English Translation:
Ha-Mim.
اردو ترجمہ:
حٰم.
عسق
English Translation:
'Ain-Sin-Qaf. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].
اردو ترجمہ:
عسق.
كَذَٰلِكَ يُوحِي إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ اللَّهُ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
English Translation:
Likewise Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise inspires you (O Muhammad SAW) as (He inspired) those before you.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ جو زبردست ہے اور حکمت والا ہے اسی طرح تیری طرف اور تجھ سے اگلوں کی طرف وحی بھیجتا رہا.
لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
English Translation:
To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and He is the Most High, the Most Great.
اردو ترجمہ:
آسمانوں کی (تمام) چیزیں اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے سب اسی کا ہے وه برتر اور عظیم الشان ہے.
تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِن فَوْقِهِنَّ ۚ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
English Translation:
Nearly the heavens might rent asunder from above them (by His Majesty), and the angels glorify the praises of their Lord, and ask for forgiveness for those on the earth, verily, Allah is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
قریب ہے آسمان اوپر سے پھٹ پڑیں اور تمام فرشتے اپنے رب کی پاکی تعریف کے ساتھ بیان کر رہے ہیں اور زمین والوں کے لیے استغفار کر رہے ہیں۔ خوب سمجھ رکھو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہی معاف فرمانے والا رحمت والا ہے.
وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهُ حَفِيظٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ
English Translation:
And as for those who take as Auliya' (guardians, supporters, helpers, protectors, etc.) others besides Him [i.e. they take false deities other than Allah (as) protectors, and they worship them] Allah is Hafiz (Protector) over them (i.e. takes care of their deeds and will recompense them), and you (O Muhammad SAW) are not a Wakil (guardian or a disposer of their affairs) over them (to protect their deeds, etc.).

اور جن لوگوں نے اس کے سوا دوسروں کو کارساز بنالیا ہے اللہ تعالیٰ ان پر نگران ہے اور آپ ان کے ذمہ دار نہیں ہیں.
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّتُنذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَتُنذِرَ يَوْمَ الْجَمْعِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ فَرِيقٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَفَرِيقٌ فِي السَّعِيرِ
English Translation:
And thus We have inspired unto you (O Muhammad SAW) a Quran (in Arabic) that you may warn the Mother of the Towns (Makkah) and all around it. And warn of the Day of Assembling, of which there is no doubt, when a party will be in Paradise (those who believed in Allah and followed what Allah's Messenger SAW brought them) and a party in the blazing Fire (Hell) (those who disbelieved in Allah and followed not what Allah's Messenger SAW brought them).
اردو ترجمہ:
اسی طرح ہم نے آپ کی طرف عربی قرآن کی وحی کی ہے تاکہ آپ مکہ والوں کو اور اس کے آس پاس کے لوگوں کو خبردار کردیں اور جمع ہونے کے دن سے جس کے آنے میں کوئی شک نہیں ڈرا دیں۔ ایک گروه جنت میں ہوگا اور ایک گروه جہنم میں ہوگا.
وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَهُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَـٰكِن يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَاءُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ ۚ وَالظَّالِمُونَ مَا لَهُم مِّن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
English Translation:
And if Allah had willed, He could have made them one nation, but He admits whom He wills to His Mercy. And the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) will have neither a Wali (protector) nor a helper.
اردو ترجمہ:
اگر اللہ تعالیٰ چاہتا تو ان سب کو ایک ہی امت کا بنا دیتا لیکن وه جسے چاہتا ہے اپنی رحمت میں داخل کرلیتا ہے اور ظالموں کا حامی اور مددگار کوئی نہیں.
أَمِ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ ۖ فَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْوَلِيُّ وَهُوَ يُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
English Translation:
Or have they taken (for worship) Auliya' (guardians, supporters, helpers, protectors, etc.) besides Him? But Allah, He Alone is the Wali (Protector, etc.). And it is He Who gives life to the dead, and He is Able to do all things.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا ان لوگوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا اور کارساز بنالیے ہیں، (حقیقتاً تو) اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کارساز ہے وہی مُردوں کو زنده کرے گا اور وہی ہر چیز پر قادر ہے.
وَمَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ مِن شَيْءٍ فَحُكْمُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبِّي عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ
English Translation:
And in whatsoever you differ, the decision thereof is with Allah (He is the ruling Judge). (And say O Muhammad SAW to these polytheists:) Such is Allah, my Lord in Whom I put my trust, and to Him I turn in all of my affairs and in repentance.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جس جس چیز میں تمہارا اختلاف ہو اس کا فیصلہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کی طرف ہے ، یہی اللہ میرا رب ہے جس پر میں نے بھروسہ کر رکھا ہے اور جس کی طرف میں جھکتا ہوں.
فَاطِرُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَمِنَ الْأَنْعَامِ أَزْوَاجًا ۖ يَذْرَؤُكُمْ فِيهِ ۚ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ ۖ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ
English Translation:
The Creator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you mates from yourselves, and for the cattle (also) mates. By this means He creates you (in the wombs). There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.
اردو ترجمہ:
وه آسمانوں اور زمین کا پیدا کرنے والا ہے اس نے تمہارے لیے تمہاری جنس کے جوڑے بنادیئے ہیں اور چوپایوں کے جوڑے بنائے ہیں تمہیں وه اس میں پھیلا رہا ہے اس جیسی کوئی چیز نہیں وه سننے اور دیکھنے والا ہے.
لَهُ مَقَالِيدُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
English Translation:
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth, He enlarges provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills). Verily! He is the All-Knower of everything.
اردو ترجمہ:
آسمانوں اور زمین کی کنجیاں اسی کی ہیں ، جس کی چاہے روزی کشاده کردے اور تنگ کردے، یقیناً وه ہر چیز کو جاننے والا ہے.
۞ شَرَعَ لَكُم مِّنَ الدِّينِ مَا وَصَّىٰ بِهِ نُوحًا وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَمَا وَصَّيْنَا بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ ۖ أَنْ أَقِيمُوا الدِّينَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا فِيهِ ۚ كَبُرَ عَلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ مَا تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَيْهِ ۚ اللَّهُ يَجْتَبِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يُنِيبُ
English Translation:
He (Allah) has ordained for you the same religion (Islam) which He ordained for Nuh (Noah), and that which We have inspired in you (O Muhammad SAW), and that which We ordained for Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses) and 'Iesa (Jesus) saying you should establish religion (i.e. to do what it orders you to do practically), and make no divisions in it (religion) (i.e. various sects in religion). Intolerable for the Mushrikun, is that to which you (O Muhammad SAW) call them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills, and guides unto Himself who turns to Him in repentance and in obedience.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہارے لیے وہی دین مقرر کردیا ہے جس کے قائم کرنے کا اس نے نوح (علیہ السلام) کو حکم دیا تھا اور جو (بذریعہ وحی) ہم نے تیری طرف بھیج دی ہے، اور جس کا تاکیدی حکم ہم نے ابراہیم اور موسیٰ اور عیسیٰ (علیہم السلام) کو دیا تھا ، کہ اس دین کو قائم رکھنا اور اس میں پھوٹ نہ ڈالنا جس چیز کی طرف آپ انہیں بلا رہے ہیں وه تو (ان) مشرکین پر گراں گزرتی ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ جسے چاہتا ہے اپنا برگزیده بناتا ہے اور جو بھی اس کی طرف رجوع کرے وه اس کی صحیح ره نمائی کرتا ہے.
وَمَا تَفَرَّقُوا إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى لَّقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ أُورِثُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍ
English Translation:
And they divided not till after knowledge had come to them, through selfish transgression between themselves. And had it not been for a Word that went forth before from your Lord for an appointed term, the matter would have been settled between them. And verily, those who were made to inherit the Scripture [i.e. the Taurah (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] after them (i.e. Jews and Christians) are in grave doubt concerning it (i.e. Allah's true religion Islam or the Quran).
اردو ترجمہ:
ان لوگوں نے اپنے پاس علم آجانے کے بعد ہی اختلاف کیا (اور وه بھی) باہمی ضد بحﺚ سے اور اگر آپ کے رب کی بات ایک وقت مقرر تک کے لیے پہلے ہی سے قرار پا گئی ہوئی نہ ہوتی تو یقیناً ان کا فیصلہ ہوچکا ہوتا اور جن لوگوں کو ان کے بعد کتاب دی گئی ہے وه بھی اس کی طرف سے الجھن والے شک میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں.
