At-Talaaq - Ayah No.8
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ عَتَتْ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهِ فَحَاسَبْنَاهَا حِسَابًا شَدِيدًا وَعَذَّبْنَاهَا عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا
English Translation
And many a town (population) revolted against the Command of its Lord and His Messengers, and We called it to a severe account (i.e. torment in this worldly life), and shall punish it with a horrible torment (in Hell, in the Hereafter).
اردو ترجمہ
اور بہت سی بستی والوں نے اپنے رب کے حکم سے اور اس کے رسولوں سے سرتابی کی تو ہم نے بھی ان سے سخت حساب کیا اور انہیں عذاب دیا ان دیکھا (سخت) عذاب.
