Maryam - مريم (Surah 19)

كهيعص
English Translation:
Kaf- Ha-Ya-'Ain-Sad. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].
اردو ترجمہ:
کہیعص.(1)
ذِكْرُ رَحْمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَبْدَهُ زَكَرِيَّا
English Translation:
(This is) a mention of the mercy of your Lord to His slave Zakariya (Zachariah).
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ ہے تیرے پروردگار کی اس مہربانی کا ذکر جو اس نے اپنے بندے زکریا پر کی تھی.
إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُ نِدَاءً خَفِيًّا
English Translation:
When he called out his Lord (Allah) a call in secret,
اردو ترجمہ:
جبکہ اس نے اپنے رب سے چپکے چپکے دعا کی تھی.
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَهَنَ الْعَظْمُ مِنِّي وَاشْتَعَلَ الرَّأْسُ شَيْبًا وَلَمْ أَكُن بِدُعَائِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيًّا
English Translation:
Saying: "My Lord! Indeed my bones have grown feeble, and grey hair has spread on my head, And I have never been unblest in my invocation to You, O my Lord!
اردو ترجمہ:
کہ اے میرے پروردگار! میری ہڈیاں کمزور ہوگئی ہیں اور سر بڑھاپے کی وجہ سے بھڑک اٹھا ہے ، لیکن میں کبھی بھی تجھ سے دعا کر کے محروم نہیں رہا.
وَإِنِّي خِفْتُ الْمَوَالِيَ مِن وَرَائِي وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَتِي عَاقِرًا فَهَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا
English Translation:
"And Verily! I fear my relatives after me, since my wife is barren. So give me from Yourself an heir,
اردو ترجمہ:
مجھے اپنے مرنے کے بعد اپنے قرابت والوں کا ڈر ہے ، میری بیوی بھی بانجھ ہے پس تو مجھے اپنے پاس سے وارث عطا فرم.
يَرِثُنِي وَيَرِثُ مِنْ آلِ يَعْقُوبَ ۖ وَاجْعَلْهُ رَبِّ رَضِيًّا
English Translation:
"Who shall inherit me, and inherit (also) the posterity of Ya'qub (Jacob) (inheritance of the religious knowledge and Prophethood, not the wealth, etc.). And make him, my Lord, one with whom You are Well-pleased!".
اردو ترجمہ:
جو میرا بھی وارث ہو اور یعقوب (علیہ السلام) کے خاندان کا بھی جانشین اور میرے رب! تو اسے مقبول بنده بنا لے.
يَا زَكَرِيَّا إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَامٍ اسْمُهُ يَحْيَىٰ لَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُ مِن قَبْلُ سَمِيًّا
English Translation:
(Allah said) "O Zakariya (Zachariah)! Verily, We give you the glad tidings of a son, His name will be Yahya (John). We have given that name to none before (him)."
اردو ترجمہ:
اے زکریا! ہم تجھے ایک بچے کی خوشخبری دیتے ہیں جس کا نام یحيٰ ہے، ہم نے اس سے پہلے اس کا ہم نام بھی کسی کو نہیں کیا.
قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَتِي عَاقِرًا وَقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنَ الْكِبَرِ عِتِيًّا
English Translation:
He said: "My Lord! How can I have a son, when my wife is barren, and I have reached the extreme old age."
اردو ترجمہ:
زکریا (علیہ السلام) کہنے لگے میرے رب! میرے ہاں لڑکا کیسے ہوگا، جبکہ میری بیوی بانجھ اور میں خود بڑھاپے کے انتہائی ضعف کو پہنچ چکا ہوں.
قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٌ وَقَدْ خَلَقْتُكَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ تَكُ شَيْئًا
English Translation:
He said: "So (it will be). Your Lord says; It is easy for Me. Certainly I have created you before, when you had been nothing!"
اردو ترجمہ:
ارشاد ہوا کہ وعده اسی طرح ہو چکا، تیرے رب نے فرما دیا ہے کہ مجھ پر تو یہ بالکل آسان ہے اور تو خود جبکہ کچھ نہ تھا میں تجھے پیدا کر چکا ہوں.
قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَل لِّي آيَةً ۚ قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ سَوِيًّا
English Translation:
[Zakariya (Zachariah)] said: "My Lord! Appoint for me a sign." He said: "Your sign is that you shall not speak unto mankind for three nights, though having no bodily defect."
اردو ترجمہ:
کہنے لگے میرے پروردگار میرے لئے کوئی علامت مقرر فرما دے، ارشاد ہوا کہ تیرے لئے علامت یہ ہے کہ باوجود بھلا چنگا ہونے کے تو تین راتوں تک کسی شخص سے بول نہ سکے گا.
فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ مِنَ الْمِحْرَابِ فَأَوْحَىٰ إِلَيْهِمْ أَن سَبِّحُوا بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًّا
English Translation:
Then he came out to his people from Al-Mihrab (a praying place or a private room, etc.), he told them by signs to glorify Allah's Praises in the morning and in the afternoon.
اردو ترجمہ:
اب زکریا (علیہ السلام) اپنے حجرے سے نکل کر اپنی قوم کے پاس آکر انہیں اشاره کرتے ہیں کہ تم صبح وشام اللہ تعالیٰ کی تسبیح بیان کرو.