فَلِذَٰلِكَ فَادْعُ ۖ وَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ ۖ وَقُلْ آمَنتُ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِن كِتَابٍ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَعْدِلَ بَيْنَكُمُ ۖ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ ۖ لَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ ۖ لَا حُجَّةَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ ۖ اللَّهُ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَنَا ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ
English Translation:
So unto this (religion of Islam, alone and this Quran) then invite (people) (O Muhammad SAW), and Istaqim [(i.e. stand firm and straight on Islamic Monotheism by performing all that is ordained by Allah (good deeds, etc.), and by abstaining from all that is forbidden by Allah (sins and evil deeds, etc.)], as you are commanded, and follow not their desires but say: "I believe in whatsoever Allah has sent down of the Book [all the holy Books, this Quran and the Books of the old from the Taurat (Torah), or the Injeel (Gospel) or the Pages of Ibrahim (Abraham)] and I am commanded to do justice among you, Allah is our Lord and your Lord. For us our deeds and for you your deeds. There is no dispute between us and you. Allah will assemble us (all), and to Him is the final return.
اردو ترجمہ:
پس آپ لوگوں کو اسی طرف بلاتے رہیں اور جو کچھ آپ سے کہا گیا ہے اس پر مضبوطی سے جم جائیں اور ان کی خواہشوں پر نہ چلیں اور کہہ دیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے جتنی کتابیں نازل فرمائی ہیں میرا ان پر ایمان ہے اور مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ تم میں انصاف کرتا رہوں۔ ہمارا اور تم سب کا پروردگار اللہ ہی ہے ہمارے اعمال ہمارے لیے ہیں اور تمہارے اعمال تمہارے لیے ہیں، ہم تم میں کوئی کٹ حجتی نہیں اللہ تعالیٰ ہم (سب) کو جمع کرے گا اور اسی کی طرف لوٹنا ہے.
وَالَّذِينَ يُحَاجُّونَ فِي اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ حُجَّتُهُمْ دَاحِضَةٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ
English Translation:
And those who dispute concerning Allah (His Religion of Islamic Monotheism, with which Muhammad SAW has been sent), after it has been accepted (by the people), of no use is their dispute before their Lord, and on them is wrath, and for them will be a severe torment.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جو لوگ اللہ تعالیٰ کی باتوں میں جھگڑا ڈالتے ہیں اس کے بعد کہ (مخلوق) اسے مان چکی ان کی کٹ حجتی اللہ کے نزدیک باطل ہے، اور ان پر غضب ہے اور ان کے لیے سخت عذاب ہے.
اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ وَالْمِيزَانَ ۗ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ قَرِيبٌ
English Translation:
It is Allah Who has sent down the Book (the Quran) in truth, and the Balance (i.e. to act justly). And what can make you know that perhaps the Hour is close at hand?
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ نے حق کے ساتھ کتاب نازل فرمائی ہے اور ترازو بھی (اتاری ہے) اور آپ کو کیا خبر شاید قیامت قریب ہی ہو.
يَسْتَعْجِلُ بِهَا الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهَا ۖ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مُشْفِقُونَ مِنْهَا وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهَا الْحَقُّ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُمَارُونَ فِي السَّاعَةِ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ
English Translation:
Those who believe not therein seek to hasten it, while those who believe are fearful of it, and know that it is the very truth. Verily, those who dispute concerning the Hour are certainly in error far away.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس کی جلدی انہیں پڑی ہے جو اسے نہیں مانتے اور جو اس پر یقین رکھتے ہیں وه تو اس سے ڈر رہے ہیں انہیں اس کے حق ہونے کا پورا علم ہے۔ یاد رکھو جو لوگ قیامت کے معاملہ میں لڑ جھگڑ رہے ہیں، وه دور کی گمراہی میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں.
اللَّهُ لَطِيفٌ بِعِبَادِهِ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاءُ ۖ وَهُوَ الْقَوِيُّ الْعَزِيزُ
English Translation:
Allah is very Gracious and Kind to His slaves. He gives provisions to whom He wills. And He is the All-Strong, the All-Mighty.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندوں پر بڑا ہی لطف کرنے والا ہے، جسے چاہتا ہے کشاده روزی دیتا ہے اور وه بڑی طاقت، بڑے غلبہ والا ہے.
مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الْآخِرَةِ نَزِدْ لَهُ فِي حَرْثِهِ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِن نَّصِيبٍ
English Translation:
Whosoever desires (with his deeds) the reward of the Hereafter, We give him increase in his reward, and whosoever desires the reward of this world (with his deeds), We give him thereof (what is written for him), and he has no portion in the Hereafter.
اردو ترجمہ:
جس کا اراده آخرت کی کھیتی کا ہو ہم اسے اس کی کھیتی میں ترقی دیں گے اور جو دنیا کی کھیتی کی طلب رکھتا ہو ہم اسے اس میں سے ہی کچھ دے دیں گے، ایسے شخص کا آخرت میں کوئی حصہ نہیں.
أَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ شَرَعُوا لَهُم مِّنَ الدِّينِ مَا لَمْ يَأْذَن بِهِ اللَّهُ ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةُ الْفَصْلِ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۗ وَإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
English Translation:
Or have they partners with Allah (false gods), who have instituted for them a religion which Allah has not allowed. And had it not been for a decisive Word (gone forth already), the matter would have been judged between them. And verily, for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers), there is a painful torment.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا ان لوگوں نے ایسے (اللہ کے) شریک (مقرر کر رکھے) ہیں جنہوں نے ایسے احکام دین مقرر کر دیئے ہیں جو اللہ کے فرمائے ہوئے نہیں ہیں ۔ اگر فیصلے کے دن کا وعده نہ ہوتا تو (ابھی ہی) ان میں فیصلہ کردیا جاتا۔ یقیناً (ان) ظالموں کے لیے ہی دردناک عذاب ہے.
تَرَى الظَّالِمِينَ مُشْفِقِينَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا وَهُوَ وَاقِعٌ بِهِمْ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فِي رَوْضَاتِ الْجَنَّاتِ ۖ لَهُم مَّا يَشَاءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْكَبِيرُ
English Translation:
You will see (on the Day of Resurrection), the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) fearful of that which they have earned, and it (Allah's Torment) will surely befall them, while those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous deeds (will be) in the flowering meadows of the Gardens (Paradise), having what they wish from their Lord. That is the supreme Grace, (Paradise).
اردو ترجمہ:
آپ دیکھیں گے کہ یہ ظالم اپنے اعمال سے ڈر رہے ہوں گے جن کے وبال ان پر واقع ہونے والے ہیں، اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے نیک اعمال کیے وه بہشتوں کے باغات میں ہوں گے وه جو خواہش کریں اپنے رب کے پاس موجود پائیں گے یہی ہے بڑا فضل.
ذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يُبَشِّرُ اللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ ۗ قُل لَّا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبَىٰ ۗ وَمَن يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَّزِدْ لَهُ فِيهَا حُسْنًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ
English Translation:
That is (the Paradise) whereof Allah gives glad tidings to His slaves who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds. Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No reward do I ask of you for this except to be kind to me for my kinship with you." And whoever earns a good righteous deed, We shall give him an increase of good in respect thereof. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (the deeds of those who are obedient to Him).
اردو ترجمہ:
یہی وه ہے جس کی بشارت اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے ان بندوں کو دے رہا ہے جو ایمان لائے اور (سنت کے مطابق) نیک عمل کیے تو کہہ دیجئے! کہ میں اس پر تم سے کوئی بدلہ نہیں چاہتا مگر محبت رشتہ داری کی ، جو شخص کوئی نیکی کرے ہم اس کے لیے اس کی نیکی میں اور نیکی بڑھا دیں گے۔ بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ بخشنے والا (اور) بہت قدر دان ہے.
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا ۖ فَإِن يَشَإِ اللَّهُ يَخْتِمْ عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ ۗ وَيَمْحُ اللَّهُ الْبَاطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
English Translation:
Or say they: "He has invented a lie against Allah?" If Allah willed, He could have sealed your heart (so that you forget all that you know of the Quran). And Allah wipes out falsehood, and establishes the truth (Islam) by His Word (this Qur'an). Verily, He knows well what (the secrets) are in the breasts (of mankind).
