بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
English Translation:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعالیٰ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے۔
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
English Translation:
All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
اردو ترجمہ:
سب تعریف اللہ تعالیٰ کے لئے ہے جو تمام جہانوں کا پالنے والا ہے۔
الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
English Translation:
The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
اردو ترجمہ:
بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا۔
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
English Translation:
The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)
اردو ترجمہ:
بدلے کے دن (یعنی قیامت) کا مالک ہے۔
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
English Translation:
You (Alone) we worship, and you (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything).
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم صرف تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور صرف تجھ ہی سے مدد چاہتے ہیں۔
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
English Translation:
Guide us to the Straight Way
اردو ترجمہ:
ہمیں سیدھی (اور سچی) راه دکھا۔
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
English Translation:
The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان لوگوں کی راه جن پر تو نے انعام کیا ان کی نہیں جن پر غضب کیا گیا (یعنی وه لوگ جنہوں نے حق کو پہچانا، مگر اس پر عمل پیرا نہیں ہوئے) اور نہ گمراہوں کی (یعنی وه لوگ جو جہالت کے سبب راه حق سے برگشتہ ہوگئے)۔
