَا أَنتَ مُفْتَرٍ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
And when We change a Verse [of the Quran, i.e. cancel (abrogate) its order] in place of another, and Allah knows the best of what He sends down, they (the disbelievers) say: "You (O Muhammad SAW) are but a Muftari! (forger, liar)." Nay, but most of them know not.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جب ہم کسی آیت کی جگہ دوسری آیت بدل دیتے ہیں اور جو کچھ اللہ تعالیٰ نازل فرماتا ہے اسے وه خوب جانتا ہے تو یہ کہتے ہیں کہ تو تو بہتان باز ہے۔ بات یہ ہے کہ ان میں سے اکثر جانتے ہی نہیں.
قُلْ نَزَّلَهُ رُوحُ الْقُدُسِ مِن رَّبِّكَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيُثَبِّتَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ
English Translation:
Say (O Muhammad SAW) Ruh-ul-Qudus [Jibrael (Gabriel)] has brought it (the Quran) down from your Lord with truth, that it may make firm and strengthen (the Faith of) those who believe and as a guidance and glad tidings to those who have submitted (to Allah as Muslims).
اردو ترجمہ:
کہہ دیجئے کہ اسے آپ کے رب کی طرف سے جبرائیل حق کے ساتھ لے کر آئے ہیں تاکہ ایمان والوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ استقامت عطا فرمائے اور مسلمانوں کی رہنمائی اور بشارت ہو جائے.
وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّمَا يُعَلِّمُهُ بَشَرٌ ۗ لِّسَانُ الَّذِي يُلْحِدُونَ إِلَيْهِ أَعْجَمِيٌّ وَهَـٰذَا لِسَانٌ عَرَبِيٌّ مُّبِينٌ
English Translation:
And indeed We know that they (polytheists and pagans) say: "It is only a human being who teaches him (Muhammad SAW)." The tongue of the man they refer to is foreign, while this (the Quran) is a clear Arabic tongue.
اردو ترجمہ:
ہمیں بخوبی علم ہے کہ یہ کافر کہتے ہیں کہ اسے تو ایک آدمی سکھاتا ہے اس کی زبان جس کی طرف یہ نسبت کر رہے ہیں عجمی ہے اور یہ قرآن تو صاف عربی زبان میں ہے.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ لَا يَهْدِيهِمُ اللَّهُ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
English Translation:
Verily! Those who believe not in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, Allah will not guide them and theirs will be a painful torment.
اردو ترجمہ:
جو لوگ اللہ تعالیٰ کی آیتوں پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے انہیں اللہ کی طرف سے بھی رہنمائی نہیں ہوتی اور ان کے لیے المناک عذاب ہیں.
إِنَّمَا يَفْتَرِي الْكَذِبَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ
English Translation:
It is only those who believe not in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, who fabricate falsehood, and it is they who are liars.
اردو ترجمہ:
جھوٹ افترا تو وہی باندھتے ہیں جنہیں اللہ تعالیٰ کی آیتوں پر ایمان نہیں ہوتا۔ یہی لوگ جھوٹے ہیں.
مَن كَفَرَ بِاللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ إِيمَانِهِ إِلَّا مَنْ أُكْرِهَ وَقَلْبُهُ مُطْمَئِنٌّ بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَـٰكِن مَّن شَرَحَ بِالْكُفْرِ صَدْرًا فَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
English Translation:
Whoever disbelieved in Allah after his belief, except him who is forced thereto and whose heart is at rest with Faith but such as open their breasts to disbelief, on them is wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a great torment.
اردو ترجمہ:
جو شخص اپنے ایمان کے بعد اللہ سے کفر کرے بجز اس کے جس پر جبر کیا جائے اور اس کا دل ایمان پر برقرار ہو ، مگر جو لوگ کھلے دل سے کفر کریں تو ان پر اللہ کا غضب ہے اور انہی کے لیے بہت بڑا عذاب ہے.
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ اسْتَحَبُّوا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الْآخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ
English Translation:
That is because they loved and preferred the life of this world over that of the Hereafter. And Allah guides not the people who disbelieve.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ اس لیے کہ انہوں نے دنیا کی زندگی کو آخرت سے زیاده محبوب رکھا۔ یقیناً اللہ تعالیٰ کافر لوگوں کو راه راست نہیں دکھاتا.
أُولَـٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْغَافِلُونَ
English Translation:
They are those upon whose hearts, hearing (ears) and sight (eyes) Allah has set a seal. And they are the heedless!
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ وه لوگ ہیں جن کے دلوں پر اور جن کے کانوں پر اور جن کی آنکھوں پر اللہ نے مہر لگا دی ہے اور یہی لوگ غافل ہیں.
لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ
English Translation:
No doubt, in the Hereafter, they will be the losers.
اردو ترجمہ:
کچھ شک نہیں کہ یہی لوگ آخرت میں سخت نقصان اٹھانے والے ہیں.
ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا مِن بَعْدِ مَا فُتِنُوا ثُمَّ جَاهَدُوا وَصَبَرُوا إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِن بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
English Translation:
Then, verily! Your Lord for those who emigrated after they had been put to trials and thereafter strove hard and fought (for the Cause of Allah) and were patient, verily, your Lord afterward is, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
جن لوگوں نے فتنوں میں ڈالے جانے کے بعد ہجرت کی پھر جہاد کیا اور صبر کا ﺛبوت دیا بیشک تیرا پروردگار ان باتوں کے بعد انہیں بخشنے والا اور مہربانیاں کرنے والا ہے.
۞ يَوْمَ تَأْتِي كُلُّ نَفْسٍ تُجَادِلُ عَن نَّفْسِهَا وَتُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
English Translation:
(Remember) the Day when every person will come up pleading for himself, and every one will be paid in full for what he did (good or evil, belief or disbelief in the life of this world) and they will not be dealt with unjustly.
اردو ترجمہ:
جس دن ہر شخص اپنی ذات کے لیے لڑتا جھگڑتا آئے اور ہر شخص کو اس کے کیے ہوئے اعمال کا پورا بدلہ دیا جائے گا اور لوگوں پر (مطلقاً) ظلم نہ کیا جائے گا.
وَضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا قَرْيَةً كَانَتْ آمِنَةً مُّطْمَئِنَّةً يَأْتِيهَا رِزْقُهَا رَغَدًا مِّن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ فَكَفَرَتْ بِأَنْعُمِ اللَّهِ فَأَذَاقَهَا اللَّهُ لِبَاسَ الْجُوعِ وَالْخَوْفِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ
English Translation:
And Allah puts forward the example of a township (Makkah), that dwelt secure and well content; its provision coming to it in abundance from every place, but it (its people) denied the Favours of Allah (with ungratefulness). So Allah made it taste the extreme of hunger (famine) and fear, because of that (evil, i.e. denying Prophet Muhammad SAW) which they (its people) used to do.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ اس بستی کی مثال بیان فرماتا ہے جو پورے امن واطمینان سے تھی اس کی روزی اس کے پاس بافراغت ہر جگہ سے چلی آرہی تھی۔ پھر اس نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی نعمتوں کا کفر کیا تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے اسے بھوک اور ڈر کا مزه چکھایا جو بدلہ تھا ان کے کرتوتوں کا.
وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ
English Translation:
And verily, there had come unto them a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves, but they denied him, so the torment overtook them while they were Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.).
اردو ترجمہ:
ان کے پاس انہی میں سے رسول پہنچا پھر بھی انہوں نے اسے جھٹلایا پس انہیں عذاب نے آدبوچا اور وه تھے ہی ظالم.
فَكُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا وَاشْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ
English Translation:
So eat of the lawful and good food which Allah has provided for you. And be grateful for the Graces of Allah, if it is He Whom you worship.
اردو ترجمہ:
جو کچھ حلال اور پاکیزه روزی اللہ نے تمہیں دے رکھی ہے اسے کھاؤ اور اللہ کی نعمت کا شکر کرو اگر تم اسی کی عبادت کرتے ہو.(1)
إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الْخِنزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ ۖ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلَا عَادٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
English Translation:
He has forbidden you only Al-Maytatah (meat of a dead animal), blood, the flesh of swine, and any animal which is slaughtered as a sacrifice for others than Allah (or has been slaughtered for idols etc. or on which Allah's Name has not been mentioned while slaughtering). But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, and not transgressing, then, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
تم پر صرف مردار اور خون اور سور کا گوشت اور جس چیز پر اللہ کے سوا دوسرے کا نام پکارا جائے حرام ہیں ، پھر اگر کوئی شخص بے بس کر دیا جائے نہ وه خواہشمند ہو اور نہ حد سے گزرنے والا ہو تو یقیناً اللہ بخشنے والا رحم کرنے والا ہے.
وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَا تَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُكُمُ الْكَذِبَ هَـٰذَا حَلَالٌ وَهَـٰذَا حَرَامٌ لِّتَفْتَرُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَ
English Translation:
And say not concerning that which your tongues put forth falsely: "This is lawful and this is forbidden," so as to invent lies against Allah. Verily, those who invent lies against Allah will never prosper.
اردو ترجمہ:
کسی چیز کو اپنی زبان سے جھوٹ موٹ نہ کہہ دیا کرو کہ یہ حلال ہے اور یہ حرام ہے کہ اللہ پر جھوٹ بہتان باندھ لو ، سمجھ لو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ پر بہتان بازی کرنے والے کامیابی سے محروم ہی رہتے ہیں.
مَتَاعٌ قَلِيلٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
English Translation:
A passing brief enjoyment (will be theirs), but they will have a painful torment.
اردو ترجمہ:
انہیں بہت معمولی فائده ملتا ہے اور ان کے لئے ہی دردناک عذاب ہے.
وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُوا حَرَّمْنَا مَا قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَمَا ظَلَمْنَاهُمْ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
English Translation:
And unto those who are Jews, We have forbidden such things as We have mentioned to you (O Muhammad SAW) before [in Surat-Al-An'am, (The Cattle), see Verse 6:146]. And We wronged them not, but they used to wrong themselves.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور یہودیوں پر جو کچھ ہم نے حرام کیا تھا اسے ہم پہلے ہی سے آپ کو سنا چکے ہیں ، ہم نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا بلکہ وه خود اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے رہے.
ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا السُّوءَ بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابُوا مِن بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِن بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
English Translation:
Then, verily! Your Lord for those who do evil (commit sins and are disobedient to Allah) in ignorance and afterward repent and do righteous deeds, verily, your Lord thereafter, (to such) is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
جو کوئی جہالت سے برے عمل کرلے پھر توبہ کرلے اور اصلاح بھی کرلے تو پھر آپ کا رب بلا شک وشبہ بڑی بخشش کرنے والا اور نہایت ہی مہربان ہے.
إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ كَانَ أُمَّةً قَانِتًا لِّلَّهِ حَنِيفًا وَلَمْ يَكُ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
English Translation:
Verily, Ibrahim (Abraham) was an Ummah (a leader having all the good righteous qualities), or a nation, obedient to Allah, Hanifa (i.e. to worship none but Allah), and he was not one of those who were Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, and those who joined partners with Allah).
اردو ترجمہ:
بےشک ابراہیم پیشوا اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے فرمانبردار اور یک طرفہ مخلص تھے۔ وه مشرکوں میں سے نہ تھے.
شَاكِرًا لِّأَنْعُمِهِ ۚ اجْتَبَاهُ وَهَدَاهُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
English Translation:
(He was) thankful for His (Allah's) Graces. He (Allah) chose him (as an intimate friend) and guided him to a Straight Path (Islamic Monotheism, neither Judaism nor Christianity).
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ کی نعمتوں کے شکر گزار تھے، اللہ نے انہیں اپنا برگزیده کر لیا تھا اور انہیں راه راست سجھا دی تھی.
وَآتَيْنَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً ۖ وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
English Translation:
And We gave him good in this world, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the righteous.
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم نے اسے دنیا میں بھی بہتری دی تھی اور بےشک وه آخرت میں بھی نیکوکاروں میں ہیں.
ثُمَّ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ أَنِ اتَّبِعْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
English Translation:
Then, We have inspired you (O Muhammad SAW saying): "Follow the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism - to worship none but Allah) and he was not of the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers, etc.).
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر ہم نے آپ کی جانب وحی بھیجی کہ آپ ملت ابراہیم حنیف کی پیروی کریں ، جو مشرکوں میں سے نہ تھے.
إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ السَّبْتُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ ۚ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
English Translation:
The Sabbath was only prescribed for those who differed concerning it, and verily, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they used to differ.
اردو ترجمہ:
ہفتے کے دن کی عظمت تو صرف ان لوگوں کے ذمے ہی ضروری کی گئی تھی جنہوں نے اس میں اختلاف کیا تھا ، بات یہ ہے کہ آپ کا پروردگار خود ہی ان میں ان کے اختلاف کا فیصلہ قیامت کے دن کرے گا.
ادْعُ إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ ۖ وَجَادِلْهُم بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ ۖ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ
English Translation:
Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Quran) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.
اردو ترجمہ:
اپنے رب کی راه کی طرف لوگوں کو حکمت اور بہترین نصیحت کے ساتھ بلایئے اور ان سے بہترین طریقے سے گفتگو کیجئے ، یقیناً آپ کا رب اپنی راه سے بہکنے والوں کو بھی بخوبی جانتا ہے اور وه راه یافتہ لوگوں سے بھی پورا واقف ہے.
وَإِنْ عَاقَبْتُمْ فَعَاقِبُوا بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبْتُم بِهِ ۖ وَلَئِن صَبَرْتُمْ لَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لِّلصَّابِرِينَ
English Translation:
And if you punish (your enemy, O you believers in the Oneness of Allah), then punish them with the like of that with which you were afflicted. But if you endure patiently, verily, it is better for As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اگر بدلہ لو بھی تو بالکل اتنا ہی جتنا صدمہ تمہیں پہنچایا گیا ہو اور اگر صبر کرلو تو بےشک صابروں کے لئے یہی بہتر ہے.
وَاصْبِرْ وَمَا صَبْرُكَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ ۚ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُ فِي ضَيْقٍ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ
English Translation:
And endure you patiently (O Muhammad SAW), your patience is not but from Allah. And grieve not over them (polytheists and pagans, etc.), and be not distressed because of what they plot.
اردو ترجمہ:
آپ صبر کریں بغیر توفیق الٰہی کے آپ صبر کر ہی نہیں سکتے اور ان کے حال پر رنجیده نہ ہوں اور جو مکر وفریب یہ کرتے رہتے ہیں ان سے تنگ دل نہ ہوں.
إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوا وَّالَّذِينَ هُم مُّحْسِنُونَ
English Translation:
Truly, Allah is with those who fear Him (keep their duty unto Him), and those who are Muhsinun (good-doers, - see the footnote of V. 9:120).
اردو ترجمہ:
یقین مانو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ پرہیزگاروں اور نیک کاروں کے ساتھ ہے.