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا یہ کہتے ہیں کہ (پیغمبر نے) اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھا ہے، اگر اللہ تعالیٰ چاہے تو آپ کے دل پر مہر لگادے اور اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی باتوں سے جھوٹ کو مٹا دیتا ہے اور سچ کو ﺛابت رکھتا ہے۔ وه سینے کی باتوں کو جاننے والا ہے.
وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَعْفُو عَنِ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
English Translation:
And He it is Who accepts repentance from His slaves, and forgives sins, and He knows what you do.
اردو ترجمہ:
وہی ہے جو اپنے بندوں کی توبہ قبول فرماتا ہے اور گناہوں سے درگزر فرماتا ہے اور جو کچھ تم کررہے ہو (سب) جانتا ہے.
وَيَسْتَجِيبُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَيَزِيدُهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ ۚ وَالْكَافِرُونَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ
English Translation:
And He answers (the invocation of) those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and gives them increase of His Bounty. And as for the disbelievers, theirs will be a severe torment.
اردو ترجمہ:
ایمان والوں اور نیکوکار لوگوں کی سنتا ہے اور انہیں اپنے فضل سے اور بڑھا کر دیتا ہے اور کفار کے لیے سخت عذاب ہے.
۞ وَلَوْ بَسَطَ اللَّهُ الرِّزْقَ لِعِبَادِهِ لَبَغَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَـٰكِن يُنَزِّلُ بِقَدَرٍ مَّا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِعِبَادِهِ خَبِيرٌ بَصِيرٌ
English Translation:
And if Allah were to enlarge the provision for His slaves, they would surely rebel in the earth, but He sends down by measure as He wills. Verily! He is in respect of His slaves, the Well-Aware, the All-Seer (of things that benefit them).
اردو ترجمہ:
اگر اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے (سب) بندوں کی روزی فراخ کر دیتا تو وه زمین میں فساد برپا کردیتے لیکن وه اندازے کے ساتھ جو کچھ چاہتا ہے نازل فرماتا ہے۔ وه اپنے بندوں سے پورا خبردار ہے اور خوب دیکھنے والا ہے.
وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ مِن بَعْدِ مَا قَنَطُوا وَيَنشُرُ رَحْمَتَهُ ۚ وَهُوَ الْوَلِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
English Translation:
And He it is Who sends down the rain after they have despaired, and spreads abroad His Mercy. And He is the Wali (Helper, Supporter, Protector, etc.), Worthy of all Praise.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور وہی ہے جو لوگوں کے ناامید ہوجانے کے بعد بارش برساتا اور اپنی رحمت پھیلا دیتا ہے وہی ہے کارساز اور قابل حمد و ثنا.
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيهِمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ ۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ جَمْعِهِمْ إِذَا يَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ
English Translation:
And among His Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.) is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and whatever moving (living) creatures He has dispersed in them both. And He is All-Potent over their assembling (i.e. resurrecting them on the Day of Resurrection after their death, and dispersion of their bodies) whenever He will.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اس کی نشانیوں میں سے آسمانوں اور زمین کی پیدائش ہے اور ان میں جانداروں کا پھیلانا ہے۔ وه اس پر بھی قادر ہے کہ جب چاہے انہیں جمع کردے.
وَمَا أَصَابَكُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُو عَن كَثِيرٍ
English Translation:
And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much. (See the Quran Verse 35:45).
اردو ترجمہ:
تمہیں جو کچھ مصیبتیں پہنچتی ہیں وه تمہارے اپنے ہاتھوں کے کرتوت کابدلہ ہے، اور وه تو بہت سی باتوں سے درگزر فرما دیتا ہے.
وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
English Translation:
And you cannot escape from Allah (i.e. His Punishment) in the earth, and besides Allah you have neither any Wali (guardian or a protector) nor any helper.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور تم ہمیں زمین میں عاجز کرنے والے نہیں ہو ، تمہارے لیے سوائے اللہ تعالیٰ کے نہ کوئی کارساز ہے نہ مددگار.
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ الْجَوَارِ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْأَعْلَامِ
English Translation:
And among His Signs are the ships, in the sea, like mountains.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور دریا میں چلنے والی پہاڑوں جیسی کشتیاں اس کی نشانیوں میں سے ہیں.