يَا يَحْيَىٰ خُذِ الْكِتَابَ بِقُوَّةٍ ۖ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْحُكْمَ صَبِيًّا
English Translation:
(It was said to his son): "O Yahya (John)! Hold fast the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah)]." And We gave him wisdom while yet a child.
اردو ترجمہ:
اے یحيٰ! میری کتاب کو مضبوطی سے تھام لے اور ہم نے اسے لڑکپن ہی سے دانائی عطا فرما دی.
وَحَنَانًا مِّن لَّدُنَّا وَزَكَاةً ۖ وَكَانَ تَقِيًّا
English Translation:
And (made him) sympathetic to men as a mercy (or a grant) from Us, and pure from sins [i.e. Yahya (John)] and he was righteous,
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اپنے پاس سے شفقت اور پاکیزگی بھی ، وه پرہیزگار شخص تھا.
وَبَرًّا بِوَالِدَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَكُن جَبَّارًا عَصِيًّا
English Translation:
And dutiful towards his parents, and he was neither an arrogant nor disobedient (to Allah or to his parents).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اپنے ماں باپ سے نیک سلوک کرنے والا تھا وه سرکش اور گناه گار نہ تھا.
وَسَلَامٌ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ وُلِدَ وَيَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ يُبْعَثُ حَيًّا
English Translation:
So Peace on him the day he was born the day that he dies and the day that he will be raised up to life (again)!
اردو ترجمہ:
اس پر سلام ہے جس دن وه پیدا ہوا اور جس دن وه مرے اور جس دن وه زنده کرکے اٹھایا جائے.
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَرْيَمَ إِذِ انتَبَذَتْ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا مَكَانًا شَرْقِيًّا
English Translation:
And mention in the Book (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW, the story of) Maryam (Mary), when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to a place facing east.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس کتاب میں مریم کا بھی واقعہ بیان کر۔ جبکہ وه اپنے گھر کے لوگوں سے علیحده ہو کر مشرقی جانب آئیں.
فَاتَّخَذَتْ مِن دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًا فَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًا سَوِيًّا
English Translation:
She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our Ruh [angel Jibrael (Gabriel)], and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ان لوگوں کی طرف سے پرده کر لیا ، پھر ہم نے اس کے پاس اپنی روح (جبرائیل علیہ السلام) کو بھیجا پس وه اس کے سامنے پورا آدمی بن کر ظاہر ہوا.
قَالَتْ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِالرَّحْمَـٰنِ مِنكَ إِن كُنتَ تَقِيًّا
English Translation:
She said: "Verily! I seek refuge with the Most Beneficent (Allah) from you, if you do fear Allah."
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ کہنے لگیں میں تجھ سے رحمٰن کی پناه مانگتی ہوں اگر تو کچھ بھی اللہ سے ڈرنے والا ہے.
قَالَ إِنَّمَا أَنَا رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَامًا زَكِيًّا
English Translation:
(The angel) said: "I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son."
اردو ترجمہ:
اس نے جواب دیا کہ میں تو اللہ کا بھیجا ہوا قاصد ہوں، تجھے ایک پاکیزه لڑکا دینے آیا ہوں.
قَالَتْ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ وَلَمْ أَكُ بَغِيًّا
English Translation:
She said: "How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor am I unchaste?"
اردو ترجمہ:
کہنے لگیں بھلا میرے ہاں بچہ کیسے ہو سکتا ہے؟ مجھے تو کسی انسان کا ہاتھ تک نہیں لگا اور نہ میں بدکار ہوں.
قَالَ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٌ ۖ وَلِنَجْعَلَهُ آيَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَرَحْمَةً مِّنَّا ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرًا مَّقْضِيًّا
English Translation:
He said: "So (it will be), your Lord said: 'That is easy for Me (Allah): And (We wish) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (Allah), and it is a matter (already) decreed, (by Allah).
اردو ترجمہ:
اس نے کہا بات تو یہی ہے ۔ لیکن تیرے پروردگار کا ارشاد ہے کہ وه مجھ پر بہت ہی آسان ہے ہم تو اسے لوگوں کے لئے ایک نشانی بنا دیں گے اور اپنی خاص رحمت، یہ تو ایک طے شده بات ہے.
۞ فَحَمَلَتْهُ فَانتَبَذَتْ بِهِ مَكَانًا قَصِيًّا
English Translation:
So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place (i.e. Bethlehem valley about 4-6 miles from Jerusalem).
اردو ترجمہ:
پس وه حمل سے ہو گئیں اوراسی وجہ سے وه یکسو ہو کر ایک دور کی جگہ چلی گئیں.
فَأَجَاءَهَا الْمَخَاضُ إِلَىٰ جِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ قَالَتْ يَا لَيْتَنِي مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَـٰذَا وَكُنتُ نَسْيًا مَّنسِيًّا
English Translation:
And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a date-palm. She said: "Would that I had died before this, and had been forgotten and out of sight!"
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر درِد زه ایک کھجور کے تنے کے نیچے لے آیا، بولی کاش! میں اس سے پہلے ہی مر گئی ہوتی اور لوگوں کی یاد سے بھی بھولی بسری ہو جاتی.
