An-Nisaa - Ayah No.155
فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِم مِّيثَاقَهُمْ وَكُفْرِهِم بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَقَتْلِهِمُ الْأَنبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَقَوْلِهِمْ قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌ ۚ بَلْ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَا بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
English Translation
Because of their breaking the covenant, and of their rejecting the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, and of their killing the Prophets unjustly, and of their saying: "Our hearts are wrapped (with coverings, i.e. we do not understand what the Messengers say)" - nay, Allah has set a seal upon their hearts because of their disbelief, so they believe not but a little.
اردو ترجمہ
(یہ سزا تھی) بہ سبب ان کی عہد شکنی کے اور احکام الٰہی کے ساتھ کفر کرنے کے اور اللہ کے نبیوں کو ناحق قتل کر ڈالنے کے ، اور اس سبب سے کہ یوں کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارے دلوں پر غلاف ہے۔ حالانکہ دراصل ان کے کفر کی وجہ سے ان کے دلوں پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے مہر لگا دی ہے، اس لئے یہ قدر قلیل ہی ایمان لاتے ہیں۔