إِن يَشَأْ يُسْكِنِ الرِّيحَ فَيَظْلَلْنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ
English Translation:
If He wills, He causes the wind to cease, then they would become motionless on the back (of the sea). Verily, in this are signs for everyone patient and grateful.
اردو ترجمہ:
اگر وه چاہے تو ہوا بند کردے اور یہ کشتیاں سمندروں پر رکی ره جائیں۔ یقیناً اس میں ہر صبر کرنے والے شکرگزار کے لیے نشانیاں ہیں.
أَوْ يُوبِقْهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُوا وَيَعْفُ عَن كَثِيرٍ
English Translation:
Or He may destroy them (by drowning) because of that which their (people) have earned. And He pardons much.
اردو ترجمہ:
یا انہیں ان کے کرتوتوں کے باعﺚ تباه کردے ، وه تو بہت سے خطاؤں سے درگزر فرمایا کرتا ہے.
وَيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِيصٍ
English Translation:
And those who dispute (polytheists, etc. with Our Messenger Muhammad SAW) as regards Our Ayat (proofs, signs, verses, etc. of Islamic Monotheism) may know that there is no place of refuge for them (from Allah's punishment).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور تاکہ جو لوگ ہماری نشانیوں میں جھگڑتے ہیں وه معلوم کرلیں کہ ان کے لیے کوئی چھٹکارا نہیں.
فَمَا أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَمَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَمَا عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
English Translation:
So whatever you have been given is but a passing enjoyment for this worldly life, but that which is with Allah (Paradise) is better and more lasting for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and put their trust in their Lord (concerning all of their affairs).
اردو ترجمہ:
تو تمہیں جو کچھ دیا گیا ہے وه زندگانی دنیا کا کچھ یونہی سا اسباب ہے ، اور اللہ کے پاس جو ہے وه اس سے بدرجہ بہتر اور پائیدار ہے، وه ان کے لیے ہے جو ایمان لائے اور صرف اپنے رب ہی پر بھروسہ رکھتے ہیں.
وَالَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَائِرَ الْإِثْمِ وَالْفَوَاحِشَ وَإِذَا مَا غَضِبُوا هُمْ يَغْفِرُونَ
English Translation:
And those who avoid the greater sins, and Al-Fawahish (illegal sexual intercourse, etc.), and when they are angry, they forgive
اردو ترجمہ:
اور کبیره گناہوں سے اور بے حیائیوں سے بچتے ہیں اور غصے کے وقت (بھی) معاف کردیتے ہیں.
وَالَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَمْرُهُمْ شُورَىٰ بَيْنَهُمْ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ
English Translation:
And those who answer the Call of their Lord [i.e. to believe that He is the only One Lord (Allah), and to worship none but Him Alone], and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and who (conduct) their affairs by mutual consultation, and who spend of what We have bestowed on them;
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اپنے رب کے فرمان کو قبول کرتے ہیں اور نماز کی پابندی کرتے ہیں اور ان کا (ہر) کام آپس کے مشورے سے ہوتا ہے، اور جو ہم نے انہیں دے رکھا ہے اس میں سے (ہمارے نام پر) دیتے ہیں.
وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْبَغْيُ هُمْ يَنتَصِرُونَ
English Translation:
And those who, when an oppressive wrong is done to them, they take revenge.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جب ان پر ظلم (و زیادتی) ہو تو وه صرف بدلہ لے لیتے ہیں.
وَجَزَاءُ سَيِّئَةٍ سَيِّئَةٌ مِّثْلُهَا ۖ فَمَنْ عَفَا وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ
English Translation:
The recompense for an evil is an evil like thereof, but whoever forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah. Verily, He likes not the Zalimun (oppressors, polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور برائی کا بدلہ اسی جیسی برائی ہے ، اور جو معاف کر دے اور اصلاح کرلے اس کا اجر اللہ کے ذمے ہے، (فی الواقع) اللہ تعالیٰ ظالموں سے محبت نہیں کرتا.
وَلَمَنِ انتَصَرَ بَعْدَ ظُلْمِهِ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ مَا عَلَيْهِم مِّن سَبِيلٍ
English Translation:
And indeed whosoever takes revenge after he has suffered wrong, for such there is no way (of blame) against them.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جو شخص اپنے مظلوم ہونے کے بعد (برابر کا) بدلہ لے لے تو ایسے لوگوں پر (الزام کا) کوئی راستہ نہیں.