فَنَادَاهَا مِن تَحْتِهَا أَلَّا تَحْزَنِي قَدْ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيًّا
English Translation:
Then [the babe 'Iesa (Jesus) or Jibrael (Gabriel)] cried unto her from below her, saying: "Grieve not! Your Lord has provided a water stream under you;
اردو ترجمہ:
اتنے میں اسے نیچے سے ہی آواز دی کہ آزرده خاطر نہ ہو، تیرے رب نے تیرے پاؤں تلے ایک چشمہ جاری کر دیا ہے.
وَهُزِّي إِلَيْكِ بِجِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ تُسَاقِطْ عَلَيْكِ رُطَبًا جَنِيًّا
English Translation:
"And shake the trunk of date-palm towards you, it will let fall fresh ripe-dates upon you."
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اس کھجور کے تنے کو اپنی طرف ہلا، یہ تیرے سامنے تروتازه پکی کھجوریں گرا دے گا.
فَكُلِي وَاشْرَبِي وَقَرِّي عَيْنًا ۖ فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ الْبَشَرِ أَحَدًا فَقُولِي إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ صَوْمًا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ الْيَوْمَ إِنسِيًّا
English Translation:
"So eat and drink and be glad, and if you see any human being, say: 'Verily! I have vowed a fast unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) so I shall not speak to any human being this day.
اردو ترجمہ:
اب چین سے کھا پی اور آنکھیں ٹھنڈی رکھ ، اگر تجھے کوئی انسان نظر پڑ جائے تو کہہ دینا کہ میں نے اللہ رحمنٰ کے نام کا روزه مان رکھا ہے۔ میں آج کسی شخص سے بات نہ کروں گی.
فَأَتَتْ بِهِ قَوْمَهَا تَحْمِلُهُ ۖ قَالُوا يَا مَرْيَمُ لَقَدْ جِئْتِ شَيْئًا فَرِيًّا
English Translation:
Then she brought him (the baby) to her people, carrying him. They said: "O Mary! Indeed you have brought a thing Fariya (an unheard mighty thing).
اردو ترجمہ:
اب حضرت عیسیٰ (علیہ السلام) کو لئے ہوئے وه اپنی قوم کے پاس آئیں۔ سب کہنے لگے مریم تو نے بڑی بری حرکت کی.
يَا أُخْتَ هَارُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ امْرَأَ سَوْءٍ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا
English Translation:
"O sister (i.e. the like) of Harun (Aaron) [not the brother of Musa (Moses), but he was another pious man at the time of Maryam (Mary)]! Your father was not a man who used to commit adultery, nor your mother was an unchaste woman."
اردو ترجمہ:
اے ہارون کی بہن ! نہ تو تیرا باپ برا آدمی تھا اور نہ تیری ماں بدکار تھی.
فَأَشَارَتْ إِلَيْهِ ۖ قَالُوا كَيْفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَن كَانَ فِي الْمَهْدِ صَبِيًّا
English Translation:
Then she pointed to him. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"
اردو ترجمہ:
مریم نے اپنے بچے کی طرف اشاره کیا۔ سب کہنے لگے کہ لو بھلا ہم گود کے بچے سے باتیں کیسے کریں؟
قَالَ إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ آتَانِيَ الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلَنِي نَبِيًّا
English Translation:
"He ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: Verily! I am a slave of Allah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;"
اردو ترجمہ:
بچہ بول اٹھا کہ میں اللہ تعالیٰ کا بنده ہوں۔ اس نے مجھے کتاب عطا فرمائی اور مجھے اپنا پیغمبر بنایا ہے.
وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوْصَانِي بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا
English Translation:
"And He has made me blessed wheresoever I be, and has enjoined on me Salat (prayer), and Zakat, as long as I live."
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اس نے مجھے بابرکت کیا ہے جہاں بھی میں ہوں، اور اس نے مجھے نماز اور زکوٰة کا حکم دیا ہے جب تک بھی میں زنده رہوں.
وَبَرًّا بِوَالِدَتِي وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِي جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا
English Translation:
"And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اس نے مجھے اپنی والده کا خدمت گزار بنایا ہے اور مجھے سرکش اور بدبخت نہیں کیا.
وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّا
English Translation:
"And Salam (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!"
اردو ترجمہ:
اور مجھ پر میری پیدائش کے دن اور میری موت کے دن اور جس دن کہ میں دوباره زنده کھڑا کیا جاؤں گا، سلام ہی سلام ہے.
ذَٰلِكَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ ۚ قَوْلَ الْحَقِّ الَّذِي فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ
English Translation:
Such is 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). (it is) a statement of truth, about which they doubt (or dispute).
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ ہے صحیح واقعہ عیسیٰ بن مریم (علیہ السلام) کا، یہی ہے وه حق بات جس میں لوگ شک وشبہ میں مبتلا ہیں.
مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٍ ۖ سُبْحَانَهُ ۚ إِذَا قَضَىٰ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ
English Translation:
It befits not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son [this refers to the slander of Christians against Allah, by saying that 'Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allah]. Glorified (and Exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, "Be!" and it is.
اردو ترجمہ:
اللہ تعالیٰ کے لئے اولاد کا ہونا لائق نہیں، وه تو بالکل پاک ذات ہے، وه تو جب کسی کام کے سر انجام دینے کا اراده کرتا ہے تو اسے کہہ دیتا ہے کہ ہو جا، وه اسی وقت ہو جاتا ہے.
وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ ۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
English Translation:
['Iesa (Jesus) said]: "And verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him (Alone). That is the Straight Path. (Allah's Religion of Islamic Monotheism which He did ordain for all of His Prophets)." [Tafsir At-Tabari]
اردو ترجمہ:
میرا اور تم سب کا پروردگار صرف اللہ تعالیٰ ہی ہے۔ تم سب اسی کی عبادت کرو، یہی سیدھی راه ہے.
فَاخْتَلَفَ الْأَحْزَابُ مِن بَيْنِهِمْ ۖ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن مَّشْهَدِ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
English Translation:
Then the sects differed [i.e. the Christians about 'Iesa (Jesus)], so woe unto the disbelievers [those who gave false witness by saying that 'Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allah] from the meeting of a great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection, when they will be thrown in the blazing Fire).
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر یہ فرقے آپس میں اختلاف کرنے لگے ، پس کافروں کے لئے ویل ہے ایک بڑے (سخت) دن کی حاضری سے.
أَسْمِعْ بِهِمْ وَأَبْصِرْ يَوْمَ يَأْتُونَنَا ۖ لَـٰكِنِ الظَّالِمُونَ الْيَوْمَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ
English Translation:
How clearly will they (polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) see and hear, the Day when they will appear before Us! But the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) today are in plain error.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا خوب دیکھنے سننے والے ہوں گے اس دن جبکہ ہمارے سامنے حاضر ہوں گے ، لیکن آج تو یہ ظالم لوگ صریح گمراہی میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں.
وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْحَسْرَةِ إِذْ قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ وَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
English Translation:
And warn them (O Muhammad SAW) of the Day of grief and regrets, when the case has been decided, while (now) they are in a state of carelessness, and they believe not.
اردو ترجمہ:
تو انہیں اس رنج وافسوس کے دن کا ڈر سنا دے جبکہ کام انجام کو پہنچا دیا جائے گا، اور یہ لوگ غفلت اور بے ایمانی میں ہی ره جائیں گے.
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَرِثُ الْأَرْضَ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا وَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ
English Translation:
Verily! We will inherit the earth and whatsoever is thereon. And to Us they all shall be returned,
اردو ترجمہ:
خود زمین کے اور تمام زمین والوں کے وارث ہم ہی ہوں گے اور سب لوگ ہماری ہی طرف لوٹا کر لائے جائیں گے.
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَّبِيًّا
English Translation:
And mention in the Book (the Quran) Ibrahim (Abraham). Verily! He was a man of truth, a Prophet.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس کتاب میں ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کا قصہ بیان کر، بیشک وه بڑی سچائی والے پیغمبر تھے.
إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَا أَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ وَلَا يُبْصِرُ وَلَا يُغْنِي عَنكَ شَيْئًا
English Translation:
When he said to his father: "O my father! Why do you worship that which hears not, sees not and cannot avail you in anything?
اردو ترجمہ:
جبکہ انہوں نے اپنے باپ سے کہا کہ ابّا جان! آپ ان کی پوجا پاٹ کیوں کر رہے ہیں جو نہ سنیں نہ دیکھیں؟ نہ آپ کو کچھ بھی فائده پہنچا سکیں.
يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي قَدْ جَاءَنِي مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَاتَّبِعْنِي أَهْدِكَ صِرَاطًا سَوِيًّا
English Translation:
"O my father! Verily! There has come to me of knowledge that which came not unto you. So follow me. I will guide you to a Straight Path.
اردو ترجمہ:
میرے مہربان باپ! آپ دیکھیئے میرے پاس وه علم آیا ہے جو آپ کے پاس آیا ہی نہیں ، تو آپ میری ہی مانیں میں بالکل سیدھی راه کی طرف آپ کی رہبری کروں گا.
يَا أَبَتِ لَا تَعْبُدِ الشَّيْطَانَ ۖ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ عَصِيًّا
English Translation:
"O my father! Worship not Shaitan (Satan). Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has been a rebel against the Most Beneficent (Allah).
اردو ترجمہ:
میرے ابّا جان آپ شیطان کی پرستش سے باز آجائیں شیطان تو رحم وکرم والے اللہ تعالیٰ کا بڑا ہی نافرمان ہے.
يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَن يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٌ مِّنَ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيْطَانِ وَلِيًّا
English Translation:
"O my father! Verily! I fear lest a torment from the Most Beneficent (Allah) overtake you, so that you become a companion of Shaitan (Satan) (in the Hell-fire)." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi]
اردو ترجمہ:
ابّا جان! مجھے خوف لگا ہوا کہ کہیں آپ پر کوئی عذاب الٰہی نہ آپڑے کہ آپ شیطان کے ساتھی بن جائیں.
قَالَ أَرَاغِبٌ أَنتَ عَنْ آلِهَتِي يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ ۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ لَأَرْجُمَنَّكَ ۖ وَاهْجُرْنِي مَلِيًّا
English Translation:
He (the father) said: "Do you reject my gods, O Ibrahim (Abraham)? If you stop not (this), I will indeed stone you. So get away from me safely before I punish you."