إِنَّمَا السَّبِيلُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَظْلِمُونَ النَّاسَ وَيَبْغُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ ۚ أُولَـٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
English Translation:
The way (of blame) is only against those who oppress men and wrongly rebel in the earth, for such there will be a painful torment.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ راستہ صرف ان لوگوں پر ہے جو خود دوسروں پر ظلم کریں اور زمین میں ناحق فساد کرتے پھریں، یہی لوگ ہیں جن کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے.
وَلَمَن صَبَرَ وَغَفَرَ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ
English Translation:
And verily, whosoever shows patience and forgives that would truly be from the things recommended by Allah.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جو شخص صبر کر لے اور معاف کردے یقیناً یہ بڑی ہمت کے کاموں میں سے (ایک کام) ہے.
وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن وَلِيٍّ مِّن بَعْدِهِ ۗ وَتَرَى الظَّالِمِينَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ يَقُولُونَ هَلْ إِلَىٰ مَرَدٍّ مِّن سَبِيلٍ
English Translation:
And whomsoever Allah sends astray, for him there is no Wali (protector) after Him. And you will see the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, oppressors, etc.) when they behold the torment, they will say: "Is there any way of return (to the world)?"
اردو ترجمہ:
اور جسے اللہ تعالیٰ بہکا دے اس کا اس کے بعد کوئی چاره ساز نہیں، اور تو دیکھے گا کہ ظالم لوگ عذاب کو دیکھ کر کہہ رہے ہوں گے کہ کیا واپس جانے کی کوئی راه ہے.
وَتَرَاهُمْ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيْهَا خَاشِعِينَ مِنَ الذُّلِّ يَنظُرُونَ مِن طَرْفٍ خَفِيٍّ ۗ وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ الْخَاسِرِينَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ فِي عَذَابٍ مُّقِيمٍ
English Translation:
And you will see them brought forward to it (Hell) made humble by disgrace, (and) looking with stealthy glance. And those who believe will say: "Verily, the losers are they who lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, the Zalimun [i.e. Al-Kafirun (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness and in His Messenger SAW, polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.)] will be in a lasting torment.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور تو انہیں دیکھے گا کہ وه (جہنم کے) سامنے لاکھڑے کیے جائیں گے مارے ذلت کے جھکے جارہے ہوں گے اور کنکھیوں سے دیکھ رہے ہوں گے، ایمان والے صاف کہیں گے کہ حقیقی زیاںکار وه ہیں جنہوں نے آج قیامت کے دن اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے گھر والوں کو نقصان میں ڈال دیا۔ یاد رکھو کہ یقیناً ظالم لوگ دائمی عذاب میں ہیں.
وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ يَنصُرُونَهُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن سَبِيلٍ
English Translation:
And they will have no Auliya' (protectors) to help them other than Allah. And he whom Allah sends astray, for him there is no way.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان کے کوئی مددگار نہیں جو اللہ تعالیٰ سے الگ ان کی امداد کرسکیں اور جسے اللہ گمراه کردے اس کے لیے کوئی راستہ ہی نہیں.
اسْتَجِيبُوا لِرَبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۚ مَا لَكُم مِّن مَّلْجَإٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّكِيرٍ
English Translation:
Answer the Call of your Lord (i.e. accept the Islamic Monotheism, O mankind, and jinns) before there comes from Allah a Day which cannot be averted. You will have no refuge on that Day nor there will be for you any denying (of your crimes as they are all recorded in the Book of your deeds).
اردو ترجمہ:
اپنے رب کا حکم مان لو اس سے پہلے کہ اللہ کی جانب سے وه دن آجائے جس کا ہٹ جانا ناممکن ہے، تمہیں اس روز نہ تو کوئی پناه کی جگہ ملے گی نہ چھﭗ کر انجان بن جانے کی.
فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا فَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا ۖ إِنْ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ ۗ وَإِنَّا إِذَا أَذَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةً فَرِحَ بِهَا ۖ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَإِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ كَفُورٌ
English Translation:
But if they turn away (O Muhammad SAW from the Islamic Monotheism, which you have brought to them). We have not sent you (O Muhammad SAW) as a Hafiz (protector) over them (i.e. to take care of their deeds and to recompense them). Your duty is to convey (the Message). And verily, when We cause man to taste of Mercy from Us, he rejoices thereat, but when some ill befalls them because of the deeds which their hands have sent forth, then verily, man (becomes) ingrate!
اردو ترجمہ:
اگر یہ منھ پھیرلیں تو ہم نے آپ کو ان پر نگہبان بنا کر نہیں بھیجا، آپ کے ذمہ تو صرف پیغام پہنچا دینا ہے ، ہم جب کبھی انسان کو اپنی مہربانی کا مزه چکھاتے ہیں تو وه اس پر اترا جاتا ہے اور اگر انہیں ان کے اعمال کی وجہ سے کوئی مصیبت پہنچتی ہے تو بےشک انسان بڑا ہی ناشکرا ہے.
لِّلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ يَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ إِنَاثًا وَيَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ الذُّكُورَ
English Translation:
To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He creates what He wills. He bestows female (offspring) upon whom He wills, and bestows male (offspring) upon whom He wills.
اردو ترجمہ:
آسمانوں کی اور زمین کی سلطنت اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کے لیے ہے، وه جو چاہتا ہے پیدا کرتا ہے جس کو چاہتا ہے بیٹیاں دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے بیٹے دیتا ہے.
أَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانًا وَإِنَاثًا ۖ وَيَجْعَلُ مَن يَشَاءُ عَقِيمًا ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ
English Translation:
Or He bestows both males and females, and He renders barren whom He wills. Verily, He is the All-Knower and is Able to do all things.
اردو ترجمہ:
یا انہیں جمع کردیتا ہے بیٹے بھی اور بیٹیاں بھی اور جسے چاہے بانجھ کر دیتا ہے، وه بڑے علم والا اور کامل قدرت والا ہے.
۞ وَمَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُكَلِّمَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَّا وَحْيًا أَوْ مِن وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ أَوْ يُرْسِلَ رَسُولًا فَيُوحِيَ بِإِذْنِهِ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ
English Translation:
It is not given to any human being that Allah should speak to him unless (it be) by Inspiration, or from behind a veil, or (that) He sends a Messenger to reveal what He wills by His Leave. Verily, He is Most High, Most Wise.
اردو ترجمہ:
ناممکن ہے کہ کسی بنده سے اللہ تعالیٰ کلام کرے مگر وحی کے ذریعہ یا پردے کے پیچھے سے یا کسی فرشتہ کو بھیجے اور وه اللہ کے حکم سے جو وه چاہے وحی کرے، بیشک وه برتر ہے حکمت والا ہے.
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ رُوحًا مِّنْ أَمْرِنَا ۚ مَا كُنتَ تَدْرِي مَا الْكِتَابُ وَلَا الْإِيمَانُ وَلَـٰكِن جَعَلْنَاهُ نُورًا نَّهْدِي بِهِ مَن نَّشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ۚ وَإِنَّكَ لَتَهْدِي إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
English Translation:
And thus We have sent to you (O Muhammad SAW) Ruhan (an Inspiration, and a Mercy) of Our Command. You knew not what is the Book, nor what is Faith? But We have made it (this Quran) a light wherewith We guide whosoever of Our slaves We will. And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are indeed guiding (mankind) to the Straight Path (i.e. Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اسی طرح ہم نے آپ کی طرف اپنے حکم سے روح کو اتارا ہے ، آپ اس سے پہلے یہ بھی نہیں جانتے تھے کہ کتاب اور ایمان کیا چیز ہے؟ لیکن ہم نے اسے نور بنایا، اس کے ذریعہ سے اپنے بندوں میں سے جسے چاہتے ہیں، ہدایت دیتے ہیں، بیشک آپ راه راست کی رہنمائی کر رہے ہیں.
صِرَاطِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَصِيرُ الْأُمُورُ
English Translation:
The Path of Allah, to Whom belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. Verily, all the matters at the end go to Allah (for decision).
اردو ترجمہ:
اس اللہ کی راه کی جس کی ملکیت میں آسمانوں اور زمین کی ہر چیز ہے۔ آگاه رہو سب کام اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کی طرف لوٹتے ہیں.