اردو ترجمہ:
اس نے جواب دیا کہ اے ابراہیم! کیا تو ہمارے معبودوں سے روگردانی کر رہا ہے۔ سن اگر تو باز نہ آیا تو میں تجھے پتھروں سے مار ڈالوں گا، جا ایک مدت دراز تک مجھ سے الگ ره.
قَالَ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكَ ۖ سَأَسْتَغْفِرُ لَكَ رَبِّي ۖ إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِي حَفِيًّا
English Translation:
Ibrahim (Abraham) said: "Peace be on you! I will ask Forgiveness of my Lord for you. Verily! He is unto me, Ever Most Gracious.
اردو ترجمہ:
کہا اچھا تم پر سلام ہو ، میں تو اپنے پروردگار سے تمہاری بخشش کی دعا کرتا رہوں گا، وه مجھ پر حد درجہ مہربان ہے.
وَأَعْتَزِلُكُمْ وَمَا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَأَدْعُو رَبِّي عَسَىٰ أَلَّا أَكُونَ بِدُعَاءِ رَبِّي شَقِيًّا
English Translation:
"And I shall turn away from you and from those whom you invoke besides Allah. And I shall call on my Lord; and I hope that I shall not be unblest in my invocation to my Lord."
اردو ترجمہ:
میں تو تمہیں بھی اور جن جن کو تم اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا پکارتے ہو انہیں بھی سب کو چھوڑ رہا ہوں۔ صرف اپنے پروردگار کو پکارتا رہوں گا، مجھے یقین ہے کہ میں اپنے پروردگار سے دعا مانگ کر محروم نہ رہوں گا.
فَلَمَّا اعْتَزَلَهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ ۖ وَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا نَبِيًّا
English Translation:
So when he had turned away from them and from those whom they worshipped besides Allah, We gave him Ishaque (Isaac) and Ya'qub (Jacob), and each one of them We made a Prophet.
اردو ترجمہ:
جب ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) ان سب کو اور اللہ کے سوا ان کے سب معبودوں کو چھوڑ چکے تو ہم نے انہیں اسحاق ویعقوب (علیہما السلام) عطا فرمائے ، اور دونوں کو نبی بنا دیا.
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِنَا وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ عَلِيًّا
English Translation:
And We gave them of Our Mercy (a good provision in plenty), and We granted them honour on the tongues (of all the nations, i.e. everybody remembers them with a good praise).
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ان سب کو ہم نے اپنی بہت سی رحمتیں عطا فرمائیں اور ہم نے ان کے ذکر جمیل کو بلند درجے کا کر دیا.
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ مُوسَىٰ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مُخْلَصًا وَكَانَ رَسُولًا نَّبِيًّا
English Translation:
And mention in the Book (this Quran) Musa (Moses). Verily! He was chosen and he was a Messenger (and) a Prophet.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس قرآن میں موسیٰ (علیہ السلام) کا ذکر بھی کر، جو چنا ہوا اور رسول اور نبی تھا.
وَنَادَيْنَاهُ مِن جَانِبِ الطُّورِ الْأَيْمَنِ وَقَرَّبْنَاهُ نَجِيًّا
English Translation:
And We called him from the right side of the Mount, and made him draw near to Us for a talk with him [Musa (Moses)].
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم نے اسے طور کی دائیں جانب سے ندا کی اور راز گوئی کرتے ہوئے اسے قریب کر لیا.
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ مِن رَّحْمَتِنَا أَخَاهُ هَارُونَ نَبِيًّا
English Translation:
And We bestowed on him his brother Harun (Aaron), (also) a Prophet, out of Our Mercy.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اپنی خاص مہربانی سے اس کے بھائی کو نبی بنا کر عطا فرمایا.
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولًا نَّبِيًّا
English Translation:
And mention in the Book (the Quran) Isma'il (Ishmael). Verily! He was true to what he promised, and he was a Messenger, (and) a Prophet.
اردو ترجمہ:
اس کتاب میں اسماعیل (علیہ السلام) کا واقعہ بھی بیان کر، وه بڑا ہی وعدے کا سچا تھا اور تھا بھی رسول اور نبی.
وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِ مَرْضِيًّا
English Translation:
And he used to enjoin on his family and his people As-Salat (the prayers) and the Zakat, and his Lord was pleased with him.
اردو ترجمہ:
وه اپنے گھر والوں کو برابر نماز اور زکوٰة کاحکم دیتا تھا، اور تھا بھی اپنے پروردگار کی بارگاه میں پسندیده اور مقبول.
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِدْرِيسَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَّبِيًّا
English Translation:
And mention in the Book (the Quran) Idris (Enoch). Verily! He was a man of truth, (and) a Prophet.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور اس کتاب میں ادریس (علیہ السلام) کا بھی ذکر کر، وه بھی نیک کردار پیغمبر تھا.
وَرَفَعْنَاهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا
English Translation:
And We raised him to a high station.
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم نےاسے بلند مقام پر اٹھا لیا.
أُولَـٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ آدَمَ وَمِمَّنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْرَائِيلَ وَمِمَّنْ هَدَيْنَا وَاجْتَبَيْنَا ۚ إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَبُكِيًّا ۩
English Translation:
Those were they unto whom Allah bestowed His Grace from among the Prophets, of the offspring of Adam, and of those whom We carried (in the ship) with Nuh (Noah), and of the offspring of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Israel and from among those whom We guided and chose. When the Verses of the Most Beneficent (Allah) were recited unto them, they fell down prostrating and weeping.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہی وه انبیا ہیں جن پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے فضل وکرم کیا جو اولاد آدم میں سے ہیں اور ان لوگوں کی نسل سے ہیں جنہیں ہم نے نوح (علیہ السلام) کے ساتھ کشتی میں چڑھا لیا تھا، اور اولاد ابراہیم ویعقوب سے اور ہماری طرف سے راه یافتہ اور ہمارے پسندیده لوگوں میں سے۔ ان کے سامنے جب اللہ رحمان کی آیتوں کی تلاوت کی جاتی تھی یہ سجده کرتے اور روتے گڑگڑاتے گر پڑتے تھے.
۞ فَخَلَفَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَاتَّبَعُوا الشَّهَوَاتِ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا
English Translation:
Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salat (the prayers) [i.e. made their Salat (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times, etc.] and have followed lusts. So they will be thrown in Hell.
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر ان کے بعد ایسے ناخلف پیدا ہوئے کہ انہوں نے نماز ضائع کردی اور نفسانی خواہشوں کے پیچھے پڑ گئے، سو ان کا نقصان ان کے آگے آئے گا.
إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَأُولَـٰئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا
English Translation:
Except those who repent and believe (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW), and work righteousness. Such will enter Paradise and they will not be wronged in aught.
اردو ترجمہ:
بجز ان کے جو توبہ کر لیں اور ایمان لائیں اور نیک عمل کریں۔ ایسے لوگ جنت میں جائیں گے اور ان کی ذرا سی بھی حق تلفی نہ کی جائے گی.
جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدَ الرَّحْمَـٰنُ عِبَادَهُ بِالْغَيْبِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مَأْتِيًّا
English Translation:
(They will enter) 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), which the Most Beneficent (Allah) has promised to His slaves in the unseen: Verily! His Promise must come to pass.
اردو ترجمہ:
ہمیشگی والی جنتوں میں جن کا غائبانہ وعده اللہ مہربان نے اپنے بندوں سے کیا ہے۔ بیشک اس کا وعده پورا ہونے والا ہی ہے.
لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا إِلَّا سَلَامًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ رِزْقُهُمْ فِيهَا بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًّا
English Translation:
They shall not hear therein (in Paradise) any Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk), but only Salam (salutations of peace). And they will have therein their sustenance, morning and afternoon. [See (V. 40:55)].
اردو ترجمہ:
وه لوگ وہاں کوئی لغو بات نہ سنیں گے صرف سلام ہی سلام سنیں گے، ان کے لئے وہاں صبح شام ان کا رزق ہوگا.
تِلْكَ الْجَنَّةُ الَّتِي نُورِثُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا مَن كَانَ تَقِيًّا
English Translation:
Such is the Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our slaves who have been Al-Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2).
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ ہے وه جنت جس کا وارث ہم اپنے بندوں میں سے انہیں بناتے ہیں جو متقی ہوں.
وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ إِلَّا بِأَمْرِ رَبِّكَ ۖ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا وَمَا خَلْفَنَا وَمَا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّا
English Translation:
And we (angels) descend not except by the Command of your Lord (O Muhammad SAW). To Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between those two, and your Lord is never forgetful,
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم بغیر تیرے رب کے حکم کے اتر نہیں سکتے ، ہمارے آگے پیچھے اور ان کے درمیان کی کل چیزیں اسی کی ملکیت میں ہیں، تیرا پروردگار بھولنے والا نہیں.
رَّبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَاعْبُدْهُ وَاصْطَبِرْ لِعِبَادَتِهِ ۚ هَلْ تَعْلَمُ لَهُ سَمِيًّا
English Translation:
Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, so worship Him (Alone) and be constant and patient in His worship. Do you know of any who is similar to Him? (of course none is similar or coequal or comparable to Him, and He has none as partner with Him). [There is nothing like unto Him and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer].
اردو ترجمہ:
آسمانوں کا، زمین کا اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے سب کا رب وہی ہے تو اسی کی بندگی کر اور اس کی عبادت پر جم جا۔ کیا تیرے علم میں اس کا ہمنام ہم پلہ کوئی اور بھی ہے؟
وَيَقُولُ الْإِنسَانُ أَإِذَا مَا مِتُّ لَسَوْفَ أُخْرَجُ حَيًّا
English Translation:
And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?"
اردو ترجمہ:
انسان کہتا ہے کہ جب میں مرجاؤں گا تو کیا پھر زنده کر کے نکالا جاؤں گا؟
أَوَلَا يَذْكُرُ الْإِنسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ يَكُ شَيْئًا
English Translation:
Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing?
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا یہ انسان اتنا بھی یاد نہیں رکھتا کہ ہم نے اسے اس سے پہلے پیدا کیا حالانکہ وه کچھ بھی نہ تھا.
فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْ وَالشَّيَاطِينَ ثُمَّ لَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْ حَوْلَ جَهَنَّمَ جِثِيًّا
English Translation:
So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees.
اردو ترجمہ:
تیرے پروردگار کی قسم! ہم انہیں اور شیطانوں کو جمع کر کے ضرور ضرور جہنم کے اردگرد گھٹنوں کے بل گرے ہوئے حاضر کر دیں گے.
ثُمَّ لَنَنزِعَنَّ مِن كُلِّ شِيعَةٍ أَيُّهُمْ أَشَدُّ عَلَى الرَّحْمَـٰنِ عِتِيًّا
English Translation:
Then indeed We shall drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against the Most Beneficent (Allah).
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم پھر ہر ہر گروه سے انہیں الگ نکال کھڑا کریں گے جو اللہ رحمنٰ سے بہت اکڑے اکڑے پھرتے تھے.
ثُمَّ لَنَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِالَّذِينَ هُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِهَا صِلِيًّا
English Translation:
Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein.
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر ہم انہیں بھی خوب جانتے ہیں جو جہنم کے داخلے کے زیاده سزاوار ہیں.
وَإِن مِّنكُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَا ۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتْمًا مَّقْضِيًّا
English Translation:
There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished.
اردو ترجمہ:
تم میں سے ہر ایک وہاں ضرور وارد ہونے والا ہے، یہ تیرے پروردگار کے ذمے قطعی، فیصل شده امر ہے.
ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوا وَّنَذَرُ الظَّالِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيًّا
English Translation:
Then We shall save those who use to fear Allah and were dutiful to Him. And We shall leave the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) therein (humbled) to their knees (in Hell).
اردو ترجمہ:
پھر ہم پرہیزگاروں کو تو بچالیں گے اور نافرمانوں کو اسی میں گھٹنوں کے بل گرا ہوا چھوڑ دیں گے.
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَيُّ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ خَيْرٌ مَّقَامًا وَأَحْسَنُ نَدِيًّا
English Translation:
And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)."
اردو ترجمہ:
جب ان کے سامنے ہماری روشن آیتیں تلاوت کی جاتی ہیں تو کافر مسلمانوں سے کہتے ہیں بتاؤ ہم تم دونوں جماعتوں میں سے کس کا مرتبہ زیاده ہے؟ اور کس کی مجلس شاندار ہے؟
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَحْسَنُ أَثَاثًا وَرِئْيًا
English Translation:
And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance?
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم تو ان سے پہلے بہت سی جماعتوں کو غارت کر چکے ہیں جو ساز وسامان اور نام ونمود میں ان سے بڑھ چڑھ کر تھیں.
قُلْ مَن كَانَ فِي الضَّلَالَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ لَهُ الرَّحْمَـٰنُ مَدًّا ۚ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا رَأَوْا مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا الْعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا السَّاعَةَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَأَضْعَفُ جُندًا
English Translation:
Say (O Muhammad SAW) whoever is in error, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will extend (the rope) to him, until, when they see that which they were promised, either the torment or the Hour, they will come to know who is worst in position, and who is weaker in forces. [This is the answer for the Verse No. 19:73]
اردو ترجمہ:
کہہ دیجئے! جو گمراہی میں ہوتا ہے رحمنٰ اس کو خوب لمبی مہلت دیتا ہے، یہاں تک کہ وه ان چیزوں کو دیکھ لیں جن کا وعده کیے جاتے ہیں یعنی عذاب یا قیامت کو، اس وقت ان کو صحیح طور پر معلوم ہو جائے گا کہ کون برے مرتبے والا اور کس کا جتھا کمزور ہے.
وَيَزِيدُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا هُدًى ۗ وَالْبَاقِيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ خَيْرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابًا وَخَيْرٌ مَّرَدًّا
English Translation:
And Allah increases in guidance those who walk aright [true believers in the Oneness of Allah who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden), and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)]. And the righteous good deeds that last, are better with your Lord, for reward and better for resort.
اردو ترجمہ:
اور ہدایت یافتہ لوگوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ ہدایت میں بڑھاتا ہے ، اور باقی رہنے والی نیکیاں تیرے رب کے نزدیک ﺛواب کے لحاظ سے اور انجام کے لحاظ سے بہت ہی بہتر ہیں.
أَفَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي كَفَرَ بِآيَاتِنَا وَقَالَ لَأُوتَيَنَّ مَالًا وَوَلَدًا
English Translation:
Have you seen him who disbelieved in Our Ayat (this Quran and Muhammad SAW) and (yet) says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children [if I will be alive (again)],"
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا تو نے اسے بھی دیکھا جس نے ہماری آیتوں سے کفر کیا اور کہا کہ مجھے تو مال واولاد ضرور ہی دی جائے گی.
أَطَّلَعَ الْغَيْبَ أَمِ اتَّخَذَ عِندَ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ عَهْدًا
English Translation:
Has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the Most Beneficent (Allah)?
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا وه غیب پر مطلع ہے یا اللہ کا کوئی وعده لے چکا ہے؟
كَلَّا ۚ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا يَقُولُ وَنَمُدُّ لَهُ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ مَدًّا
English Translation:
Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell);
اردو ترجمہ:
ہرگز نہیں، یہ جو بھی کہہ رہا ہے ہم اسے ضرور لکھ لیں گے، اور اس کے لئے عذاب بڑھائے چلے جائیں گے.
وَنَرِثُهُ مَا يَقُولُ وَيَأْتِينَا فَرْدًا
English Translation:
And We shall inherit from him (at his death) all that he talks of (i.e. wealth and children which We have bestowed upon him in this world), and he shall come to Us alone.
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ جن چیزوں کو کہہ رہا ہے اسے ہم اس کے بعد لے لیں گے۔ اور یہ تو بالکل اکیلا ہی ہمارے سامنے حاضر ہوگا.
وَاتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لِّيَكُونُوا لَهُمْ عِزًّا
English Translation:
And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah's Punishment etc.).
اردو ترجمہ:
انہوں نے اللہ کے سوا دوسرے معبود بنا رکھے ہیں کہ وه ان کے لئے باعﺚ عزت ہوں.
كَلَّا ۚ سَيَكْفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضِدًّا
English Translation:
Nay, but they (the so-called gods) will deny their worship of them, and become opponents to them (on the Day of Resurrection).
اردو ترجمہ:
لیکن ایسا ہرگز ہونا نہیں۔ وه تو ان کی پوجا سے منکر ہو جائیں گے، اور الٹے ان کے دشمن بن جائیں گے.
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا الشَّيَاطِينَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ تَؤُزُّهُمْ أَزًّا
English Translation:
See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil.
اردو ترجمہ:
کیا تو نے نہیں دیکھا کہ ہم کافروں کے پاس شیطانوں کو بھیجتے ہیں جو انہیں خوب اکساتے ہیں.
فَلَا تَعْجَلْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمْ عَدًّا
English Translation:
So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins).
اردو ترجمہ:
تو ان کے بارے میں جلدی نہ کر، ہم تو خود ہی ان کے لئے مدت شماری کر رہے ہیں.
يَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ الْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى الرَّحْمَـٰنِ وَفْدًا
English Translation:
The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour).
اردو ترجمہ:
جس دن ہم پرہیزگاروں کو اللہ رحمان کی طرف بطور مہمان جمع کریں گے.
وَنَسُوقُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وِرْدًا
English Translation:
And We shall drive the Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) to Hell, in a thirsty state (like a thirsty herd driven down to water),
اردو ترجمہ:
اور گناه گاروں کوسخت پیاس کی حالت میں جہنم کی طرف ہانک لے جائیں گے.
لَّا يَمْلِكُونَ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّخَذَ عِندَ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ عَهْدًا
English Translation:
None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah).
اردو ترجمہ:
کسی کو شفاعت کا اختیار نہ ہوگا سوائے ان کے جنہوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے کوئی قول قرار لے لیا ہے.
وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَـٰنُ وَلَدًا
English Translation:
And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]."
اردو ترجمہ:
ان کا قول تو یہ ہے کہ اللہ رحمٰن نے بھی اولاد اختیار کی ہے.
لَّقَدْ جِئْتُمْ شَيْئًا إِدًّا
English Translation:
Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing.
اردو ترجمہ:
یقیناً تم بہت بری اور بھاری چیز لائے ہو.
تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنشَقُّ الْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ الْجِبَالُ هَدًّا
English Translation:
Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins,
اردو ترجمہ:
قریب ہے کہ اس قول کی وجہ سے آسمان پھٹ جائیں اور زمین شق ہوجائے اور پہاڑ ریزے ریزے ہو جائیں.
أَن دَعَوْا لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ وَلَدًا
English Translation:
That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah).
اردو ترجمہ:
کہ وه رحمان کی اولاد ﺛابت کرنے بیٹھے.
وَمَا يَنبَغِي لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا
English Translation:
But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children).
اردو ترجمہ:
شان رحمٰن کے لائق نہیں کہ وه اولاد رکھے.
إِن كُلُّ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِلَّا آتِي الرَّحْمَـٰنِ عَبْدًا
English Translation:
There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave.
اردو ترجمہ:
آسمان وزمین میں جو بھی ہیں سب کے سب اللہ کے غلام بن کر ہی آنے والے ہیں.
لَّقَدْ أَحْصَاهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّا
English Translation:
Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting.
اردو ترجمہ:
ان سب کو اس نے گھیر رکھا ہے اور سب کو پوری طرح گن بھی رکھا ہے.
وَكُلُّهُمْ آتِيهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَرْدًا
English Translation:
And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender).
اردو ترجمہ:
یہ سارے کے سارے قیامت کے دن اکیلے اس کے پاس حاضر ہونے والے ہیں.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ الرَّحْمَـٰنُ وُدًّا
English Translation:
Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers).
اردو ترجمہ:
بیشک جو ایمان لائے ہیں اور جنہوں نے شائستہ اعمال کیے ہیں ان کے لیے اللہ رحمٰن محبت پیدا کردے گا.
فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ الْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِ قَوْمًا لُّدًّا
English Translation:
So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people.
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم نے اس قرآن کو تیری زبان میں بہت ہی آسان کر دیا ہے کہ تو اس کے ذریعہ سے پرہیزگاروں کو خوشخبری دے اور جھگڑالو لوگوں کو ڈرا دے.
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًا
English Translation:
And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Can you (O Muhammad SAW) find a single one of them or hear even a whisper of them?
اردو ترجمہ:
ہم نے ان سے پہلے بہت سی جماعتیں تباہ کر دی ہیں، کیا ان میں سے ایک کی بھی آہٹ تو پاتا ہے یا ان کی آواز کی بھنک بھی تیرے کان میں پڑتی ہے؟
